| this episode made me cry a lot wtf. all because of the things inoue said to her brother. i was expecting some cliche lines but for reason her reasoning - i was trying to show you that you didn't need to worry about me - caught me off guard. i forgot that i used to think bleach was really good. i remember now that i loved it up to its first arc (soul society). rewatching that with only a vague memory of everything. |

| The drawings of these first episodes really differ from the ones later on. Especially Inoue - she looks soooooooooo different at this point. But anyway, really good episode. Ichigo is doing great as a main character, Inoue is so cute, and the Hollow setting is getting more and more interesting. Flawless anime as to now. |

| Aww, that was sad. The ending did make me laugh though. Each time I watch an episode of this I assume nothing will top it, but it just keeps surprising me! On to the next one now :) |

| I really love the supernatural aspect of this episode. For most of the rest of the series, there's only spiritual beings and people who can see the spiritual beings. This episode does a great job of portraying what normal people would see vs. what is really going on. I suddenly thought of afro shinigami. I wanna see afro shinigami. |
| Awww, it was cute when Inoue hugged her brother. What a sweet episode! I'm glad she's not dead for reals!!!! It made me laugh what her memories got replaced with lol! Ichigo was awesome! <3 |

| I decided to read the manga alongside the anime and both have their strenghts handled some things slightly different. Certain situations, for instance Ichigo's entrance when he saved Inoue from her brother looked cooler in the manga(admittedly because it was a cliffhanger scene in the manga, thus it had to have more impact) Meanwhile the OST here really gave the farewell a nice touch. Comedy is pretty hilarious in both versions. Rukia killed me at the end. |

| didn't remember the shit of "walking on air" started this early. and only now rukia explains the purification of the slaying, should had explained it previous episode so ichigo won't have conscience about it |
