| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I liked the race a lot. It's funny that the teacher took off his headset-thing right before he heard her name. We learn a bit more about the GGP in this episode, but still not as much as I'd like to know...and oh man, what an evil grin:  |

| Well, I was thinking during the race that Ogata may help Tamayo about the brother's attack.. haha, but instead her Balon had engine problems :P |

| hum.....naw i have bean whaching for over a year and i can work out what people are saying just by gesing and so on i can even speak a cople of words hear and there but i cant find a place to lern the hole thing were did you all go ? |

| Unfortunatly where i live i can't study Japanese in terms. Tryed E-learning but didn't went good. I can understand some of the words and phrases but no way i can understand a raw :P (maybe if its hentai...) |

It may be a better approach to try reading raw manga (with furigana) |

| I-Z have done episode 3. Was another great episode, im starting to hate the war, granted if the series was longer might not be so bad, but at 12 episodes the war might end up taking more screen time than the riding does, and i wanna see Rin on Fuego. Was a little gutted about the race, expecting her to win was pushing it, but getting 3rd or 4th would of been fine if was done right. Another good episode overall for me, shame its a week til the next one. |

| This was a very good episode, the animation is still great and the soundtrack fits perfectly to the mood and scenes of the series so far. As for the story, I bet Okakura is the japanese "war hero" about which the GGP people were talking about. Also from the looks of the preview it seems like the plot's about to become more serious. |
| Awesome episode. I thought Rin was going to catch up to Tamayo and win the race or something... but oh well. Got a bit annoyed as the race kept on getting interrupted by other scenes. The last scene where rin leap into the air on fuego was stunning. Next episode, the heat is on... |

| Blah, that was magnificent. I was really hoping for her to come in second and help take out those brothers =/ Alas, Balon just isn't Fuego. I've also got to echo the sentiments regarding the war versus the sport. I'm not too keen on the war side of the story yet, unless Rin somehow gets brought into it. It's just too confusing. It's also shame her brother didn't get to hear her name, haha. The race was excellently executed, as was the final jumping scene. I just can't get over how good this is. I can really only hope they keep it up, as waiting one week for this show is quickly nearing one of the most aggravating things I've ever put myself through. Not really sure where next week's episode is going to take us, it looks serious :s It definitely leads me to believe Okakura is that "war hero" that was brought up a few times. Maybe this'll be how Rin get's dragged into it? |

| I know like over hundred of Japanese words and some simple centers. I also know the hiraganas and couple of katakanas and kanjis. I can watch raws from some "easy" series like Shugo Chara! but this kind of anime which is little more difficult, I watch on subbed. I'm able to go on Japanese course so I'm still learning some more difficult centers and such. And I have learned pretty much from internet and from anime so just keep practicing ! The race was awesome ! I like the animationstyle and seiyuus are awesome aswell. And Haruki's face is so cute ! And Rin's personality is also nice ~ Definitely my favorite from winter 2009 season ♥ |

| Pretty nice race, didn't expect the engine to blow out. I agree with kvakond and megatron, didn't get that goosebumps moment watching this episode, but it was all good. I like how every episode they just throw random bits about the GGP story at you... |

| I just felt bored after 5 minutes and wondered why I still watch this. I don't like the characters. I don't like the subject of the anime. I don't like the plot overall. The direction and atmosphere are not unforgettable either, so why bother? I dropped it. |

Somewhere in the top5 isn't satisfactory either. This was the best way to go, as at this point her true potential isn't fully revealed (unlike in the case she finishes at x-th place), but we got some hints (your everyday rideback couldn't keep up with her, and she probably makes balance compensations beyond the level of the computer) my main problem was (as, if i remember right, someone already stated) that the race was interrupted every couple of seconds, plus it lacked scenes like the slalom from ep 1 or the famous ballet move from ep2. Scenes that make you want to jump out of your chair. |

| Yeah this is probably my top show for this season thanks in large part to episode 3. I loved the race and the post race scene with Rin was good as well. I am curious to learn more about the war and I should get my wish in episode 4. The previews suggests big things are going to happen around Rin and Co. I cannot wait to see this play out. |

| Mixed feelings on this one. Without a doubt, the episode was amazing. The adrenaline rush and still building up questions here and there. I am a little annoyed Rin didn't get to finish or come close to winning, but then again, I'm kinda glad it's not one of those shows where a rookie comes out of nowhere at the beginning and wins. It's kinda ironic though that the built in system actually under-performs in comparison to Rin's reaction time and balance. It's funny that she out-performs the vehicle and burns the engine. Oh well, hope to see more. |

| A good episode indeed. I'm glad Rin didn't pull out some supar hax and win the race. It would've been too cliche. I'm also guessing Okakura was the "war hero" or at least has some kind of tie to the GGP and the war. Looks like the two stories will finally merge next episode when the srs biz starts and what seems to be a terrorist attack? |

| This episode was amazing. I could care less about the whole government back story I just wanna see more racing and action! PS. If you want to learn Japanese fast check out http://www.youtube.com/user/bumnumba1 His teaching is a bit weird but it's very easy to pick things up. I learned more in 20 mins then I ever did trying to take a class or make sense of raw anime shows. |

| I found this to be rather interesting, which seems to be a rumor which regards to the current government.. As for the race itself.. Unfortunately, the Balon's capacity are not enough to be the Rideback of Ogata Rin, Tamayo's new recruit and for that reason, she lost the battle after jumping from the 23rd spot all the way to the 4th spot. What a pity.. |

Digging deeper, they say that the part they turned off was taking care of the balance of the Rideback, but since she was doing that instintivly and Fuego had that part turned off/missing, she thought the other ridebacks would be the same. For that reason she is better without the "estabilizer" than with it, since it clashes with her Balance instinct. You can check that when she thinks that the Balon's Control's are too stiff, in comparison to Fuego. |
