That was sad. They took everything from her.

I'm interested if it is someone that is spy in CB and is controlling the other three Gundams. Wonder how this will change things.

"I will force that reasoning aside with my unreasonableness!"

Wow, Graham is really starting to grow on me. So badass.

And I always hated the Trinities. Nena deserves to be tortured and kill in the worst possible ways. Good luck to Setsuna for attempting to take out all three by himself.

I felt so sorry for Louise. I'm still teary eyed (just watched the episode a few moments ago). So sad.

Graham: a real (fictional) American hero. Now I know what people are talking about when they say "poor, poor Louise". I want to see some Trinity's asses kicked by the end of the season.

Hopefully, Setsuna kicks some ass next episode. Trinity needs to be taken down.

More importantly, the battle needs to get caught on camera so people realize that Trinity is different from the rest of the Gundams. Otherwise, Celestial Being's PR campaign is totally and irrevocably screwed, even if the Thrones get taken down.

Well my high hopes for the Trinity group were dashed, I probably wouldn't have cared that much if they did things like destroy that military compound because I was rationalizing it with the idea that they were actually bringing the world together (that seemed to be the idea earlier) by getting a common enemy to fight against.

After just meaninglessly attacking that wedding, they do have to be taken out. Great episode but I thought they turned then into the evil pilots really fast, especially after hearing nothing about then until they saved the other 4 gundams.

I was also very disappointed that Saji didn't really seem to try to comfort Louise and seemed mortified by her hand and then left her crying, obviously traumatic but his response to someone he loved was sad to me.

Anyway great episode and I've come to like Satsuna a little more, maybe he will be a less incompetent pilot.

Now paint your machine red and get yourself a mask Graham.
Take those fuckers down hard.

Saji and Louise are still the best part of this show. The groundwork. The civillians look towards the events taking place in the series. Something thats always been lacking in other Gundam series.

Setsuna just leveled up his character development

Undeniably, this is one great episode. 5/5

To have completely turned (real) public opinion against the Trinity faction in the span of one episode without feeling too rushed, that's masterful storytelling.

Another important element is the presence of a point of view from the innocent civilian side, which allows the viewer to see and feel the horrors of the conflict much closer than casualty counts ever will.

Louise's dreams were shattered in an instant. This sudden turn of events made me find the ending song sounding much more appropriate for the change in mood. Even if they're just side characters, I still wonder what's going to happen to Louise and Saji now? What about Setsuna? On to the next episode, past the cliffhanger!

Oh yeah. This was great. This development about Saji and Louise was a bit too fast, but still it was great! Finally, it feels like there is someone actually alive in these series, not only a bunch of soulless dolls killed by invincible mechas.

well ,
The dog was successfully raped , the Thrinity probably lost 75% of their supporters ,
My love for neena was hacked , but I may learn to forgive her , dunno .
Not that i really cared for Louise actually , but what Neena did is just plain....bad .
I never really liked Graham either , but after today's episode , how can anyone not like him ? Go Graham , take down those f*ckers !
I am also rooting for Setsuna who goes attack them in solo , let's hope he doesn't get his ass to much kicked , but the scene in which he attacks Thrinity is pretty badass , i must have seen this seen 10 times already , + 20 times the Graham scene .
I hope Saji doesn't become a pilot or something to take revenge....unless he dies on the front and Louise become the main antagonist for season 2 ? oh yeah now that would be badass .
I actually respected Graham from episode 1 onwards, he manages to actually put up a fight against weapons much more powerful than his flag and this episode just earned a lot of points from me because managing to just slice off an arm of one of the throne gundams is an accomplishment worthy of the Union Ace Pilot. He was never unlikable, he followed his orders and he knew when to retreat and he never once went too far in the midst of battle. He's honorable and treats each foe with the appropriate respect they deserve, he has a lot going for him and he it's rather endearing to watch him push himself to defeat the Gundams and he has a REAL reason to oppose them now even if it is more personal than rational.

Don't think so actually. As you could have seen their skills are not very good when it comes to piloting their Gundams (just check how he struggled when fighting with Graham); they rely too much on their technological advantages, as opposed to the older models, and I think this might come at a cost to them.

Yes I know its possible to kiss their ass but surely Setsuna in next episode won't be able to do so.
I think Setsuna and Graham are on two different levels though, because the leader of the UN did say that Setsuna does rely on his mech quite a bit.

And I think that Nena is lovely the way she is. I do not see a reason to love or hate character just because he/she is protagonist or antagonist, virtue- or evildoer, it's much more important to me how much consistent, well-balanced and lively character is, how good its personality is developed and if there is logic in its actions, even if it is twisted or evil logic

YES.

I know it's been said, but I'm in the feel-sorry-for-Louise-even-though-I-hate-her boat too. =P Though, is it just me, or did the 'Neena going psycho bitch' thing seem kind of sudden? I hadn't gotten that impression from the previous episodes; it seemed far more likely that Michael would go and randomly shoot things...not that any of them were particularly righteous, but still...

IMHO, all three of the Trinity are the same really. They won't care who died by their hands, just that they conveyed it in a different way. Nena take it as a game , Michael is a bit wild and Johann just don't care much

And now we see that Setsuna wasn't wrong about disliking her so much

this is a great episode it showed the real trinity's character ( though we still don't know the real target for celestial being )
setsuna really resembled "hero" from gundam wings in the last couple of min.
graham at long last was able to inflict damage to a gundam after 17 episodes of failures nevertheless a true badass like "zechs" from wings and "mu laflaga" from seed .

Nena is probably the most rage-inducing character I've come across in anime in a while, that assault on the marriage was just so shocking. The scene with Louise and Saji was really powerful, especially since they had always been so happy and carefree until now and it just contrasted to the comedy relief/lighthearted atmosphere they contributed to the series.

Can't wait to see Setsuna take on the Gundam Thrones. I wonder what their objective is. They're removing military bases and silencing anyone who gets too close to their secrets. I have a feeling they're helping to prepare for an even bigger plan.

Until now Louise and Saji had kind of been comic relief B-characters. But that scene with the ring...wow, that hit hard. Even harder than if they had killed her off. Saji is going to go full 'loco' in trying to get the Gundam's now. And when he finds out his roomie has one well....

Other than Nena going psycho in this episode the only other thing that really got to me was how fucking stupid Saji is. I mean he's lost parents to so he should at the very least realize that sometimes it helps just to have someone sit with you or even try to comfort you. But he just ups and leaves. Then again who doesn't at least ask a nurse or something how she is or if she can even have visitors before bursting into her room. I mean poor Louise is traumatized and he just barges on in and gives her a ring as if it was just any other day.

Well maybe it's just me but he could have handled that a hell of a lot better.

Hope Setsuna kicks those Trinity guys assess.

How the hell does Trinity care about "stopping war" if they're so sadistic they can take such joy in killing the way Michael and Nena do? Johann's attacking a weapon manufacturing company is justifiable, at least, but the other two are down right sadistic. That was an intensely awesome moment with Graham, at least.

And Louise... damn, I dunno how others here dislike her; the scenes with her and Saji are some of my favorite... and that was utterly terrible. I can't wait 'til Setsuna finds out what happened to her because of Nena, though it looks like he's pretty pissed at them as is.

As heroic as Setsuna may seem, attempting to solo tri-force it's an unmistakable fact that most of the gundam pilots are pretty shit and play pay-2-win, as evidenced by Graham's recent performance (and well, many of the previous battles). I don't see Setsuna doing too well here. Maybe it's even part of Veda's master plan to get Celestial Being to fuck itself manually.
At least Louise wasn't paralyzed for life lol. Or seeing Saji burst in and propose only to see two-face.

Did no one else feel that Nena's attack on the Harveys' wedding was a forced plot development? What was even going through her head? "Gee, effortlessly blowing up people all day sure is boring. I know, I'll go effortlessly blow up those people! that'll cure my boredom!" I'm also hard-pressed to believe that she thought a wedding would be more fun than flying around in a nigh-magical robot that can paint the sky red with the press of a button.

I mean, I get that she's probably traumatized by the attack, but you still have one hand at least; you can still wear the ring.
I mean I totally get it, I wouldn't even WANT this guy to come in with rings after all that, I'm just kinda eh about the reason she rejected the ring, you know what I mean? Like, you still have A hand. Like...??
I know, I know. Petty petty petty, but also feel nothing for any of these characters, so I also kinda don't care.

Actually, I guess this is about the time I should say that I'm not very fond of this show. Nothing has really grabbed my attention until the Trinity siblings came up. Everything else is really dull.
And then gosh darn it, everyone looks the same with the helmets on in their Gundam. Like, who are you people?? Why does everyone seem to have the same, blank personalities with a few exceptions. Like I get it but agh, it's just taxing.

As the series went on, I was waiting for this moment...the moment where Louise would probably get hurt, becoming a trigger for Saji :( Well, the trigger part is just a guess, I'm not sure if Saji really will become more important later on, as in, not just a regular citizen anymore. Maybe even Louise as well, she could possibly want to avenge her family. I almost teared up during the hospital scene. I really wasn't expecting Louise to become disabled. Then again, this is Gundam, I shouldn't be surprised ;_; But also, I do agree that Louise still has her right arm left to put the ring on so it's not the end of the world. I also understand that to some girls, putting the ring on the left hand is really important, which is probably why Louise didn't even think of her right hand. And ofc, it was just wrong timing because Saji didn't know, and there's no way Louise would've come to terms yet with her situation.

Nena is just terrible. It's hard to believe the Trinity actually care about eradicating war, when two characters love to fight and/or think of it as a game, while the third seems to also not have a moral compass given that he didn't even lecture Nena for her atrocious action. Maybe they do care about eradicating war, but they don't care about the reason for that goal, which is so that regular people can live in peace, so that no more innocent lives will be lost due to war.

Sumeragi did say in this episode that perhaps there's a traitor in Veda, giving information to the new Gundam Meisters' organization (Laguna?) in order to build GN particle technology. So perhaps they aren't actually part of Celestial Being, but believe they are. Either way, I definitely agree with Setsuna's conclusion that the Trinity "are guilty of promoting conflict." Go get 'em! But Setsuna is still too rash, going in by himself. Luckily he has other people who will come and save his ass.
