| This was another great episode, damn it. I love how the second season is gradually moving at a steady pace, I expect more greatness in the coming episodes its just so good. |

It gets explained, but not in a direct way, more like when (sometime in the future) they finally reach the basement and beyond you will understand what happened there and what did the beast titan (that monkey). | Great episode, I like the pacing. keragamming said: It seems like they have rearrange some scenes, and we will see the rest in next episode. This episode wasn't action packed, but it gives Sasha some needed characterization and development. Next episode is going to be a lot more fast pace though and we see other characters getting more screen time as well, and will also bring up a lot of interesting questions. I can't wait to see anime only reactions to it. Same here, wanna see their reactions about those revelations next episode. Just remembering the "Welcome Home" part gives me shivers. |

Their motive though is still quite unknown, but I have a feeling all the random attacks across different villages is a diversion for the ape (if he is alone). I wonder why don't they just all show up together, e.g. gate breaker and the super large one, and bring the whole thing down lmao. Anyways, he could be also looking for Eren or something else. I don't think he's here to recover Annie. As for the last kyojin that got stuck inside Conny's house... someone may have put it there OR it appeared there by itself... If it's put there, villagers probably got saved by someone, but I'm getting a feeling that all the kyojins were once human hence it "appeared" and got stuck in the house. All speculation. Or the titan was a human who got transformed into a Titan. And that also might be Connie's mother. |

That was actually pretty well written. A child that age sees a parent eaten like that, will either make them scream until they pass out or go in shock. The director is actually doing a good job of keeping the tension up even for us manga readers. The OST is pretty decent as well. Very good second season so far. |
