THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- What a lucky, going on a date with both Liscia and Aisha the same time. Kazuya and Aisha looked like scholars. I think this episode was a nice chance for Kazuya's group to get to know each other, particular Liscia and Aisha. Plus, they can all learn a little bit about each other. A pretty chill episode. |

Poor Aisha not being taken seriously because of her behaviour and she is trying so hard. And pretty much the only harem thing about this story was mentioned. Still i have to say that they were leaving some things out where where in both the novel and the manga most of it is minor which is usual in a anime adaption but i liked to see some of the things. |

I really like that the harem idea is introduced early but 5 episodes in and I feel like nothing has happened. There is so much source material but unless they have like 50 episodes this show might rush through the last 8 episodes |

Poncho's Shokugeki stunts continue...and on the menu, it's slimes. Pretty unthinkable for food that's treated like dough that can be made into noodles, realistic...? Of course, since Kazuya has some "history" with it, he's a good guinea pig for Liscia and the rest. And with that, ends the broadcast. Marx is stepping down? Just like the previous king who dethroned himself to give the place to Kazuya, the successor of his Prime Minister position falls to Hakuya. But don't ever think of quitting in front of the new king Kazuya. Hmm...Hakuya proposing a time-off break for Kazuya, and not without a plan too. Instead, the proposition for a date with Liscia and Aisha (for escort), Hakuya DID really thought things through, even if it's just for a day. I'd thought they were really cosplaying as students with their military unforms, seems like the school cosplay affair to avoid attention and learn about one another, together with the culture shock and clash that leaves Kazuya speechless. Oh no...Liscia and Aisha have realized that Kazuya can get nervous talking to pretty ladies like Juna, and Aisha loves to subvert her thoughts. To make things even worse, polygamy is accepted in their land, so anything goes for them, but Kazuya isn't OK with that. Wanna a harem Kazuya? That ain't so. Laid-back episode if I can infer best. |

The slime udon doesn't really look good to be honest, I mean eating a slime is so weird xD a date with Liscia and Aisha, that's sweet, but Aisha deserves to be treated better, and yeah that talk about polygamy... and of course he'll marry Aisha and Juna as well |

School uniforms on everyone look so good lol. Wasn’t expecting Liscia to be ok with EIGHT wives. I kinda am suspicious of that advisor who wants to step down. Something about him seems off, just his reaction when Kazuya called him wise. Could be overthinking it. Really solid episode tho, people saying nothing has happened yet clearly are not familiar with this series and how it’s paced. I think they’re doing fine. |

Damn.. those Gelins looked like slime from this world and they sure are hella weak. They're even eating them. LOL, and they look like Udon after some handling. Poncho did a good job there. Marx has given up on his position as Minister and his replacement is Hakuya. Liscia and Souma are going on a date around the town and Aisha is tagging along with them. They sure have interesting outfits. Well, it's for disguise. So, that works then. Pretty good episode. |

The cooking broadcast went over very well. Even better than Souma thought it would. People are actually using the recipes shown to help with the food shortage. Who knew you could make udon out of slime gelatin. Marx stepping down kinds sucks but at least Hakuya can fill that void. He seems like good help to Souma. A weird idea for Souma to take a day off, there's just so much to do, so much work left to get the nation back in a good position. I suppose leisure is needed occasionally, Souma can observe the citizens first hand to see how they're doing. Hakuya put some good spin on the idea with having Souma take Liscia out on a date. Aisha tagging along too is nice, a flower in each hand as Hakuya said. The conversation turning to polygamy made me tilt my head, I suppose in a sort of medieval fantasy setting securing ones house and bloodline would be important but damn. Polygamy is some messy business, every seen those sister wives reality tv shows they don't go well. But anyways, Liscia being ok with Souma having eight wives like holy hell, shes much more lenient than she lets on. Looks like some more main characters coming next episode with those people talking in the diner. |

Gelin... I would like to call it slime 0.0 Well how could everyone not seem to love slime noodles c: A date of three, glad to see that they are having a good time ??? Nice info. Long live polygamy, so you don't have to worry about choosing within a harem anymore ๐ |

Yes enough with the world building, it's time for harem building. Polygamy is allowed, Liscia is fine with him having 8 wives, Aisha and Juna are thinking about having threesome. We all know where this is going, so let's fucking go! |

So Gelin's are this worlds version of slimes then. Still neutralizing its core without destroying the body is quite the impressive feat. Noddle's formed from them though sure made for quite the unique dish. The display of combat skill via the bout sure was impressive. While Aisha has strength Liscia has speed. Using a date as a means to survey the kingdom sure was a novel idea. Still it's nice to see the three of them forge their first bonds as comrades outside the confines of the castle. Nice to see Juna catch on so well and ad lib that convo with Souma. Poor Aisha though being labelled a letdown by so many. To think that Polygamy will be legal here though. Though i guess i guess it does reduce the risk of your line being wiped out in one strike. Overall a calm ep as always that did a great job of concluding that food tasting show while expanding a little on the lore within the world. Looks like Liscia's feelings for Souma are developing nicely. Souma though is one lucky guy being able to go on a date with two beauty's. |

nice change of pace, doing something like going on a date for once. Although I am not sure how to feel about the harem yet - and the possible polygamy that would encourage it. Let's see how this develops and if Souma will only stay with Liscia |

Imagine going on a date with two pretty girls.. Liscia and Aisha. Well, Kazuya is enjoying his day for sure. Pretty calm and fun episode. We got some info again about the ''new'' world that Kazuya lives in. 8 days in a week, Polygam is allowed and more. One of the tags from the anime is Harem, so it will happen 100% Welp, I don't mind. They're all pretty women. The ending leaves off on another cliffhanger. Interesting. |

Nice to see that jealousy conveniently doesn't exist in this world. Can't have the harem behave like actual people with feelings after all. "8 wives? Sure, no problem!" How long has Liscia known him by this point, again? And she's totally cool with all this? Please, characters, behave like people, just once, I beg of you. |

You do realize that said characters live in a world where polygamy is considered normal (at least for the upper class), right? Liscia's main goal is to keep Souma on throne. Souma keeps saying he's going to hand the throne back to Liscia in a few years and peace out at this point. Part of the reason she's interested in keeping him on the thronewas cut from the anime during the date. There's more improvements going on in kingdom than what's been shown in the anime. |

Just because there's a textual reason for it doesn't change that fact. |

I guess I never expected a slime to be turned into udon noodles haha. First Hawthorn and now Souma, what a lack of culture of these anime characters! Aisha looked great in the uniform. Although I can see it being kind of a let down for them how what at first glance looked like a strong, gallant woman is really just a gluttonous, ordinary young girl who wants to get into Souma's bed lol. I loved Liscia's pigtails and glasses <3... although they reminded me of a certain hentai character. Harem ending let's go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love how Liscia has already put a limit on the number of wives she is willing to allow and how Aisha and Juna are already talking about it xD. |

Episode went by pretty quick, another really entertaining episode. Let's fucking go, that's as good as a confirmation that Souma will have 8 wives lmao. So right now it's pretty much 3 out of 8 with Liscia, Juna and Aisha. I thought slime like gelins would be resistant to physical attacks, didn't expect them to just die with a gust of wind lmao. Definitely did not expect them to turn into noodles. Aisha is probably my favorite so far, her personality is cute. I wonder what the deal with those people at the end are. I am guessing the man wants that polygamy action too but the woman doesn't want to. Looking forward to the next episode. |

Can you point out those"everything we have seen has implied" moments? Where and what episode does it show Liscia has fallen for Kazuya? That being said, I base my logic on simply the mindset of being pressured into a political marriage. Beginning of episode 3, Lischia directly stated that the country needs Souma and that if she becomes his fiance, it would anchor him in this world. That is reasoning enough for her to appeal to Souma's good side because from her perspective, the needs of her country comes first. If anything, from the first five episodes, I have not seen definitive proof that Liscia has fallen for Souma. Even on their date, they never even held hands or kissed. They seem more like they are in a CEO/Vice President type relationship where they are running a country. |

So Marx the former Prime Minister is acting quite suspicious, or at least that's what Souma thinks. If he is an antagonist of some sort I don't see what the use of stepping down from such a high position would be though. Also, glad to see this won't be another one of those harems where everyone gets jealous. Polygamy for the win |
