DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Finally! the battle of the sadist has begun! this is one of my favorite arcs! one of the most awaited battle in Gintama history! who shall prevail!? anyways watching that sword stuck on his ass was more uncomfortable animated than it was in the manga. |

| Great episode again. Shinpachi with the classic Gin-saaan shout at the beginning cracked me up. XD It's Sogo's scabbard, of all things, it was Sogo's scabbard. XD The sword pulling along with Kondo and Hijikata's reactions were gold. Them sword and scabbard motions. XDD I love how Gin-san provoked the Shinsengumi into the duel, epic burns. Kagura's yelling was hilarious. XD I knew the sword was gonna break the moment they started playing the epic music. :3 |

| although i was very uncomfortsble the whole time the sword was the wrong angle up while standing i enjoyed the parts when it was out more because i wasnt disturbed by the wrong physics. for some reason i think the studio is slacking this time around. |

| This time on Kintoki no bouken: Sword gets stuck in Kintoki's ass hole, sword is alive, sword wants to bust a nut in wife wife is taken by Sogo, wife don't want him no more because too weak, sword gets depressed, sword gets stuck deaper in Kintoki's ass, sword gets cheered up by telling him they can make him stronger, leaves ass hole, go to smithy to make him stronger, breakes from blacksmith's first hit. mfw |
| Poor Gintoki dealing with a sword in his ass for pretty much the whole episode. Looks like the sword's wife is Sougo's scabbard, and now Gintoki has to fight him to get it back. This episode was hilarious all around, from the innuendos, to the part where Sougo pulled Kusanagi out of Gintoki's ass, to Kagura's yelling, as well as the final scene where Kusanagi broke. |

With 2/6 chapters adapted from this arc, I'm assuming that this arc will go on for three episodes, even though the final two chapters have a bit less dialogue. Or maybe another arc could start near the end of the third episode of this arc. 5/5 |

 A shitty situation... It was kind of remarkable how deep the sword managed to bore itself after its scabbard turned it down. Too bad for Gintoki's intestines, though. I am definitely looking forward to seeing more of the adventures of a useless alien sword and its unlucky human scabbard. I completely lost it when the sword broke as it was being reforged. |

| i laughed so much! oh my god the innuendos ✕D i don't think this will be 3 episodes.. 2.5 maybe? hope their fight gets well animated. faces were different again this episode..i hope we won't have such issue in silver soul arc. is something wrong with my computer or there were a couple of times were animation and sound didn't match? like in the end when gintoki turns his head? this is the only arc i've read in the manga first. wish i hadn't. would've been way funnier! |

I am re watching Gintama from the start and comparing to old seasons to this season there is a big difference if it comes to animation. As for this episode: It was pretty boring, I think Gintama( at least for me) started to go downhill since they introduced Utsuro. |

Chronologically wise the manga of this episode was published way before Utsuro appeared. The animation is probably as good as Gintama 2015, with a lot more motion too. |

Chapters 424 and 425 (the ones this episode adapted) in the manga were released in 2012. Utsuro appeared for the first time at the end of chapter 541 (released in 2015). Just compare them with the end of 2015. Watch it without sound you'll be able to judge better. And it didn't have much comedy. So yeah i agree with you, but i think it will be better next season. I think i once read somewhere that gintama cast love this show, and there are mostly the same people working on gintama, so i think they will probably do their best.. |

And animation wise for me it started going downhill , heck even this season comedy wise is boring compared to first season of Gintama (before it went wide screen) .As for animation I can give you few examples.
