| Maybe it's because I got old, but I find Yukihira rather annoying now. He's overconfident and basically looks down on everyone else in the academy with his attitude. Yet he will still probably win anyway. That's gonna be hard to watch for me. :/ |

| Did this anime get...prettier? I remember my only complaint about this show was that the colors felt kind of bland, but I didn't really get that feeling for this ep. Maybe it's just been a while |
| As a manga reader, so far It looks like It'll be a good adaptation... Liked both the OP and ED too, I like SoumaxErina moment in the Opening. From seeing the Opening and this Episode pace, I would guess this season probably going to have 24-25 Episode since this Episode adapt only 2 chapters instead of around 3-4 chapters like Season 2 did and They showed Kurokiba vs. that other guy in the Opening which happens around chapter 155 in the manga (and this Episode is from chapter 120 & 121) so the fight could be the finale of the first-half of the season or probably dat' SoumaxErina moment as the finale. Kind of disappointed They changed Souma's expression in the End from the Original. But It still funny nonetheless... |

| Apparently there was an OVA of their meeting with the Elite Ten that happens right after the Stagiare and I didn't watch it (good thing I read the manga tho!), but that means I don't get to hear Rindou's voice D: for a while! Overall, I am adequately hyped for this season; a huge step-up from Black Clover yesterday! The OP was also the most lit so far, which it should be, since the story goes from 100 to 1000 from this point moving forward. |

| YES! YES! YES! YES! Not only did they keep Rindou-senpai hotter than hotterson, they also gave her my favorite seiyuu for this kind of characters of all times: Shizuka Itou. And then even 2 seasons. What a day! |
| The beginning was a tad fast. I would've liked this to be presented as a regular story than a flashback exposition. But it gets right to the arc without any unnecessary fluff. The elite ten all look and feel interesting from first glance and the set up for next episode has me fucking ready. OP was real HYPE. And I didn't notice Erina VA change all that much but I hope the original comes back, she has more bite in her acting to voice her sass. 4/5 It'll get better as it goes, I know. |

| This is really one of those shows where I don't even really understand what it is I like about it. But watching this episode, it hit me how much I missed this series. Glad to have Souma back, he's definitely one of my favorite shounen protagonists and really looking forward to seeing this arc animated. |

| The animation didn't look as good as other seasons and we get barely any cooking this episode. Not a terrible start but I'm hoping things pick up a bit. |

| Erina really mellowed out, with the new voice she just feels like a tsundere, before had some kind of evil aura and now thats gonna, still doing great job but the original version was way better. On other hand I liked Megumi better in this new season, even though the voice probably same. Otherwise this was a great start, cant wait for the next ep. |
| The fact that Soma constantly gets himself in bad situation because of his ignorance like not knowing rules and regulations and has not got kicked out yet astonishes me...especially this episode where he participates in an event that can get him expelled lol Anyway, this was a good first episode and is a good sign of things to come. I'm also glad we finally get to see the Elite 10 again immediately. Yep, just like everyone is saying....''everyone is back yaaay'' or ''It's finally back'' or my favorite ''50 episode plzzz!'' 4/5 |

| I was really looking forward to watching this, but this episode was terrible. As for the animation, there were a lot of weird angles, non-stop panning, and terrible CG, which really made it hard for me to focus. On top of the animation being an eyesore, the entire episode was a exposition dump, with hardly any actual character dialogue. 4/10, needs more food. |
| The animation seems to have a different look oAo I still can't get over Tsukasa's VA tho x'D I just Can't unhear Katsura for him ;;;; Hopefully it'll grow on me. I wasn't expecting that voice for him at all >V>;;; |

They need to explain what the festival is about and how it works. Exposition is kinda needed to do that. There's never been just non-stop cooking every episode. You shouldn't expect that there will be. The animation was fine too. The only part that looked bad was the CG with all the bald dudes flipping rice. |

| I like the OP, but the animation of the ED is mostly just a bunch of shots from the show with the characters silhouettes over them :/ Song is by nano.Ripe though, so at least the song is good. Erina was cute, and Terunori is a great character so far. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this festival battle plays out! |
| Watching the OP we already know just how far we'll at least get to in this season. Am soooo hyped for it all right now! Can't wait to see the next episode of Megumi and the rest of them trying out Souma's dishes XD |

| Just like Souma to want to challenge the elite 10 straight away though. As expected of Kuga's stronghold its really impressive in how many men he has. So the moon festival is nothing like a normal school festival it seems. So even the siting of the stands plays a important role in the festival. I guess securing the best site that you need for your specific style will be important. Its funny that after that defeat Nao is now devoted to Hisako. Man just like Yukihira to be as bold as putting his stall in front of Kuga's. But its nice to see Food war's is still as strong as ever. Though i was worried that since Risa did not voice Erina her replacement might not be able to portray her effectively it seems my fears were unfounded since Hisako Kanemoto is doing an excellent job portraying Erina. |

| So judging based on the OP alone, the series is about confronting Elite Ten AND "rescuing" Erina... I guess? And looking at the scene about how the Grandpa beg in front of Yukihira that night. |
