About Me

How I arbitrarily rate my anime by impression:

1: It annoys the fuck out of me. Mostly due to cliches, being illogical, and faggot MCs. Usually it's the MC that's the culprit.
2: Same as 1, but less intense.
3: Same as 2, but less intense.
4: So-so anime. Lacking in story-telling aspects or logic.
5: So-so anime. Not enough to make me feel interested to find out what happens next, yet I'm reluctant to drop it because I already have the whole series.
6: Anime with hit-or-miss episodes. Mediocre series as a whole but it's got its moments.
7: Watchable anime that can keep me tuning in. Good premise but riddled with cliches and unrealistic protagonist development. Not enough to 'wow' me. Long shounen series tend to fall into this one.
8: Decent anime. An upgrade from 7, minus most cliches.
9: An anime that's either compelling or fun to watch. An upgrade from 8.
10: Same as 9, but it's one I would enjoy re-watching if I ever run out of new anime. (Exception: Ousama Game The Animation because it's legendary terrible that it's good lel. I gave it 10 for lulz.)

8-10 are essentially the same to me. Graphics and music don't mean much to me if the story sucks; my rating is based heavily on the story itself and overall impression, which is subjective. I don't have any pretentious elitist scale to measure an anime 'empirically' when it's still pretty much subjective if you think about it.

I tend to finish whatever I start but I do sometimes drop anime that are lower than 5. I won't recommend anything lower than 6 even to my enemies. I don't judge my friends for watching shows that I despise, though. One man's trash is another's treasure.

I'm not talkative irl, and I hate to debate about subjective things like anime because as mentioned, one man's trash is another's treasure. What I hate passionately may be something you passionately love, and vice versa. No point trying to change someone's opinion on something trivial like anime/manga.

If you're someone trying to find faults with me here to reply my posts in a forum, then you're a sad sack of shit who can't argue logically and had to resort to personal attacks to justify your sad existence. Get out of your room and do something productive instead.

Retired from writing reviews due to unnecessary nitpicking removals that could have been instantly fixed in a line (one particular idiot mod annoyed me for this) and blunders from mods, intentional or not. There's limit to patience. t(-_-t)

Oh how I wish the favourite list is not limited to just 10.
