Also, Yui is not retarded ffs.If she was, she wouldn't be in a normal highschool, ok?D: Each one of them has a trait that is going to the extreme..Such as Ritsu being hyperactive, Mio being a big scaredycat and a moodkiller, Mugi being like OH MAI IT'S THE SUN I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!1!!ONE[i mean,seriously, was all her house made of gold?D:But she comes to school or town or whatever with the train so meh;] and Yui is hyperactive too and clumsy. tl;dr : Yui is not retarded. |

REALLY? anyway this was an entertaining ep. i think they did a good depiction of what a school trip would actually be like with a bunch of airheaded girl band high schoolers. though at the current rate i feel there is going to be even less music played in this season than the last. |

XD and then they keep playing =) haha but they gouldnt get 2 sleep and Mugi snorted =D i love K-ON!!! ITS AMAZING!!! |

| This was the first episode so far that really amused me. The chemistry and nostalgia that was captured really made this episode stand out. The excitement of going on a class trip and the sleep over was really done well. It brought back many forgotten memories. Mio finally opening up was good for her character but the laughter was a bit annoying to me at the end. Yui's reflection on being a senior and the foreshadowing of the ending of their high school experience got me right in the chest and brought back even more emotions long since forgotten. Good episode. Oh course I'd love to see them get serious about their music but this is K-ON after all. This episode in itself seemed way too good to be true. |

Perhaps this episode has more impact for the slightly older members of the audience because it does draw on nostalgia. Of sunny days with school-friends, of sleepovers and mucking about on trips. They recreated the atmosphere perfectly - which is why this episode is so brilliant, as a slice-of-life comedy it doesn't get much more accurate, and much better than this. The laughter and the happiness of the cast are rather infectious, but it does hint at the sadness that is to come, this can't last forever. After 18 or so episodes, we know these characters inside out, and have invested a lot in them, so this episode works very well emotionally. Let's have all the fun we can for now - and leave the seriousness for later on! 5/5 |

I don't think it anything to do with the studio at this point. But I'm with you in doubting that K-ON!! will ever get very serious for long. I'm sure it's going to have a sad transitional episode towards the end when they have to begin a new Journey and leave high school. That part of life always seems sad when reflecting back, but in the moment it is a bit exciting. Who knows where they will go with this series, but it looks like I'm on board to see what happens at this point. |

| By far the best episode so far! Finally the Slice of Life portion has been sucessfully fulfilled :) Each girl had their own special awesomeness. But even if Ritsu and Ui was the most outgoing, Mugi and Mio stole the spotlight, silently and effortlessly. That pillow fight definitely was Mugi's best moment. Mio's always playing the responsible one, and being her usual moe self. I want to help her so bad! She even snapped when they were lost! God mio is awesome :) Even Sawa-sama had her moments. Too bad Azunyan couldn't come. But im sure that would've been moe overload. Too many epic things happened to this episode. Especially the sights and sounds all over kyoto. Attention to detail to all the sights and sounds of Kyoto was second to none... 10 out of 5 stars for this ep. Definitely redeemed itself from last episode. | This episode reminded me why i hate kids. Are this girls really 17 years old? Only Mio seems to be tolerable. Well i guess be silly and enjoy the energy you have when you are young.(Did i just sound like an old man or is it my idea?) I have to admit although not much seem to have changed in K-ON for some reason am bored watching this second season episodes. Is it me, is it that i found better show to watch this season, or is K-ON!! really not as good as the first? |

Mio has always been the more down-to-earth type, but even she can't keep herself from having fun and letting loose once in a while. Same thing goes for Azusa (even though her screentime in this episode is minimal). I have to admit although not much seem to have changed in K-ON for some reason am bored watching this second season episodes. Is it me, is it that i found better show to watch this season, or is K-ON!! really not as good as the first? If you expected this show to somehow to do a full 180 and suddenly get a plot and whatever, you're watching the wrong show. Most people who watch this show know what to expect, so if this season bores you, I advise you to go watch something else and drop this, because it definitely isn't going to become something else than 5 girls lazying around all day, eating cake and sipping tea while occasionally playing some music. |

I found it really boring tbh, liked humour of episodes 1-3 way better Hope next eps will be more fun again and less moe based crap like this episode |
