Well this two last episodes were adapted pretty faithful when it comes to events although some things are still missing. The most important is how Zaruyusu saw Ainz as a GOD that rules over life and death after his resurrection and also the mental state of Cocytus having to appear before Ainz after losing the first battle. He was a nervous wreck full of regret of his failure and was scared to face his master. That was thoroughly described in the LN but not here. The last is the battle tactics that threw the whole arc were miserably adapted. the first previous two episodes were very rushed unlike the last two and missed lot of characterization of the lizard-men and the first battle against Ainz was poorly shown without any of the feeling of how epic a battle was fore the lizardmen and the courage and tactics they used including even Rorororo(the hydra). For example did you know that the lizard guy with the skeleton like armor was a village chief that wore one of the treasures(special magical items) of the lizardmen. That armor of his was a magical item with a skill that made it even better than mithril armor high level adventurers of humans use. To become like that the magical armor sucks the intelligence of the one wearing it and that is why the one who was wearing it spoke simplistic like that. Normally it will make it's owner a complete idiot to a vegetable but that lizarman was especially smart so he could still think despite wearing that armor and that is why he was admired by his people. Which makes the fact that Cocytus sliced him in half so easily quite relevant in showing his powers and the power of that sword of his. |

Why would you even fight a much much much stronger enemy (with no winning chance) if it offers you something valuable like wisdom or other "good shit" in return for obedience. We human are a shitty race that does wars for the pettiest reasons like oil, race or simple conquest. I mean if they really keep their promise then so be it. We have a bigger Insight for Overlord: Ainz is benevolent towards his own people and the lizard men are a primitive race that slaughter themselves because there isnt enough room for all the tribes at the great lake. Put two and two together and u see that this is actually the best outcome for them. Minus their fallen comrades. |

| The overlord has finally conquered the Lizard men. Cocytus is really an honorable and prideful warrior, I think he is one of my favorite loyal guardian. I am glad Zaryusu got to live, he would make a great warrior for Ains. I am really looking forward to the next one. |

Ainz said clearly that their bodies are to be preserved. If they weren't going to be brought back eventually he wouldn't do that. Again keep trying. Your attempts to demonize the end result are adorable. It's not like Ainz is demanding their food or tribute in money. Both of which he has no problem making on his own. The Lizardmen stand only to gain from this. |

| Oh God! Fantastic Superb Episode!! This show is really getting better!!! First parts were so hilarious I laugh-out a lot! Shaltear's punishment was being a slave chair! but hilarious thing was she took pleasure from the punishment like it was a reward! LOL at Albedo! she was easily pissed-off to Shaltear! and break some stuff cuz she couldn't handle the situation that's going on! LOL at the funny reaction of Ainz! I knew they would see the mating of Lulu and Zaryusu! hahah Ainz made a facepalm! that was very priceless! There's no hope in winning against Cocytus! poor lizard men but the impressive even that happened on this episode was Zaryusu was resurrected! in place of total absolute allegiance to Ainz! 5/5! |

| I'm glad the arc ended surprisingly well. It bumped up the rating for this season for me - I actually almost got emotional when Zaryusu was resurrected. This is probably the best episode so far, imo. A great ending to an okay arc is always appreciated, the sheer gore and entirely one-sided Cocytus fight and of course, the humour. I got spoiled about the lizard sex scene way before S2 was announced, but I never knew it'll turn out this way xD and the episode had other funny moments too. Emotional, funny and an open ending. What a great goddamn episode. |
| The fight between the lizardmen and Cocytus is great! I don't see any major quality drop. This episode is hilarious. Not only did we get the long-awaited fight but also that moment when Ainz sat on Shalltear (Along with Albedo's accurate reaction) and the scene when everyone saw Zaryusu and Crush mating with each other. That scene is too funny... The reactions Ainz and the others got just made it funnier! The Lizardmen arc is now complete... (Correct me if I'm wrong) |
