| More supernatural cases and we got a special police department taking them. Geez, this anime just wants to dive into the most unorthoox type of supernatural in the show. There's also a certain level of trust at play here and definitely captured a thrilling feeling of the cases. Bottom line is, there's a lot of dangerous individuals in this show. Polka knows it but seems like he isn't backing down from any challenge. |

| The Shinjuku police's Materials Compiling Group 3 a.k.a Comps-3, on the case of the Corpse God and everything else within it, they're on the right track that the criminal is always human, or in Corpse God's case, half-true. The Corpse God transferring Polka's soul to this shark, but it's missing some human vocal cords, but it's only something that necromancers like him are able to do...to acquire rocks of gemstones, that with a reality check from such things as jewelry, it's impossible. The Comps-3 team knowing how deep that Lisa's organization is behind this, and they need to be careful about revealing Polka and Misaki to them, which Polka draws first blood from the confrontation. The detective cop Arase Kouzaburou, someone that Takumi once worked with, he's a fearsome one to deal with, which Takumi tried played his cards carefully with him, and lost out on his mental fortitude against him. Even if Takumi failed, the Corpse God wlll not budge, and Misaki played hooky with Arase enough to escape from his clutches, which is a smart move. Despite Takumi's past that he will sell out his comrades just to live another day, the Corpse God is in empathy towards his situation and treats him just like any other friend. Though Comps-3 do have some mysterious and capable people, the lead Tsubaki Iwanome is the most common, and no thanks to both the Corpse God and Misaki walking into the dragon's den, which the group followed them in on Arase's lead. The thing is, though the Corpse God and Misaki could've escaped scot-free, the Lemmings character has to arrive all of a sudden. Action incoming... |

| This cliffhanger is driving me crazy. The set-up in an almost pitch-black surrounding with only Corpse Gods magic "infrared" view could ensure some really great fight scenes. And I like Arase's menacing vibe. Reminds me of Gin from Bleach. |
| This Lemming guy must live up to its hype that has been built up. Don't know whether polka will use his power in fron of everyone or not. |
| 😩 another really good Dead Mount Death Play episode that ends on a cliffhanger. They set up the police detectives as characters that’ll be enemies at the start and eventual allies. Lemmings and whoever is pulling his strings seems like the real antagonist. His abilities seem magical so I’m guessing he comes from Polka’s world? A lot of questions I can’t wait to see answered! |

| Polka really cares about his friend and that these two police guy are really crazy but the lemming is also coming and he changed everything about the supernatural thing in this show. |

Everyone is antagonist to someone as well as ally to someone else. Good guys go against good guys while bad guys mave save the day and it's all big mess you have to figure out yourself. |
| So yeah I'm not sure who Lemmings is but we'll find out soon enough. Also, not sure if Arase and his boss are good guys or not but it seems that in this show not everyone is as they seem, such as the Corpse God not exactly being the bad guy. For now many of the characters seem to be in a gray area. Anyways, I'm curious how this first encounter with the Lemmings guy plays out. |
| Probably the best episode yet. Yeah the animation wasn't amazing at some parts but it's good enough especially for the studio. Some of the shot framing was weird but overall it was good. Pacing also was a lot better than the episodes 1 and 2 and similar to episode 3 (no weird jumping around, every scene gets enough time etc.) Again they're continuing with their rule of 2 chapters per episode which makes me wonder how they plan to get to the arc the author alluded to they would. edit: looking at it again this episode seems to have been 3 chapters meaning with this episode it's the end of volume 1 and the novel chapter remains unadapted (which was to be expected since it won't be relevant for a long time.) |

| I knew from episode 3 that I would dislike Arase lolol. Lemmings finally appeared, the next episode is going to be exciting!!... Uh, hopefully? I haven't seen the manga yet lol. |

| I finally caught up! This series is seriously fascinating to watch. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
