| Interesting start and Hyouma shows a lot of feelings with his character and personality. It seems this show does have some comedic moments despite the somewhat serious tone of the story. They introduced some characters although I'm curious how they'll flesh them out. We're also shown some of the supernatural talents of the cast. Hyouma himself is no pushover when it involves fighting although I see he needs some improvement. Oh and it's good to see Botan, the female protagonist that was advertise for the show. |

| This is DEFINITELY NOT the Monogatari that we are familiar with, but one fused with the supernatural. ARCANA PROJECT's OP sounds decent, as is TRUE's ED. It's for sure a unique show that has its manga running for almost a decade long (since its start in April 2014), with the marebito transforming into tsukumogami possessing different items, and it's up to these specialized people to seal the spirits. Especially to the serious boy Hyoma Kunato of the Saenome clan, his way of dealing with them is through brute force, which isn't what his grandfather Zohei taught him how to. And as a disciplinary effort, Zohei drives him out of the house to join this tsukumogami-human family hybrid as a guide to teach Hyoma how to live alongside them. As customary, Hyoma enters the Nagatsuki House, joining Master Botan the student, the house servants Haori and Kushige, and the 4 other tsukumogami (Kagami, Suzuki, Yu and Nagi). But his hatred for the beings that killed his close family, it fuses Nagi to fight against Hyoma for a minor quarrel, and when Botan is on her way home, everyone has to hold Hyoma down. What an unceremonious welcome for said MC character, and the skeptic's journey begins here. Interesting, will be keeping eyes on this. |

| This was actually really solid. Despite MC looking like an Eren rip off, story feels very fresh and the characters and their quirks got a good introduction in this first episode. Guessing we’ll have some romance and a softening of Hyoma’s hatred for Tsukumogani. Kinda reminded me of Kemono Jihen a bit too. |

| A little bit incoherent. He was supposed to be distrustful of tsukumogami, yet he wasn't checking his surroundings during the fight a let himself get knocked out but the others. Or he's still poorly trained. I'm not expecting to be looking forward to each episode but I'll stick with it for now. Half of pilots I've seen so far was ranging from below mediocre to plain awful, so not sucking seems to be enough to check out the next episode this season it seems. |

| Damm what a terrible sight to come home too. Pretty unique OP as well. From the visuals this kinda reminds me of other supernatural anime like Jujutsu kaisen and bleach. Though looks like part of the mc's development is learning to rely on others again. Man the coin spirit sure was tall. Its almost funny exorcists be public enties though. I don't think slamming one into a wall to create a hole of that size counts as using less violence lol. Forced relocation was a pretty interesting solution. The friendly tsukumogami though are quite the characters. Haori seems to be the calm mother type. Sometimes the best way to change someone's opinion is a good old fashioned slug against each other. The fight was pretty good matched step for step by the OST. Not the best of first encounters for Botan but one that would be the most unique yet. Overall a solid opening ep that had a fine balance of action and lore. Curious to see whether our mc would learn the value of bonds and trust from living with them. |

| Now then... It is bloody obvious how this series will go right from the getgo. It will be an "average" series, and depending on what comes next, it will be above or below average. What would be amazing, is something very different from the obvious plot. Drastic instead of mellow. If the MC "kills" every tsukumogami in that mansion, I will rate this series as one of the few stars in all of anime (there are many other stars but this'd be one of them). But this will not happen. Nothing even close to as drastic as this will happen. A character like that would be so strong in one's mind that their past would give them strength instead of weakness. |

| A decent start to the series. I like the premise and characters so far. The mc's powers seem cool and I'm interested in finding out why the tsukumogami like Botan in particular. My biggest complaints are the main character's design - let's be honest, he just looks like Eren - and the background art. I'm sure it's done on purpose but the grainy look to all the backgrounds just doesn't fit the characters or the time period imo. |

| Hyouma Kunato's siblings were killed by a tsukumogami and now he despises them. Fast forward some time his grandpa sent him to live with tsukumogamis. Average first episode. I really like how they layer the art style but the character visuals and animation just seems off. |

| Hayori needs to be more specific in her orders. They messed Hyoma up! I really like this. I've never seen tsukomogami depicted in human form. Should be interesting. |
| i was expecting this to be a 7 or 8/10 but this was unfortunately, average. i don't like the still background at all. disappointing start but hopefully this botan chick elevates next episode somehow. this ED song and visuals were both good tho. |

| I have to say, i went blind watching this and was not expecting this pretty much be a battle anime with Eren rip-off lol. The OP is ok pretty much action anime skin, the ED by TRUE was a surprise. But really guys 6.61 already???, i know that anime for now is not anything new, but it is not bad, the visual is good and i hope for some fun characters interactions too. |

| This first episode was ok, this anime is kind of in the middle for now. Hyouma was traumatized as a kid witnessing his brother and sister allegedly killed by a tsukumogami (I only say allegedly in case that monster turns out to be something else). I don't blame him for mistrusting the tsukumogamis but it appears that they're like humans whereas there good and evil ones so his grandfather has a point in that Hyouma shouldn't resort to violence right from the start. It also looks like each of those tsukumogamis has their own personality, kind of like humans so I do wonder if they were human souls or something, maybe we'll find out. I was not that impressed with this first episode as the storyline didn't grab my attention that much and Nagi rubbed me the wrong way but it is an introduction so hopefully it will improve as it goes on. |
| This could be a really fun watch, but it can also turn annoying really fast depending on how they do the interactions between the MC, the Tsukumogami, and the Botan girl. |

| I don’t get why people seem to dislike this, but it seems fine to me. Mc seems capable of handling himself. Hopefully it’ll be a decent watch going forward and not be something like Shinobi no Ittoki |
| The rating in this site isn't consistent and precise at all, but damn. 6.62 is just way too low, borderline unfair. I was expecting a horrible start with mediocre animation... The interaction between the three "parties" has potencial and the Eren rip-off (true for now) has cool abilities. |
| I'm definitely going to watch this show, but my mind can't get over the initial impression that without the supernatural elements MC is pretty much just a racist dude that blames all POC for the actions of a few. In a way it's similar to X-Men and other texts with storylines about discrimination because it kinda works as an analogy for racism but at the same time the meaning is diluted by the fact that these fictional beings can theoretically actually pose a bigger threat to humanity. But regardless, I'm interested on where this will go, so I'm definitely keeping my eye on this one. |

| I love these kinds of series. I'm getting strong Nurarihyon, Noragami and Kemono Jihen vibes. I also really like Botan's design and am interested in seeing more from her. However, at 12 episodes I think they're setting themselves up for failure. I will keep watching and hope for the best though. |
| This was kinda bad. From animation down to VA work as well it was just not good. The only promising VA's were Yuu and Hyoma |
