| Mahiru seems like too nice of a character. Idk if I trust him, lol. Also, I know some people probably don’t like Kou but I think it’s great to watch his awkwardness and cluelessness. |

| Getting to meet another one of Ko's friends was nice. I wonder if he's also dating a vampire. It was sad seeing Nazuna totally dismiss all of Ko's efforts to keep the date going. She only left bad because she was hungry :( So is Nazuna starting to have feelings for Ko? I mean she did kiss him twice and even decided to hold his hand, pretty wholesome and cute. I don't understand why all the polls are so low when I've seen nothing but positive comments about this anime. |

Selion said: Tonight we continue with Ko on his journey of "what is love?" Baby don't hurt me. As Nazuna gradually shows more affection for Ko, with her latest kiss, handholding, her confession that she has fun when he just acts like himself, and more, I find myself wondering if she is already in love with him. It's as if the anime is asking, What is the threshold between affection and love? Except that it's Nazuna displaying the affection and not Ko. Surprisingly, I don't see much reciprocation on Ko's end. It's hard to tell how he feels about her, probably because he himself doesn't feel strongly about her yet. Either that or they're trying to make him a flat self-insert protagonist. Interesting parallel between Ko and Mahiru as "guys who spend the night out with girls," with Mahiru being "encouraged" by his perception of Ko, while Ko fanboys after his perception of Mahiru. The parallelism expands from just the guys to the two couples in the last scene. With that last (beautiful) shot especially, it's like the anime is going out of its way to emphasize this parallelism between them. Left me a bit confused though, wondering if I was supposed to know enough about this new character yet to derive a meaning from this parallelism. If anything, my guess is that the parallelism confirms Akira's foreshadow that Mahiru's girl is also a vampire, but that's too easy. That can't be the full story! I didn't realize we needed a parallel couple in the storyline, but I guess we'll see where this goes. damn, all I can say is that this is a nicely written analysis of the episode. | Against all odds another male character is introduced. Mahiru's girlfriend or w/e could just be a random vampire, but it's not one we've met so far. Well there's a one year time limit I guess? Somehow I don't feel any bit of additional tension from this reveal. |
| Not gonna lie I cringed a lot this episode especially when Kou was following the list about dates, bro you should know by now Nazuna is not the type to want to go on a movie date let alone a romcom movie. I really like the end part where Nazuna just told Kou to be himself, that was kinda cute not gonna lie. Kou has officially realized that he has only a year to fall in love in order to become a vampire and, ya know. Not die... Things are really ramping up in a way I did NOT expect. |

| This episode was meh or I'm just not liking Nazuna's attitude. The problem I have here is that I'm not understanding wtf Nazuna actually wants. She's willing to fight off all those vamps to protect Ko but doesn't make any initiative to make him fall in love with her. It's pretty much Ko trying to put in as much effort as he can so that he turns into a vamp and doesn't get killed after a year. But Nazuna doesn't give a fuck. She gives such mixed signals. One moment she just sees him as a snack partner and the other time she's protecting him like he's the love of her life. If she loves him, why doesn't she make any effort to save Ko from his 1 yr deadline?? Idk y'all I just can't wrap my head around this. I wonder what's the deal with Mahiru going out with a milf. Akira is by far the best character. |

| Well, now we have a timeline! 1 year! Which to be fair is a decent enough time, although mayhaps not in vampire terms. Also just realised his school friend reminds me of a wonder egg girl! |

| And we’ve offically met all the people that are shown in the opening, let’s welcome Marihu to the gang! He seems pretty kind and chill - I thought he was going to be one of those more hyping and energic blond best friends, but his personality matches the anime’s overall chill vibe, so I’m totally in on it. A little “ehh” on Ko and Nazuna’s current relationship. She’s still not very interested in making him a vampire, and came out because she wanted to suck his blood. I’m curious about Marihu’s love interest, I’m betting she’s a vampire. |
