| Arcanix, stop being sarcatsic. We all know TG is not like other manga that are easy to read. Unlike other "normal" manga, TG is more than just a bunch of images and dialogues. Ishida has a superb writing skills, he puts a lot of things on his dialogues and images than what meets the eye . Some has deep meaning, some are hidden, some are confusing in times,some are references, he also uses foreshadowing, mirror and parallel between his manga. Not to mention other "complex" things like Tarot Cards, hidden meaning in title chapter, chapter 72 entitled "halfway" and the series ended at 143, chapter 100 entitled "Centipede" and centipede = 100-footed, and so on. I can go crazy fanboying this manga for hours. So yeah, what im trying to say is, this manga is not that easy to read. If TG is your first manga to read, or the second manga after naruto or other normal shounen manga, then you will most likely find difficulties to fully understand this manga. So its perfectly normal if you get confused at times. Ishida even said on his twitter that "all answers can be found in his manga" (something around those lines) meaning that he wont explain or reveal everything, thats why he uses foreshadowing, hints, clues, symbolism, etc. For example, Kaneki's left chin touch. Ishida just showed us one time by Hide explaining Touka that Kaneki has a habit of touching his left chin whenever he's lying or feeling uncomfortable. and that's just it. So if you didnt pay attention to these, then you certainly might confused when in RE, Sasaki saying "I'm happy living like these" and you were like "WTF?! i dont understand this, why kaneki why, etc" because you simply didnt notice the chin touch. The same with the "Fingercracking", some people dont even know about these, but we know SHIT is going down when Kaneki / Sasaki does the fingercracking-Jason style, which later turned out to be Tokage syle. See? all of these were not fully explained / revealed. And IMO, its better that way. I recommend to reread, carefully read every panels, and never skip any dialogues!! getting into discussion like this is aslo a good choice to understand TG better. Though, if you read until this chapter and you dont know who the f*ck Eto is, well that is absolutely ABNORMAL. Like seriously, do u even read bruh?? As for the Kanae being a girl argument, I dont even bother. He obviously just a troll. There is nothing wrong / stupid with this revelation. Ishida has gave a lot of hints toward Kanae being a girl (scroll up). What's wrong is you and your homophobia mental illness. |

After that i saw the strong light that made me unable to see who that supreme being was go away and i was shocked that it was Big God. And then i said "God why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night i can feel my brain cells, my 'intelligence' and even my neurons... Everything that we lost wont stop hurting" and then i jumped at Big God and grabbed him and said "You feel it too don't you? I'm the one who was caught into this hell... i was the parasite feeding off their idiocy(for so long)"... after saying that god grabbed me and put me back in my chair without saying a word. And i said again "Big God they'll come after you too, they keep on growing, they swallow everything in their path getting bigger and bigger" and once again i said "BIG God i'll make them give back our brain cells, take back everything that we've lost and i wont rest until we do." Then Big God without saying a word allowed me to see where we are going. It was the mother base(the base were we could gather every idiot and reform them). I was saying some more random shit(that must be left for another time) before some guy put me to sleep and gave me some nanomachines to replace my lost brain cells and neurons. Are you seeing it now? The great quest we all should be on? Send me your coordinates i'll be sure to recruit you. |

| Personally I think it would be interesting to see who will voice Kanae, since she has been melodramatic and intense (mainly in the previous arcs, when trying to help Shu) so maybe that would be demanding. |

| Ehh-h. The biggest problem I have with this manga (though I like it overall) is that named ghouls just can't die, any of them. While CCG dies in packs. I understand that ghouls are tough, but they weren't explained as immortal. Kanae's struggles are interesting, but it'd be so much better for the story if he died now. We have Takizawa for driven mad. Didn't like Rise coming back to life too - she had her time and left an impact, no need to bring her back, in my opinion. Also this is tied with everyone powering up to insane levels - like now Kanae can regrow a head, a bit more and it'll become ridiculous. Everyone shouldn't be half-god strong, and the first TG was better with this balance, imo. |

Her regeneration is related to the cell wall Kanou discussed in the part 1  Just like the cell wall if the nutrient supply doesn't stop then she will continue to regenerate. We can assume the supplier is Eto based on the earlier chapters. |

It's just that everyone and their dog is SSS by now and few secondary stories really end, especially on the ghoul side. There's been a whole ark about Tsukiyama family. It seem to me that prior to it the readers were familiar with two members - Shu and Kanae. It is close to an end now, and it looks like both will remain. The ones dead were truly introduced and studied within the ark and died within the ark. True, the status of both did change, but there's no closure for their stories despite a lot of time spent. Ghouls rarely leave the plot. Even dead ones remain in forms of quinqes or kagune on experiments. |

| The guy basically ties in things from chapter 3 to things from chapter 52 and things from chapter 143 and even before with things that happen in chapter 53 and so on. The story is far from being disorganized. The only things he threw into a chapter and then basically left there was the rc cell scanner thing from chapter 20 in tg. |

Yeah, but he also basically writes the same story from another perspective with the same character through amnesia trope, while killing off (temporaly) the previous mc of this side. That's fun, but a lot of voluntarusm on the author's part is evident. And the doubles multiply. Kanae has the same problem as Mutsuki, for example. I also wonder about the scent. I remember ghouls identifying Kaneki as a half and as a female ghoul at the beginning. It is downplayed a bit. Ghouls bought into the Sasaki's squad desguise and, I believe, it's been implied that Shu didn't understand Kanae was female, right? (Though maybe under "not understanding" they simply meant that he didn't notice her love.) It also is mentioned rarely now. (Also aside from the scanners not used more often I also notice that CCG abandoned their riot gear for some reason. I mean they go in mainly in their suits lately.) |
| Kanae doesn't have the same problem as Mutsuki and i'm not sure that it's right calling that a problem. CCG never used riot gear with the exception of big raids. And now they usually just wear armor under their suits. And about the amnesia thing... it's not like the MC fell off the stairs hit his head and suddenly forgot everything. He was basically fucked in the head and it's obvious that it took a lot of time to make him basically forget his past... + next chapter is going to explain this further, it's not about him forgetting, but him wanting to live "a happy life". Ghouls do have stronger or weaker senses, just like Urie catches smells easier. I'm pretty sure that Nishiki called Kaneki a female ghoul just because he just came of the operation where he got the kakuhou transplanted in. No one ever identified Kaneki as a half ghoul because of smell. |

| Oh, plz, not this correcntess talk. Manga did reveal it in the last moments as sort of a twist, somethink that is hidden and leaks under duress. As for me - I am fine with whatever floats one's boat, so the revelation doesn't change much in my eyes. Yet both characters choose male appearance for empowerment - that's what I mean. But isn't the raid on Tsukiyama family big as hell? Not sure about armor under suits... Maybe, though I don't remember it said, nor see how it can fit. Yeah, there's a reason provided, but it still is really big stretch. As I said I see that it's fun, so why not, yet this is a very artificial development with many concessions made. So it doesn't give me much hope for natural developments further. As for the happy life (I looked through the spoilers) - yeah, that's why I don't get why ppl are so bent on seeing him under his old name. For him playing family on human side, while being encouraged by Arima, was obviously more comforable. He didn't have to kill his own food too. Hm, but anyways, quinx aren't even half-ghouls, their kagune are implanted quinques, how could they fool anyone with the smell for such things? |

Arima used threats? Btw i do not get how Kaneki lives as an investigator exactly. The reason he couldn't hide away from his ghoul self before was because he could no longer eat normal food and he had to eat flesh. So what do they feed him now? She seems more like she is just afraid of certain things due to bad experiences but she may very well accept what she is. Besides Mutsuki is a female and Sjws can get pissed all they like for us calling her a she. Biology isn't up to debate. She's a fucking female. |
