| Now this is a show with a fantastic setting. Good start,although a bit too much infodumping. I hope the female cast isn't full of fetishes. It has a lot of potential and the ED is nice aswell. |

| This was also a lot better than I was expecting. The main characters overconfidence bothers me a bit, but I just love fantasy settings. OP & ED are also quite good, looking forward to the next episodes. |

| This anime is already off to a pretty solid start. The animation was also pretty good as well. Only 1 cour though so hopefully it won't be rushed. If it keeps this up this could end up being a favorite this season |

| As a show that wasn't even on my plan to watch list for this season it exceeded my expectations greatly. Quite a good first episode especially considering all the dialogue in the middle. Hopefully it can continue to be as good as this episode was. |

Except that the original material isn't in an aztec setting, so that "easy to guess" part is actually coming to the good conclusion with wrong hypothesis to start with :p |

| A surprisingly good, seemingly well-paced opening episode for this series. The action is pretty cool, the characters seem pretty interesting and the premise itself is something that is definitely going to lead to lots of interesting possibilities. I'm not yet sure whether I like the OP or not, but the ED is pretty good. |

You would not need to "guess" in the novel because it is explained. |

| Okay that was something. I really enjoyed this first Episode, loved the fight scene and like how he's kind of a trickster in the fight and now just plain strong. Will be following this one for sure. |

| I had a look at the PV a while back and written it off as just another fantasy story with decent animation. But hindsight's 20/20, and it seems I'm wrong. Granted it's only the first episode but the character design to the fight scenes seems to be good quality. The pacing didn't feel off to me aside from the storytelling of the myth and legend (maybe they paraphrased it from the LN slightly). I love the link someone made on reddit that said the protag is like Soma. He has confidence but isn't that cocky. Definitely an unexpected gem this season, hopefully it doesn't let down. |

| It's nice to see a world inspired by South/Central American cultures, it feels fresh and there are enormous possibilities (at least concerning the lore, architecture and such). Love the art, especially telling the story using frescoes. In the end the quality of this series depends on the characters. So far they are not bad, but not especially good either. The princess seems fun, but the rabbit ears are a bad sign :D Adlet's fighting style is interesting, but he seems a bit bland, guess I'll wait for more backstory. Overall it was surprisingly good, looking forward to meeting the other heroes. |
| This has really caught my attention. Great way to end the first episode. Soundtrack was really nice and animation was actually pretty well done. This anime got me pumped up! Can't wait for next week. |
| I am probably going to drop this anime, lets give it 2 more episode trial. The MC design was great, I liked him. But the plot seems not really interesting, same for the princess. |

Don't worry about the plot. Not only it's original rather than cliché, but it's also the best thing there is about this title (which has a lot of good things but still~). Its plot probably blows out of the water all the plots from fantasy anime you've seen beforel. So rest assured, if the plot is your only worry about this show, you can continue with confidence. That part is extremely solid. |

| I'm hesitant to watch this because the LN isn't finished. So I'm concerned the anime can give any sort of real closure to the story within the 12 episodes (i.e., we find out who the imposter is). |
| Perhaps the best start I've seen so far of the few TV series Summer inspected. Both in terms of graphic storytelling, are compelling elements that make the story interesting. Intriguing characters, manage to stand out immediately both visually and character. Drawings and animations discrete, I hope that the Studio Passion does not give the hole in this production, the disappointment he had with his last soul is burning, I will not trust them until it is finished the TV series. Soundtrack pretty good. |

| The animation is probably the best part of this but I was still bored out of my mind watching it Main character is boring and doesn't stop talking about himself. I don't see how he can be the strongest when he uses petty tricks to defeat his opponents either. I'm not impressed with him so far. Well, it's only the first episode right now. I'm hoping it'll pick up as more episodes come out. Maybe if more characters are introduced I'll be more interested. |
| Amazing introduction. A setting like this leaves lots of room for word building so I'm pretty excited. Animation and art are beautiful, notably Adlet facing those two and Nashetania (?) breaking Adlet out of the prison. Really like Adlet's character, he's arrogant but not a complete douchebag. I also like his design, especially the hair. Nashetania is cute, really like her design as well and I really want to see her fighting style in action. 5/5 I'll definitely be anticipating this one throughout the season |

| I found this kinda bad honestly. I really don't like the character designs and the fiends look stupid. The fight was okay (it was mostly the rotoscoping that made it cool) I suppose. Gonna give it 3 episodes then most likely drop it. |

| The backstory about the world was pretty interesting and at least it is 6 people doing it instead of just 1 person. The main character's going to take a while to get used to though I could see him being strong enough to proof it. The OP is actually a nice song and not what I was expecting. Though I have one question: who did this show anyway? Because it looks really good. |
| From the 4 anime ive seen so far this season (ranpo kidan , gate and gangsta) this was the only episode that i felt was very good/amazing.The animation overall is great but what really stands out to me is the way the fight scenes are animated they didnt cut any corners like some anime do with the "moving backgrounds" to indicate movement and stuff like that. Overall great episode 8.5/10 |
| That's simply amazing. Everything was spot on. I enjoyed everything about it. One thing though, I am not sure about the 12 episodes count considering the scale of conflict presented here. Will it be enough? Or rushed? |
