| How is it possible to get 6 episodes of just talking and then once we finally get to the action the animation is bad? What were they doing this entire time? Still frames and choppy follow throughs should be unacceptable for a title as big as this one. Not to mention that all of the players in these fights are side side characters so I have basically 0 investment in them as well. The best I can say is I like that the 2 fighting the clowns had some personal motivations for doing so. |
| Actions finally breaking out after the long wait, arguably a indefinite one sided fight with Clayman's forces getting the shit kicked out of them by Benimaru's command, while Rimuru sips tea and trys the new outfit Shuna made him. Introduction to the duels we'll be seeing. Suphia and Gabiru's crew vs two priests who i'm still confused how exactly they fit into this fight, Geld and Phobio both getting sweet revenge on the Moderate Harlequin Alliance members who have wronged them in the past, really looking forwards to this fight. And finally Albis against Yamza, who was caught minutes after trying to combat log from the battle. As expected from the forces of Clayman. The Chad Gobta vs the virgin Yamza. Truly, although I would of liked that fight, its probably true Yamza out scales Gobta in raw strength, so touché for Gobta to leave the physical work to Albis. Someone's gotta cheer lead as well i guess. |

| I usually dislike side character fights.. but I actually enjoyed every fight that they displayed. It just felt nerve wrecking to see how much slimes army can hold its own. |

I'm so confused the first half of S1 the pacing was too slow, and the second half they literally skipped hundreds of pages worth of content lol S1 was a trainwreck in S2 however, they're no longer casually skipping stuff. thx goodness as an anime only i can watch this neutral and season 1 was a lot more enjoyable than this season 2 part 2 even the part where rimuru was buliding his city was really interesting all we had in this part 2 so far is one long stretched out meeting and an underwhelming battle of side characters with no stakes whatsoever thats exactly why they've been spending many episode on planning/ prep time, right? most of the stakes simply get eradicated before the fights have even begun rimuru has a whole department thats dedicated to intel gathering, he specifically ordered souei to spy on clayman since iirc episode 2 and benimaru actually has already showcased the ability to lead the army since S1 - the orc lord arc, his ability only gets upgraded to the next level due to rimuru's ascension to demonlordhood |

| Feels like an eternity since we've seen some action... and it was worth it. Animation does seem a little on the stiff side to me... with less frames is my only complaint. Come on studio you can do better after making us waiting so long. |

| Finally, the action started. Albis is dangerous. I wish we could've seen her take out all the fodder. Gobta has grown. He's stepping up and stepping out of the shadow of Rimuru's other subordinates. Good to see that he's improving despite wanting to slack off all the time. I see a possible ship between Albis and Benimaru. They had a little vibe going on. Plus, she doesn't seem like the type to make him eat carrots. |

| At long last, we got the first action packed episode of the (second part of the) season. And it definitely did not disappoint! I think Gobta was the star of the episode :) As for Suphia did anyone else find it weird that she can, er, freaking fly? That was not a long jump she did, it was a proper flight. Perhaps that has been shown before and I cannot recall it; more likely it hasn't. |

| Considering the amount of recycled scenes and lack of animation due to being filled with exposition-heavy scenes only, we finally get some amount of action this time around although not too much, and it looks....... incredibly underwhelming. 8bit aren't the greatest studio in the world but this was disappointing already from the get-go. I hope they improve at least with the upcoming episodes as the action become more important to the storyline. |
| Yes! Some action at last! I know Clayman is a cannon fodder small fry but the way Rimuru's soldiers are beating his is still very impressive. |

| Colour me surprised they aren't over with the battles in this episode alone, as that is quite the norm.. build up heavily and then follow it through briefly. So fine lol. Gobta's a good comic relief but he did the smart thing there in the end. Now I'm rooting for that big booba lady. |
