| Holy, the new opening looks absolutely insane. I bet lots of work and funds went into creating this. If this is the future of anime CGI, I wont complain. I preferred the first song, but the visuals in the new one were just so stunning it made up for everything. |

| If anything the curses only served to make this event that much more interesting. Toudou's strength though is monstrously strong. Thats some confidence though being able to ask Itadori that question with a straight face. Still the resulting scenes that shows them as fellow students was amusing. For the 2nd year students who don't know him Itadori is nothing more than the vessel for Sukuna whether he's displaying human emotions or not. The fight between Itadori and Toudou after the ambush though was fun. It's impressive seeing Itadori go toe to toe with him. Given that its a specialized school a recommendation based advancement system does make sense. Curious to see how this event will progress given that the ambush plans were shattered. |

Are we supposed to believe that Yuuji is in any danger? He is the main protagonist. They already played that fake death card so even that is out of question here. The Todou vs Yuuji was fight was boring. They are fighting just because they're supposed to. There is no depth to it all. The combat itself lacks anydepth. All the moves consist of punching, kicking and punching with cursed energy. That's it. The way characters like to exposit their own actions that we just watched them doing is painful to watch. Like that assistant from Kyoto when she tries to slash Yuuji. Also, why is an assistant in the tournament? Isn't this supposed for the students? But I digress. The other example would be Todou explaining how Yuuji is fighting. Like, we can see that. No need to insult our intelligence. All the students in this tournament act so casually, it's hilarious. I wouldn't blame them though. They have no reason to take this seriously. This tournament has no stakes after all. All their dialogues and interaction are vapid and juvenile. Best example would be Panda and Nobara distastefully calling for Nishimiya. They don't even know her. But act like they do. 2/5. Put it in the background and you won't miss a thing. Why do you guys simplify the fight choreography? Did y'all not see Todo telegraph a straight right only to transition into a wheel kick only to THEN launch Yuji with a follow-up roundhouse kick? He then follows up with a ground punch, only for Yuji to dodge and take advantage of his weaker balance to slam him into the ground. Yuji eats a couple body blows and backflip retreats with Todo in hot pursuit. Surprise! Yuji was baiting Todo by retreating only to backflip onto a branch to kick Todo with the force of his swing, only THEN he continues his backflip once Todo dodges using the branch as a blind spot to attack Todo from the back of his head with Divergent Fist. But no it's just " a punch, kick, punch with CE fight with 0 depth" Just because they're not shooting laser blasts doesn't mean it's not interesting, Though you guys get Mechamaru next episode according to the preview so lucky you. I kind of understand your lack of tension, this arc is a light-hearted training arc for Yuji(or is it?) but the "villains" want to kill the main character. Speaking of the assistant(her name is Miwa and she's apparently a second year from last episode) even though she says she's different from the others she was still willing to kill Yuji for her own goals. So maybe the others have meaningful goals as well? Although this is technically a "team battle" rather than a traditional "tournament arc" when the characters fight we'll definitely learn more about them. I actually liked the casual nature towards life and death the sorcerers held. Panda mentioned that they get desensitized towards violence and to them killing Yuji is like killing a human-shaped curse. Panda and Nobara were mocking Nishiyima because they know she can't move due to Nue. What did you think of Miwa? Her sorry about trying to kill your friend I'm poor, was both funny and illuminating. I like she's not only staying as "the Gojo fangirl". |

| Is killing Yuji a whole arc? We know he won't die, so that feels so unnecessary. It's like a filler content, and it's sad to see such a beautiful animation wasted for that. |

| This episode was pretty good, but felt a little lacking in plot. That's probably just because it's the start of a new arc, and they still need to build up the action. Aside from the non-accidental mistranslations *cough* fuck heterosexual norms *cough*, I can't complain. MAPPA continues to do a fantastic job, and the new episode was a relaxing break from the Attack on Titan dumpster fire of a fandom that I'm also sadly stuck in right now. Until next episode :)) |

| Worse arc so far. After the tight paced, high tension, and heart breaking story in the previous arc, this tournament arc is a real let down. Full of head scratcher moment, like how the heck the kyoto student tried to assassinate yuuji in front of staff and teacher of both jujutsu tech? none of the teacher even try to stop the match? Why the tokyo student didnt tried to notify the teacher when they realise the kyoto intention? What actually the format of the match, team fight? Race? Or free for all? How this match will strenghent the friendship? How the student get benefitted from this "friendly match" when they already have full times experience fighting high level curse? Why the government and the staff of the school let high risk "friendly match" when jujutsu sorcerer number is already low? Besides all of that this arc has almost no tension. We knows yuuji will not dead again, none of the character wheter from kyoto or tokyo feel like their live might be threaten somehow. And all of the the kyoto student seem like one trait character: the ruthless, the muscle head, the bitch etc etc |

| While I was still a little taken aback by how brutal Toudou was, Yuuji just-- "What if you made me even dumber than I already am?!". This kid, man. Nakamura Yuuichi really fits Gojou like a glove, his theatrics in his Juju Stroll bit were as cheeky as can be. |
| Toudou judging others based on their taste in women yet the Idol he loves so much is portrayed like such a bitch xD Entertaining episode as expected. Still nothing too spectacular concerning this current arc but next week's preview looks promising. Looking forward to seeing Panda and the rest of secondary characters entering the fray. So Gojou is into kind girls like Miwa, uh? Honestly, I always thought he would be the kind of guy who prioritizes body-type over personality. |

| Let take a minute to enjoy the fight between Yuuji and Toudou. Let just say that the fight was so inspirational. Toudou finally found someone who he can call a best friend. Toudou also helped Yuuji find the weakness of his Divergent First. Deep down, Toudou is a nice guy. He just wants to find his best friend who has the same fetish as he is. |

Itadori got saved thanks to his “tall girls with big ass”, what a great friendship XD “What if you made me even dumber than I already am?!” - Itadori admits that he's dumb 🤣 Panda and Nobara makes a perfect duo XD Miwa most probably describing Satoru while Satoru saying nice girls like Miwa. Miwa might faint after hearing that 😂 |

Of course the tournament has a goal, to see which of Tokyo or Kyoto is better, seeing who is better between the participants is literally the goal of a tournament you know, and that's the case for every tournament out there lmao. There's also the goal of killing Itadori, you're going to say" wE AlreAdy kNow iT's nOt gOing tO HaPpen", that doesn't matter if it happens or not, it's a goal. Plus "This exchange event will allow you to learn about yourselves and your comrades"(ep.14 , you probably missed or ignored that line) so it's basically training, so at the end there is 3 goals that you missed, don't thank me it's alright. No consequences ? Yeah duh it just started, you already want the aftermath ????? There will be consequences once the tournament is over because you know things need to happen for their consequences to exist..... Rewards aren't necessary in a tournament, especially school tournament, the purpose of a tournament to begin with is only to see which participants is better.
