The new girl seems like a best girl contender and I wanna see more of her in the future. Interesting start for a new arc and the trio looks great together.

we they're back again on exorcizing weak curses!? but looks like there are special curses on the way...better let a bit powered-up Itadori handle this!
and i hope we could see some rage-up Fushiguro this time!
5/5.

This episode has a slow pace in it but it is understandable because it is a set-up episode. Next week episode will feature a lot of fighting scene based on the preview that had been given at the end of this episode.

This episode was pretty well done, taking a break from all the chaos happening in previous episodes and taking a more horror and dark vibe feel to the anime which gloriously fits into this anime.

Nothing to say much about the production other than it was pretty damn good.

The trio strikes again, how long have we seen them three Itadori, Fushiguro and Kugisaki go on a team mission together, a pretty damn long time.

But yeah, 2 more episodes to go, ouch. At least by the looks of it there will be a season 2 coming ut because the amount of things unanswered is still at a great amount and by the popularity and rating of the show, it seems more than likely. The question is when? Hopefully not too long.

In fairness, despite my problems with this anime I found this episode to be quite good. I didn't like the previous arc at all (or honestly, pretty much this whole season bar the Junpei arc which I found to be the only very good arc so far) but this one seems quite interesting. It did a good job building tension in the air.

Let's see. Hopefully it ends on a good note, though my rating for this will still be about 6 or 7 to be totally honest.

This Kind of Paranormal activity cases really remind me of Mob Psycho episode...
I like the Horror and the Mystery aspect from this episode...

Hey new best girl Nitta?

Looks like Fushiguro gonna be the main focus here considering it's happening in his middle school and also about his sister life...

Oh boy from the preview Hanami shows up again WTF

A curse that kills other by their doors huh what an unusual one. Still its quite the surprise seeing Megumi get that much respect within the school that they visited. Being able to prove your strength to every troublemaker and punk in not only the school but the whole area as well is impressive. Akari's ability to ab-lib though was pretty impressive. For Tsumiki being stuck in such a comatose state though is so tragic especially at such a young age as well. Crossing a river symbolizes crossing a line and into another real huh. Overall an excellent ep that combined excellent tension with some much needed expansion on Megumi as a character. After the recent action heavy arc its nice to return to the series roots. Looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Yes finally Fushiguro focused episode. He was getting really less screen time in previous episodes.

Baka A and Baka B XD

I can see everyone melting over that sneak peek of Satoru in the next episode preview and here I'm like “that's some Jojo hands you've got there Gojo”

The sounds those curses were making really reminded me of Yuri from Yarichin bitch bu XD

It's mostly a way for young people to speak in a formal manner, while still sounding somewhat casual. I would say it's most popular in sports clubs, when people address their seniors.

Grammatically it's a "desu", (standard indication for formal speech) that you might know, but said REALLY fast, which over time turned it into "ssu". Since I don't know how familiar you are with kana, I'll give you an example in the roman alphabet.

"hai, sounandesu." which you might now as a generic affirmative phrase turns into "hai, sounanssu"

Haikyuu has it a bunch also, but nowhere near as much as the driver. I realized that she was using it just a tad too much for my taste, so it was easy to tell that she was supposed to fit a certain trope. You'll now probably start to notice it more often and even itadori and fushigoro say it at certain times. Itadori tends to be more informal in general tho, cause he's a brat.

TLDR: Not a dialect just a way of addressing seniors without sounding too stiff, that is mostly popular among young people (IRL you're mostly gonna hear it in sports clubs, I reckon) Source: Was told more than once that I sound "like I belong in a sports club" whenever I talked in that manner to people in their middle ages.

Edit: I failed to mention that it's pretty rare for girls to talk in that manner unless they are portrayed as either

genki tomboyish type

or they are considered "delinquents" and talk that way to the people higher up on the food chain in their gang, should they belong to one.

as to why the character in question talks the way she does:

her looks fit the "former delinquent type" who blindly follows the orders of her boss. at least that's a common trope for that specific look and that way of talking.

it's also quite common for young people to resort to this manner of talking to other younger people since it's considered proper to talk to people on the first meeting in a formal fashion, but they obviously don't want it to be too formal among fellow kids or young adults, amirite.

Back at it again being sent on missions outside the school's grounds. And it seems that Fushiguro's backstory is being revealed albeit once at a time.
Here's the problem I have with Jujutsu Kaisen, we all know that these 3 are really close and are willing to risk their lives to assist one another, but... I just don't feel like that's the case. Perhaps it's because we never really got that much eps showing their interaction together, I don't know if this pet peeve of mine is caused because of the way the events of the story are being served to the audience or if it's simply because these specific parts are cut short when it's adapted into this anime. In any case, it'd really, really help if they were to interact more on a personal level as friends.

On the other hand...

Oh there's a mini arc at the end? I thought these 2 episodes are going to be fillers.
Also can I just say how much I love that there isn't a "drama" thing between 2 characters (Fushiguro and Yuuji) that will just get solved at the end? I usually hate that because I just can't rewatch the anime up until that point if I know a character will get a random development.

A slight upgrade compared to last arc, because at least this time it feels the author was trying to create something decent. There's an actual story going on around here, although clearly not aiming for something big in quality, like in Junpei's arc, the biggest wasted potential of the series. Perhaps the show can at least go for a 6/10

shit went 0-100 real quick, episode did a real good job at balancing humour and suspense in it. Really like how they've seemed to hand the mic to Fushiguro this time, i like his character a lot so looking forward to what they do.

Loved the first part, i could understand the embarrassment of visiting my old school and seeing my teachers, but damn Fushiguro really made a name for himself there as well huh. The mystery was well done, 4 deaths in a time frame with little links to work with, however the twist was brilliant with how it put Fushiguro in the centre, defiantly brought a chill down my spine when the ice broke.
Honestly get yourself friends like Itadori and Kugisaki, probably the best pals Fushiguro could ask for.

Looking forward to next ep, shits about to get spicy.

Unusual deaths going around in town and it doesn't look good and it might affect a lot of people in the process or one by one

Honestly these two, Yuuji and Nobara really fit each other lol it's like they're identical in a sense and they knew what's in their minds, Fushiguro already came here and he had his high school in there

This mission might be a demanding one like the special grade curses but I think they can handle this situation if they work together like in old times.

It feels weird seeing these three together since the last time that happened was in the fourth episode, Nobara being the loud one that just sound like an idiot the more she talks, Itadori just following because what else he could do? and Megumi just standing there but at least it seem this time he might finally do something unlike Nobara that ended up being such a disappointment.

Interesting episode with Itadori, Nobara and Megumi investigating in a case where a curse spirit apparently kills people who went to a suicide place. It was not too much but at least we got a little bit more about Megumi's past. From what I saw so much I didn't think he was some sort of thug when he was younger.

Besides from that there were lots of funny moments and the interaction just often times pretty hilarious. But that shifted when a former classmate of Megumi told him that his sister might also been cursed and therefor with a possibility to die.

Poor guy who became a new victim for Mahito. Not gonna lie, that cursed painting looked disgusting. Looking forward to the upcoming fight.

Maybe it's just me but I like this episodic investigation style once in a while. Especially the procedure to activate the curse which they (or maybe that was just Akari as she was the one narrating the procedure) have deduced from their own sorcery knowledge.
