| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It looks like Siesta isn't the only character that needs Kimihiko's help. A girl named Nagisa also requests help from him with a case and it involves trying to find a specific person. The guy that attacked Siesta and Kimihiko from the first episode also made an unpleasant return. Nagisa seems like who isn't afraid to take risks even if she has to get her hands dirty. I find her chemistry with Kimihiko to be rather amusing really. |

| In the post world where "The Detective Is Already Dead", Kimizuka has to contend with Nagisa Natsunagi (whose first impressions was kinda weird to shove her hand into his mouth), who is looking for someone whom she has no idea of the person's description. All she knows that this person "X" donored to her a new heart from a heart transplant surgery that saved her life, and Kimizuka is forced to help his classmate Nagisa solve her case out of self-servitude. Meeting fellow policewoman and inspector Kase Fuubi out of a casual daylight robbery to enquire for some help, and landing at in a prison for the "big house" codename jargon. As expected, the one who hijacked the plane prior (Koumori) is locked behind prison bars with the tightest maximum security, and Kimizuka seeks the psuedohuman's help on Nagisa's case since SPES could very well be involved in some way or another. True enough, for Nagisa to emit the same effects like Siesta when attacked, more than memories alone, it looks as Nagisa is Siesta's reincarnation resemblance with the heart transplant surgery, and Kimizuka couldn't forget what happened with the time he spent with Siesta before her untimely death. Regardless, Kimizuka has to accept the facts to start movnig forward again, and his new detective role adds in not only Nagisa, but also attracts the chuunibyo-ish Yui Saikawa. Kimizuka is starting to have his Watson-like assistant journey turned upside down once again, and I'm stoked to look forward to more detective roleplay. |

| Together with her, they played an adventure drama for 3 years. 2nd heroine has joined the game, Natsunagi. Even though Natsunagi forced Kimihiko to do things by force, it seems that Kimihiko give up with her. Natsunagi asks about detectives, and the rumors say that Kimihiko is a detective. Even Natsunagi doesn't hesitate to hurt Uvula? Is that the organ in the mouth? I heard Natsunagi said (のどちんこ) hhmm... I thought it was male banana, lol. Despite doing dogeza, Kimihiko just gave up and accepted Natsunagi. In return, oppai hugs are obtained. Natsunagi saw the news article, it was a man who turned on a child, Natsunagi wanted to find someone. Natsunagi wanted to find someone but Natsunagi didn't know who was she looking for it, male or female the name anything, she didnt know. The heartbeat that you heard in the classroom, that's not me. Is this kind of Natsunagi is actually the person who received the heart donor. And yeah she was looking for X. They try to find the whereabouts of the donor heart and X. They go on a date, they meet Fuubi-san and they go to Komori prison. They talked to Komori and asked about the heart, Komori couldn't attack Natsunagi because Komori had been hit by Siesta's bullet, as a result Komori was hit by Siesta's curse. Since Siesta's heart resides in Natsunagi's body the curse also applies, meaning Natsunagi is Komori's master. It ended well and this was Saikawa's appearance.  |

Nonetheless thank God, the heavens had mercy on us this week and we were not forced to sit through another 40+ minutes of those god awful pretentious pseudo intellectual dialogues, but just a regular more bearable 20+ minutes full of pretentious pseudo intellectual dialogues. Dumb as a brick main everdude still acts as a dumb as a brick everdude but this time he dont shiver in excitement everytime a smug loli calls him a baka ... Previous season it was that Moriarty/Sherlock show, now this .. Japanese really do enjoy their pretentious shows lately don't they. Is there like a high school writing summer contest in progress now in Japan or something ? |

| Natsunagi really stuck her fingers in Kimizuka's mouth lmao. So Natsunagi got a heart transplant from someone, and it turns out that the person who donated the heart to Natsunagi is Siesta, damn it's kinda surprising. |

| New girl Nagisa appeared! The pacing seems a bit rushed though, finishing a major arc in one episode. We have another new girl again. The ending theme was great! |
| I was wondering why I didn't like the first episode until I was reminded about the tentacle... Meh episode, every time they try to give a plot twist, I like it less .-. |

| Hmm okay so the new girl has actually Siesta's heart so she share some similar feels and had to meet MC, well so far still nothing impressive at all, I'll wait to see how it will evolve, the eye patch girl at the end has a funny design xD I wonder what she needs |

| Surprising twist, but kinda eh episode. Not bad, but it wasn’t that entertaining either. First episode was better. I still don’t believe the fact that Siesta is truly dead, it’s way too weird. And why would she give her heart to that girl? Mmh Cute girl at the end! |
| Nice idea, bad execution. That "reveal" about heart could be a nice way to end a whole arc of searches, not single episode. As it is, it feels rather cheap. |

| The OP is alright. Nagisa was a bit weird in the beginning but it's fine overall. She grew up on me. Kimihiko looking for Nagisa's heart's owner and going to Koumori and asking him for his help and then finding out that it was Siesta's heart all along. It was a bit ridiculous but I don't mind it. A new eyepatch girl appeared in front of Kimihiko once again with her case. What's that gonna be? |

| Just finished watching. What the fuck is going on in this series? Everything is happening so fast I can't keep up. The twist is kinda interesting. Will continue watching for now. Animation is jarring if not worse than episode 1. |

| Rushed pacing and the focus on "Detective is fcking dead" doesn't feel real. I mean we already know that since the premise came out. Might as well drop it if it continues like this in further episodes. |

| "I pressed my chest against you, so everything is paid for." Yeah, right, a win-win tactics. How can you not dive into investigation after that. Hmmm, Fuubi is so nice to let our heroes sneak into guarded territory in the process of finding answers to the call of Nagisa's heart. Oh look, a familiar face from the first episode who is now serves as a blind prophet or sort of. And at the behest of fate, the heart of a white-haired detective beats in the schoolgirl's chest. Damn why I dropped tobacco smoking, a couple of puffs would be good right now. It's good they both spoke out their feelings in the tearjerker part but what Nagisa elects to do after that revelation? Oh wow, an energetic loli in kigurumi appears and she needs detective's help too! Does she also borrowed some part of Siesta's body or it is a coincedence? Damn, the more I know the more I realise I understand nothing and this unobtrusive feeling makes me intrigued. ED is cute and heartwarming, nice digestive food for thought. I'm fully into the series, its clumsiness and unknown potential are unique for my view. |

| I guess this was better than the first episode, I'm not particularly impressed but it was decent enough for me to consider giving it a few more episodes. Some of the drama felt very misplaced especially with Nagisa getting angry at Kimizuka towards the end. Felt too sudden to me to feel anything. I'm curious what happened to Siesta though. I'm loving Nagisa's design and Kase's is great too. If anything, this show has some very nice characters designs for the girls. xD |

| So if a girl approached the protagonist (who looked more like a robot in this episode) for having the heart of the siesta then this girl in the patch would have her eye? Interesting, but it seems a bit rushed...I'll pretend it makes sense for him to spend 3 years traveling the world as a detective assistant and still be a student. |
| So this whole time, Siesta's heart lives on inside Nagisa. I hope we eventually learn how that came to be. |

| It feels plain, I think that the studio is trying to make the watcher gets the emotion with what happened to Nagisa, but that didn't happen, at least to me. |
| The waifu aspect doesn't do it for me and sadly there's not much more going on. |

| After the full-blown action-packed 1 hour first episode, this ep was kinda meh. So 4 years have passed, Siesta died a year ago. The first case was about finding the person that Natsunagi "heart" is looking for which is Kimihiko himself, since the original heart owner is the dead detective herself, Siesta. Now another girl with another case, I wonder if it will be related to Siesta like this case or not. |
| I came here for mystery solving detective stuff but this is just so boring. When they met the guy from ep 1 I already guessed that it was Siesta's heart. |

| Another great episode, I hope we’ll eventually get more info about what exactly happened to siesta but it looks like she is dead dead since her heart’s been transplanted. Loved that little moment with Natsunagi and Kimi at the end there. I imagine anyone getting a life saving organ transplant from someone would feel that way. Probably a constant mental struggle. We had an existential crisis this episode, now we have a Chuunibyou for next week, should be fun. |
