Each season has covered 40 chapters so far, and at this pace, the series will likely end in either season 4 or 5. Currently, there are 162 chapters, and it seems like the story will conclude soon. Consequently, there may not be enough material for a fifth season. Therefore, it's more likely that the series will end in season 4. To adapt the remaining chapters, the studio may opt for a longer season or a movie. Canon movies are popular these days, and considering the circumstances for a potential movie – the ending of the story and the show's popularity – it seems like a profitable idea. |

| @RobertBobert if the manga ends within 10 chapters, they can cram the remaining story in one 2-core season. Or they may do a season that is loonger than 13 eps but not full 2-core and adapt the final arc in a movie. Unless there is a Twist and the final will drag for another 20 chapters, 5 seasons is a bit of a stretch. |

| Have always expected there's going to be a season 3, but I'm just worried about the release date. With the announcement being this soon, it shouldn't be that far off right? Hope it's not longer than the gap between season 1 and 2. I'm so tempted to open the spoiler tags lol. But I'm glad to hear that season 3 is going to be Ruby's season, I've been wanting to see more of her |
