However, he didn't watch his blindspot carefully from behind... Brain showing off his swordsmanship skills is impressive. I bet Climb can learn a lot from him. A drunk Brain though...lol That cliffhanger gave me chills. Renner might not be as pure as she looks. |

| And here I was, actually enjoying the last few episodes, thinking that slowly the anime was going back to focus on the characters that people actually care about, yet here comes this episode. Overlord II is a joke. Very disappointed. |

| As excited as I am about Ainz coming back to chat with Sebas, I'm more excited for yandere Renner to get some screentime. I do wish we could fit more progression into each episode but seeing these arcs animated is still a fun ride. |

| I thought we got to see more of intimidating Sebas. too bad it's just his weakling. but, I guess we'll get it soon enough. I can't wait to see Sebas or someone from Nazarick beat those Six Arm ass. and we didn't even get to see Ainz this time. |

| Assault on the brothel! Well I hoped for more from Sebas, but killing that fatty was fun, and I assume he'll be doing more against Zero and his crew. I'm not really worried about his meeting with Ainz. In the meantime our primary focus was on Climb and Brain. Climb performed about as well as he's been built to against Succulent. Good, but ultimately not good enough. He'd have been screwed without Brain's help. There's a nice little relationship building on that front. Wonder if that'll continue. Meanwhile I might have been too hasty in my declaration of his devotion to Princess Renner being Climb's doom last week. Or maybe I should say I still think that it will be, but no longer in the same sense. Until now I just assumed she was using him as a disposable meat shield, but this week it seems like she's almost got a yandere-esque attachment to him, planning to kill anyone who speaks ill of him. Now if this is because she thinks he's more talented than he is and will turn on him after seeing him struggle in a fight, or if it's due to some other reason I can't really yet say. The girl's crazy in any event, and I do hope he eventually realizes this and escapes her clutches without meeting a bad end, but we'll see. |

| Kinda disappointed after all the buildup. Was hoping to see more of sebas. Ainz has come to talk with sebas but apparently that is open for the next ep. Very mediocre episode. after the waste of time in form of the lizardmen they now focus to much on the boy. Its like a spin off. I get that they have to set up the story and stuff but that does not make it any better. After 2 episodes of buildup I feel blueballed right now. Hope they get back on the roots of season 1 soon Atleast renner seems to be a yandere so thats a plus. |

| I actually disagree with the popular sentiment that Overlord is boring because it's too slow. Overlord is boring because it's too fast to care about anyone or anything unless you are already invested in them from reading the source material or it involves the characters with enough screentime in season 1. You could do a lot with 13 episodes, 4-5 lizard protagonists, and a tribal setting not commonly explored in fiction. Cream_Soda said: Where are we at in the light novel? I checked skythewood. Volume 5, some 2/3 of Chapter 5. If you want to read ahead, I don't recommend the fan translations. The amount of -sama, -kun, fumu, and umu retained will make you want to kill people and shove the concept of dynamic equivalence down their cold corpse so that they'll learn. | I wasn't sure if I liked the yandere Renner shot in the ED before... but the way they handled that cut at the end of this episode was perfect, totally worth it. And for everyone complaining that there's no Ainz and Sebas hasn't done as much awesome stuff as they'd like... chill out and just keep watching, we're almost there. | This episode was a little better (in terms of adaptation) than the previous episodes of this arc. They still skipped a few scenes, but we can definetely see that they spent more time on this episode. Hope they keep this quality (or even improve further) on the rest of the arc. |

| Nice that they animated the fat bastard beating the woman to death, sebas was supposed to destroy his organs and make him suffer to death but this works too :) Climb with the perseverance and Renner doing her own ploys. Sebas gets judged next ep. |

If a movie started the first 1/4 of the movie as an action movie then switched to a drama movie the rest of the way through, would you not have the same thoughts? World building doesn't matter at all if you don't have enough time to flesh out anything of worth. Yeah it'd be worth fleshing out all the lizardmen and Climb and Brain if there were 80 episodes a season, but when they are moving through content 1 chapter per 4 episodes, shits gonna get left out for sure. All in all, it doesn't have to be all about Ainz, but don't waste your time fleshing out shit characters and loose threads in your story. Lol, it's not the author's fault that the anime only has 13 episodes per season. According to the LN readers, things are indeed fleshed out and a lot of characters are used again in the future. |
| Sebas beating that bastard was superb. He shows up, his mere presence makes the guy tremble as he knows that Sebas is a monster of a warrior. He finds himself powerless, as Sebas beats him, just as he was beating that woman earlier... it's so satisfying because he thought he was the predator, and next moment he was but a bug in the path of a truly powerful being. _______ Climb put up a good fight, he knew he couldn't win against Succulent, so he didn't make bad moves, he knew he had to endure until Brain or Sebas came. Also, it was so funny when Brain couldn't notice Sebas's presence, when a moment before Brain said that his skills allow him to detect invisible enemies. ___________ Next chapter, hope we see more of Yandere Princess....and Sebas's Trial before Momonga. |

| Pretty good episode. It was really satisfying to see Sebas beat that fat dude. Climb ran into some trouble again Succulent but he is held own for long enough so Brain could take him down. So the princess is a vampire? The teeth seem to suggest it. |

| The ending transition was cool. The episode was meh though. Was hoping to see more Sebas. Were all those maid outfits that Climb found suppose to represent something related towards the princess killing off her maids and getting new ones from the brothels or something? They were the exact same maid outfits hers had at the end. |
