| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- A possible vaccine cure for Gibia, well that was fast. Not sure about the doctor's ambitions to make both Sensui and Kenroku his guinea pigs, but it's for certain what I can tell. Maeda's loss the episode prior sure put some hurt in Kathleen's heart... A big-ass ugly-as-balls CGI spider Gibia monster that only both the samurai and ninja can fend off in true Edo fashion...the animation being more cheap and to the point of unbearable watch with more cinematic cuts than most. Kenroku still in his joking matter whilst the rest discussing about the implications of the pandemic. Dr. Yoshinaga's vaccine test is underway, and using a person as a guinea pig to test its effects, but instead, it turns people into Gibia monsters??? What...? Things are slowly getting interesting, but still boring as of now. |

| I just realised this shit is so ass they couldn’t even get anyone to do the OP, had to go with an in house instrumental lmao I just really want to know who the fuck greenlit this shit to be animated. Like who looked at the first ep and thought “fuck, this’ll be profitable” the gibia literally look like PowerPoint slides. The dialogue is ass, the story is slightly interesting but everything else is so bad you don’t even care. By far the worst anime I’ve ever watched. |

| Lol. And suddenly the super strong monk appeared. And other guy turned - trying to attack the doctor. Weird though that I always had the feel the doctor might turn out to be evil. (Just bad directing I guess ... that made it look that way when he actually will stay the good guy until the end. :D Or ... maybe he injected something to experiment? He turned the other guy in the monster maybe?) |

| Honestly, I find the plot & the ideas kinda interesting but shit, so many visual & sounds that basically kill off the show. The "Gibia boss" Meteora was absolutely horrible to discover and the monk's voice - again - didn't fit the character, nor did the tone or anything. At this point, those who keep watching Gibiate are either interested by the plot (my case), "never droppers viewers "or simply those who wanna laugh/badmouth a show that deserves high criticism. About the episode itself... well they intended to give us some suspicions about the doctor, which were almost confirmed at the very end. |

| It feels like a low budget anime where 1990s style was mixed with 2020 in an awful way. I honestly have to give them props, because I understand what they were trying to achieve... it end results are just not that good. So many things are all over the place. With every scene I feel like the doc is about to betray someone and become the main villain. I like the story though, it is just the execution that is god awful. |

| A bit better than before. Thanks for having less battle of awful CGI on these episode. Also, that huge monk had an amusing personality, i guessed, together with that stylish shinobi. So it improved a lot with my satisfaction. However, the plot still worse with bad direction, and the dubbing dept. had a missed momentum in addition some failure. The reason of Brian's changed into a Gibia was also funny. Like the heck was happening to him? I felt very bad with him, and his soldier. At the end, nothing happened that just only a requirement to introduced a new character and dying off the other man. |

| I guess the party has a max headcount cap since one new character entered, one character has to die. I knew the soldier was dead the moment he was hurt (damn, that Gibiate sting can be form of damage) and when he said "When this ends..." I said "yup, that's a death flag, for sure". |

| This series has me laughing so hard that I feel so paralyzed when I do it. I can't be bothered to think "too much" about the plot and stuff. Now, I mostly just watch this to laugh and see what absurd direction it goes. I'm telling you, you can't make this up... |

| Pretty decent episode. I like the warrior monk, he’ll be a good addition. Most of the monsters look pretty cool. |
