| Memory erasure, drugging, keeping her in a dreamlike state or something along those lines I recon. Bird in a cage motive. Zodd does not seem to be on board with that so we'll see what happens there. Also look at that neck on Casca hahaha oh boy hope they fix this for the volume release. |

| I see some people in other places complain that this chapter feels incoherent or disjointed but that just goes to show that most Berserk readers lack intelligence and the ability to comprehend artistic choices. Casca is in a sort of trance state, barely being able to hold on to consciousness, and her memories seem to have been supressed (presumably by Griffith.) I really liked that the chapter feels like its messy, because that demonstrates how Casca is experiencing her surroundings. The chapter also seems to imply that some time has gone by since she was brought to Falconia. Pretty curious to see where the series goes next, and I'm pretty happy that we already have a date for the next release (26th of May.) |

| I like how surreal and dreamlike this chapter felt until casca woke up. This definitely feels like it would of been stretched a bit wider in mirua's original plan but I think you kind of just need to accept all this going foreword will feel like that. I just hope this leads to casca breaking free on her own rather than needing to be rescued, this feels like a really ample opportunity to do something introspective with her fully confronting what happened in the eclipse. |

| At long last, the hiatus is over. Casca is being held in a golden cage inside Falconia. She struggles so much to break free, but each time she is affected by some sort of magic putting her to sleep and messing up her memories. Very sad sight. It was awesome to see so many panels showing Falconia. I absolutely love this city's design. In my opinion it was the best looking chapter from Studio Gaga and Kouji Mori so far. |

| Casca is seemingly in a sedative state, and when she is aware she immediately tries to kick some guards in and flee towards guts. Definitely makes sense, and it definitely makes me pissed off even more at griffith. Hopefully she has some allies on the inside. |

| Are Casca's memories being influenced? I really like how she's fighting back but I feel like she's definitely in a dreamlike trance or something, which is why she's following random activities like playing with children or wearing dresses. What exactly does Griffith mean when he says 'the east'?? What's in the east again? Also, great to see Zodd in his non apostole form, though all Zodd is good ngl. Also, I'm not sure if he's just staying guard or if he just disagrees with Griffith, he doesn't look too happy |

I really doubt that, Griffith is basically a god, quite honestly I'm not even sure how Guts will face him and the new band of the Falcon without resorting to something like the Behelit, which is also contradictory since it would go against everything Guts has done until now. But dunno, Guts will have to power up somehow, and Casca is strong but just a human at the end of the day. Well, as for the chapter, I didn't like it that much, it doesn't feel like Berserk to me and the art is also weird, low effort I'd say. Now we wait, at least they already announced the next chapter. Anyway, what's the ''East'' Griffith is referring to? The band will act to conquer and expand the kingdom? That would be nice. |

| Feels like it's been forever (probably since it has been) since the last chapter but I honestly don't mind the wait now that it's here. Probably the best chapter since Gaga has taken over. |

| Quite interesting that Zodd doesn't seem to be on board with Griffith's choice there. Either that or am I reading too far into a simple expression of disgust. Now, dreamlike-manipulated Casca aside, am I supposed to know what "The East" means? Or is it just basic foreshadowing for where the story is going forward. |
