I'm confused, are you looking for that short or indicating where it once was?

looking for it, just giving proof that it was shown at one time

also neco TV shorts aired 10 years ago on neco TV, 3 of them were uploaded on youtube/nico but still missing 蛙と狐 (1949) and ポン助の腕比べ (1951), don't have much hope for those though

other than that hoping for better rips/dvd release of koneko films than the ones on nyaa

and trying to get this http://anido-e.ocnk.net/product/22 as well as Taku Furukawa films (takun films, takun films 2 DVDs on the same store)
but the store is not responding to emails and their international store is broken due to their paypal account being down (so payment cannot be sent), i am hoping that they are maintaining their japanese store and will actually send out the DVDs. i cannot find them anywhere else.

Haven't heard of the neco tv shorts till now, nothing I can help with.
Yikes, Anido is really dropping the ball. There's that post from June which had the same issue. I would definitely try sending a fax.

I forgot to mention the Konekos. I only know of a VHS version for sale in Japan and I assume that's the sheit quality which the ones from Nyaa are taken from. So it leaves us with no options globally unless who ever has the master tapes in Japan decides to re-release on DVD like the other BWs.

Googling "Atarashii Sekai Asian Kung-Fu" gives first result of the music video. Same with "anime tenchou" for the Anime Tenchou Movie.

I can be wrong but that one on youtube same as at nyaa is OVA

No DVDrips for Minna no Uta. I check once a month on PerfectDark in case some angel in Japan got them up. I swear if I ever win the lottery part of that is going towards buying all the Minna no Uta anthologies off Amazon.co.jp and ripping those fuckers myself. >:I

I got those entries flipped, whoops. :x
You won't ever find the movie as the forum explains. It aired on 1 day for 1 showing in 1 room in Japan. Unless you get a time machine, it's a dead entry. It's like the JoJo Phantom Blood movie except even niche-er.

Yep, both. Same event in 2 different cities which got their individual anime (which I assume was to entice people to go to both and buy tickets).

This is a RAW that's never been ripped. DVDs are available for sale in Japan so it's not totally lost like other relations.

Ah, alright. Maybe one day I'll buy them, and I'll be the one to rip them hehe. Are his other shorts in similar cases? I didn't search as hard, but I couldn't find any of them right away either.

Yup. His stuff is shown at film festivals and museums around the world so some people are lucky so see the works in person. Though it's right up anonymemoose's alley for ripping. They'd be the most likely group to so buy+rip them.

It's only available on the Gedai 2011 graduate student works compilation DVD. Which hasn't been ripped online. Not exactly a hot item since it's student work rather than "professional" work.

I guess it is ok to put this here. If not, sorry :P.

Probably a long shot, but does anyone have a list of english dubbed shorts?

If not, could anyone recommend me some english dubbed shorts. Genre does not matter.

Does anyone know if there is any existing copy of Seisho Gensou Fu: Adam to Eve (1951)? I'm really curious to watch it and it seems to have been devoured by history.

As of now, it is not available online. The short has been shown around the world at art/film museums. It includes Oofuji's Kemurigusa Monogatari short as well.

BakaBT has the best quality for Eng sub of that anime. It is a Happy Science commissioned anime for recruiting cult members. They've commissioned several full length movies too which I recommend watching on the "lol wut" factor. They'll tell you about the lizard people running the governments all over the world and in one of them Hitler shows up with a dinosaur-elephant that breathes fire who dukes it out with an Aztec shaman until a mecha Greek angel comes to fight him.

This is a bit longer than a short, but I just can't find it anywhere, except a russian site and watching it with an untalented slav trying to voice act over every character just made me want to hang myself by all available cables. So, does anyone know any reasonable place to watch Kyousou Giga 2011?

BakaBT has it as well. I think most streaming sites have confused the first ep of this http://myanimelist.net/anime/20723/Kyousou_Giga_TV_Recaps
with the one you want so it's all a jumble there. But at least BakaBT is concrete with CRC's matching. Especially for EveTaku's release because they subbed it in 2011 so it literally can't be any of the other ones since they weren't invented yet.

I ended up deleting my request, because a nice mod from one of the not-so-very-legal anime streaming sites re-uploaded it in all of its glory and it was spectacular.
I hadn't even noticed your reply, but thank you anyway!

I don't remember the title but I would like to watch it again...

Watched it on the official YouTube channel, I think it was short episodes in Japanese. I don't think the animation was very fluid.

Heroine in school uniform dropped something in the water and/or fell in herself found herself in a different place. She meets a bunch of handsome guys. At the end I think she falls in again and returns to her world. There may have been some kind of jewel involved. Setting seemed to be some lake with a temple or those old style buildings.

Might have been more comedy than romance. I don't remember enough...

Aside from her contribution to Fuyu no Hi and Believe in It, none of her works are available online. There was an official DVD but nobody has purchased it and ripped it online and it has been out of stock for many years.

IIRC it's still making the film/museum circuit so they want it to still be fresh (since folks who can see it online won't be as inclined to pay money to see it in person).

It depends on the artist but yeah! Maya Yonesho has some works like that with 10+ years still being used in museums. Some other animators end up becoming professors and don't want to release it to the public b/c they want to use it as teaching material and being 'fresh' gives them a stronger impact for their students.
