| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wow, Kakeru and Melon met Budoko's owner. It's pretty nice that this episode was full of action when the last episode was a real filler :') So interesting and it actually caught my intentition ! And I'm waiting for the last episode, what will happen to Melon and others ? |

| Tragic episode is tragic. Looks like they were keeping a low budget the last 10 eps so they could make this one. Najimi had some really nice, detailed scenes. Edit: w00t 600! |

| That was epic, it was a parody in the sense that it reminded you of some rpg game, with the orchestral music. Animation went up a notch certainly. Generally quite a interesting episode. I also was impressed by some of the lines of the mixed fruit juice akikan whilst staying serious e.g. those zeroes are my excess calories lol. |

| No one can have a problem with this episode, that includes you NoteDHero. How the fuck was that cliche? I have a problem with people overusing that word. What did you want them to do? It isn't meant to be a philosophical masterpiece... This episode defines brilliant. Excellent. Dramatic. Has set up the final episode really nicely. Great action scenes, excellent new character who looks like an evil version of Yuna from Maburaho lol. Even with Toradora, people are jumping on board the cliche bandwagon. Just shut up, it is a light hearted romantic comedy. Did I mention that I loved this episode? I honestly don't know why you have watched this series up until now NoteDHero. You have not said a good word about Akikan the entire time. As I stated in my review that was lost in the crash: Do not listen to the negative reviews of this show. They are done by people who have never enjoyed this genre of shounen romance anime. If you liked Dears and the like, you will love this series. The Drama is obviously used to progress the plot, which is great because they have pulled it off smoothly with this episode. I didn't expect it to be so good. |

| I thought this was a pretty good episode, although i like the more light hearted comedic appeal of the series rather then the serious tone, but they have to have some sort of plot obviously. depending on the finale, ill probably given it a 7 or 8, ive enjoyed this series alot, im assuming kakeru probably will end up breaking the zero curse on melon and we will get a happy ending, i cant think of any other ending really. |

| A few nice sight gags in this episode, my favorite was "EMO" juice. Which we got plenty of this episode. Not to say it wasn't still somewhat enjoyable. It's a good thing Kakeru's so good at child-grabbing. I'm hoping in vain for some badass Kabadi from Kakeru, but likely we'll just see the natural result of the Kakeru/Melon chemistry, which I have enjoyed more and more. |

| -Ok, so it just wasn't me thinking the animation seemed better. -I miss the flat out perversion that the show had more of in the beginning, not to say I didn't like the action. -Best joke for me was the Dragon Punch. -I guess Kakeru will fight to save Melon like he did for Najimi in the past. |

| Someone put story in this Akikan! The devious bastards. This show is still generic (aside from the original premise, which was a rather quirky idea). I can get a few cheap laughs out of it, but that's about it. Once it stopped with the straight-forward pervy humour, it just became the same as most other ecchi shows (Not that I have anything against the genre). Akikan! was prepared to go a little closer to the knuckle than others, but without that it does not stand out as much. I'll finish it though. I have seen worse. And it is not like I have anything better to do at the moment anyway. Sigh... |

| I actually somewhat enjoyed this episode. Sure, it was cliche and we all know how it will end, but I didn't expect anything but cliches from this series so it's not a dissappointment to me. The action scenes were done really well. It annoyed me how no one realized that the cans were under control except Kakeru. It just annoys me that the viewer is able to tell immediately, but they can't. I hate it when that happens in a series. |

A parody is meant to poke fun at or mock someone else's content, an author, or some other target by means of humorous, satiric or ironic imitation. With that said even though you didn't find it funny, I cracked up laughing when he was holding the can in the air yelling in such an over dramatic way. The "cliche" you saw was the satire and ironic imitation of the other romance drama anime shows you've probably seen. |

| The art in the episode was much better than previous episodes. Also the story was pretty intersesting as well. Nice idea of an Akikan that can have combined powers from other Akikans. Her voice sounds familiar... Where have I heard her before? Her character isn't on MAL. |
