There's no way Itadori would die now but, the way his "death" was handled was pretty good. Overall pretty good episode, Fushigorou and Sukuna's fight was basically Mappa flexing their animation once again. Fushigorou's monologue was really good too, he saves unequally.
And we finally meet the 2nd years and of course Panda-senpai, I like them. And their gonna train Kugisaki and Fushigorou now, and they honestly need that training.
I become intrested in the new characters early from op of the first episode.Excited to see they were getting introduced.
From this episode we have more understandings about Migumi's outlook on life.We can also see that Yuuji can save his companions at the cost of his own life.It made me shocked that Yuuji was so calm at the end of his life. “Wish you a long life..."
At the end of this episode we can get information that Yuuji did't die actually.I can imagine Megumi and Nobara's excitement when Yuuji is brought back to life.Next episode we can see the fight between Yuuji and Sukuna(?)The approximate rate is a fight on words. The next one is worth expecting!
wow what an episode, so much going on & so many new characters introduced!
when itadori's heart was ripped out i was like o_____O wut
ahhh, i think fushiguro is going to be my favourite character. that scene he shared with kugisaki was so subtle yet showed how is so observant & caring in his ways.
ꕤ but i’ll probably remember over and over again you were there and everyone else was there
— the day we all searched for just one thing ꕤ
WTH?! Sukuna took Yuuji's heart and threw it like a piece of trash. Good thing Yuuji is still alive and fighting, probably to have a pact with Sukuna and control his powers. And the Curses are teaming up to defeat Gojou-sensei and the rest of the Jujutsu sorcerers!!
I wander if the 2nd years are really strong. Looks like the upcoming arc will be fascinating!

This.
I am really liking this series and 4th episode is tbh the best of the five. One second they are mourning for the death of their partner and other they are hyped up and excited for some upcoming tournament. The shift really seemed odd.I don't know the first half was too strong.MC dying,MC's partner having good moments and a great monlogue and it's all ruined by all these senpais arriving and announcing some tournament
Wonder if the same terrible comedy timing is present in the manga
Joei-12 said: so after 5 episodes it's official, the soundtrack is pretty lame
Mappas ost honestly do suck. That might hurt AOT
Dude I don't know if you know that same guy responsible for previous seasons' soundtrack is working for final season also.So just chill, don't find ways to hate on a studio who takes over your favorite anime.First it was animation issue which was properly answered by MAPPA and now its soundtrack
And I agree soundtrack is not upto the mark for a Shounen like that of MHA,AOT etc but whatever the music they are using for different moments here and there,it' s certainly not bad.
Holy shit this show gets better every week the fight between Megumi and sukuna was fucking incredible also I laughed at sukuna face right before the fight. This show is building up to be the anime of the season in my opinion and one of the best of the year. TALKING PANDA :o
I was saying true about this anime's realistic perspective, they really made me think main guy is dead until last minutes. Being realistic and not going too out from anime boundaries is hard but if they keep doing that this anime will blow up even more.
Kaasfondue said: Meh, didn't expect this to be weakest episode yet. Too much stuff happening in 5 episodes, everything seems too forced and unnatural. No time to breath life into this show.
Fail to see how this is any better than Fire Force.
It is actually following the manga to a T which is pretty awesome. I can see how it can be fast considering Yuji just entered the school and a lot has already happened to him.
Sakuna vs Megumi fight was awesome but it was really one-sided. It felt like the animation for this fight went overboard though.
Yuji dies, but did he?
New characters introduced, oh the panda is finally here voiced by Gilgamesh VA too lol.
SomeGuyWithHair said: Oh, so Yuuji died, okay. This better have any significance, seeing that he's obviously gonna come back. If not, then that's just pointless.
We got to see Panda here. Besides, I don't think MC would die earlier at this point lol It's really a pleasure to hear Junichi Suwabe voicing Sukuna: I always hear Emiya.
Well this addressed my complaint from the last episode. Well played I guess. Met the Panda from the OP. Pretty big meme. The gimmick with the guy who only speaks sushi related things is pretty stupid tho.
Fortunately that never happen, yeah jujutsu it's a typical shonen battle, but never gets that level of cringe that is Neo-Persona 4
For me they feel like Naruto-Kurama. I don´t think these two will be friends, but it´s obvious that Yuuji will eventually start gaining some respect and power from Sukuna.
F ofr Yuuji. Although it's very likely he will come back soon, I'm still interested how he will return back to life.
Also, a talking jujutsu Panda. That's quite the poggers moment right there. Panda seems like a cool and fun character, looking foward to seeing more from him.

It was a good episode. The fight between Sukuna and Fushiguro was nicely animated. It was kinda predictable that Itadori's not gonna die, as he's the main character, LoL.
Don't know anything about the long haired guy at the restaurant but wanna see what's he planning. Can't wait for next week.
Okay, this is really insane episode. I am amazed with how the storyline felt so flawless on my taste. Yes, there were many mysteries for me, and some parts with no detail. At least its good to know they were all save, except that death ass Itadori. But, to slow it down, they announced another side character to let the information dumped in a nice way at the background. Well, lets see whats the deal with all of that thing ....
Okay, my spoiler is not so important. So don't open it if you don't want to get annoyed xD.
As an anime watcher only, i am completely surprised with how Itadori really get pointed out as a death meat back there. Really, its a great twist for me. Its really caught off my guard, yes one student really death xD. Lol at Sukuna casually took off Itadori's heart, i can't believed with such a scene to be happened and its really such a nice way to seal the body. Ngl, this show really had a nice timing to entertained me with their twist. So to completing it out, Itadori's death body being an object of experiment for that woman, it seemed. Or she would heal him? No way. Well, i don't know whats goin on in the next episode too, but Itadori was not really die yet, right?
Ah, Gojou reaction was what i need to completing these episode puzzle. He just completely showing his mad knewing his beloved student got trapped. I hope to see his seriousness again to protect his student, or else, these episode rather be a useless chapter for his existence.
Okay, next about Megumi Fushiguro. He had a dark backstory too. Whats the relations between her and Fushiguro? I may see her as Fushiguro crush, but how she was death there ? Was she really death by the curse? And whats the deal with Fushigiro father? Before it get a revelations, Fushiguro solidified his heart to always saving people indiscriminately, for the sake of his own the right justice. No way he could let a kind people die, like her crush get in his past. Then, its actually awakened Itadori back to himself. Actually he just need people to acknowledged his action as the right thing, and with the same reason as Fushiguro had, it cause Itadori to realized the reality that he had a real friend whos always backing him up .... Yeah, Fushiguro almost letting his ultimate jujutsu technique to Sukuna, and almost forced him to the real people that died ....
About Gojou sensei and his trouble of dislike against the higher-ups of the Jujutsu Kaisen. Yeah, i completely hate with Gojou statement they were all being framed and all of that just a mere trap to see the real power of Sukuna. However, its such a nice way to made them stronger that before. Yeah, training session and more practices with their senpai! Then the new journey as a high schooler, more competition within the school branch, and yes its acted as their training grounds. Then another introduction to a certain characters, and the last one i care, THAT PANDA, yeah they were looks like a nice senpai! I think all of it was an okay introductional part. I wanted to wrote off about them all. But for now, i think its enough to end like that.
Because the real words might be fully written when another arc already started out especially the next week. More importantly with that man with the 3 curses being that looks like so funny, yeah a volcano head, a weird red looking body like an octopus, and that monster that sounds like an alien. What about the war they were talking about? And how they mentioned Gojou sensei as a strongest Jujutsu sorcerer? Damn, sensei, watch out for another trap! And more shocking statement, Itadori really had a possibility to be alive again!
Okay, thats it. I really hope to see more action, especially with the Panda man. He really become my highlight over their sudden introduction on these episode. Really....
Hide and seek is the best offline games on this fatamorgana-called-world-thing. Please comment nicely. I am newbie here.
Well, I loved it. I'm obviously biased since I'm a huge fan of the manga, but I thought it was amazing. I'm not going to say that the animation is top-notch, but I did think they still tried hard on the action scenes. Episode 1 was just so overwhelming, I think it'll be hard to top that. But other than that, I 've been really looking forward to Sukuna vs. Fushiguro because it's one of my favorite scenes from the manga. Like the way Megumi tells Yuuji that he's not a hero but a jujutsu sorcerer??? And Yuuji's smile???
Also... MAKI. MAKI IS HERE. Maki is, personally, my favorite female character in the series. Of course Kugisaki is good as well but my love for Maki just transcends. She's just so badass???? Like the way she fights is so amazing???? What??? Why does she not exist in real life??? But anyways. I've seen some people calling the tournament (which isn't really a tournament but they call it that) a filler episode when it hasn't even come out yet, but it's not??? If you'd either wait until it comes out or actually do some research by reading the manga you'd know that the story progresses during the Kyoto Sister School Competition Arc. It's pretty amazing since you get to meet the second years and the students from the Kyoto Sister School. But I guess people will criticize anything.
Dear manga readers, guess what's coming up soon???? I'm not sure if this forum allows manga spoilers but just in case:
Gojou's showing his face soon... And his domain expansion. God help us.
Lol okay I think some ppl will be upset by what I'm about to say but I was hoping Megumi would take the knife out of the 3 first years...But if Yuuji is still all good then it's alright!! That Sukuna and Megumi fight felt so good to watch (definitely the best of the 3-5 action anime I'm watching) that it feels unfair we gotta wait another week for the next episode lmao; feels like we're heading in the 'sports competition' direction if you guys know what I'm implying :DD

what dude moving about semi dancing?
The MC I would guess. Its pretty obvious who he is.
Roch2001 said: Well, not 100% sure what the dude did to suppress Sukuna other than potentially, if I understand the conversation was give up some of his life. Which wouldn't surprise me giving how wild some of this Jujutsu stuff is going down. Plenty interesting politics as well it seems. Next week please!
Itadori got control back like usual, it's just that it was a little more difficult this time (I'm assuming the more he relies on Sukuna's power, the harder it is to gain control). The only reason he didn't go back immediately was because once Sukuna took out the heart, swapping back would mean death for Itadori. That's why he's currently "dead."
That argument dosent really hold true though. If he was taking back control like usual why would he allow the situation to escalate to the point it had before he did so. Sakuna was even reveling in the fact he thought he already had full control of the body.

Idk where you're claiming that Sukuna gained full control. In the episode, Sukuna said himself that it was only a matter of time for Itadori to gain control again.
And so, while Itadori was struggling to get back control, Sukuna took out the heart. By doing this, now if Itadori transforms back, then he loses his life. This way Sukuna would remain in control while Itadori essentially contemplates whether to value his life or Fushiguro's life higher. In the end, he sacrifices himself and regains control but "dies" in the process.
Some stupid guy that can only talk in riceball ingredients. Smash bros references. Nobara and Fushiguro both being upset with Itadori's dead. Panda-Senpai. A good cliffhanger. Solid episode.
This episode was great just like every other so far the animation for the Sukuna fight was cold and I enjoyed the smash bros reference I just want the next episode now.
