Another thrilling episode. I feel like this one really got the feel of a fantasy war with a lot of mystical creatures gathered together. The devil's army really is a force to be feared.

Then there's the rebel army that also enters the conflict.

I think this episode really bought forth what the reality of war is like. Loved the music they used as well. Wonderful. One of my favorite episodes so far from this series. Rita's undead powers are also quite something. Zombie army :D

I swear they better not kill Kaisar off for good. It's like the new writer has something against all of the Genesis cast with they way all of them are treated in Virgin Soul. At the very least Alessand got what was coming to him.

Honestly at this point it just feels like the new writer hates the old cast from Genesis with the way they've been treated. So disappointing.

I've skimmed through it and it's depressing, like a tranwreck, but not in a good or even funny way, I don't even want to watch it properly.

Lucifer arriving all high and mighty is just... well, demons. He let his people to be enslaved, and now they welcome him as a hero. Power is effortless for him and his brother, and I can't possibly root for them against the poor black soldiers.

Charioce doesn't behave as a human at all at this point. No one can be that unsanely static, when he is under attack and he is the center of the plan he and his people have scarificed so much to. Dude, you should've had more security, now move to the side of the strike at least. Make some effort.

They overdid the scum levels with Alessand. And saint levels with Kaisar, damn.

Not liking this. Favaro is the only one who is done well. Love his one-word loaded answers to Nina. You can see he feels for her, but he can't change people's hearts and knows it.

The action scenes is pretty good. Alessand is dead, which is good. The last part where Kaisar jump in feel dumb. If he die, he die a stupid death.
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion.

Alessand's death gave me no satisfaction. That was just weird execution.

Why did Kaisar do that? I agree with Rita, he's an actual idiot protecting Charioce.

The only good thing i can take from this episode is the Rita/Kaisar scene, that was hilarious and the Onyx soldier giving it his all to die for the cause since he has good reason to do, i felt for him more than i felt for Kaisar.

Alessand kept running from taking responsibility. No surprise there. I felt sorry for his friend that watched him die. Kaisar was pretty useless throughout the whole show, and you can't really argue with me there because it's true. Although, I didn't want him to sacrifice himself like that - even if it was needed. I like this season way more than season 1. Everything looks amazing, and all (or most) of the characters got developed in some way, so it feels very satisfying to watch it come to an end.

Why Kaisar, why? With such an injury, I don't see how he will comeback unless a miracle happens.

Alessand is finally dead. The moment he tried to kill his friend, I lost all sympathy for him.

I do not care about Alessand at all that is own doing and karma. As for Kaiser, I can understand his reasoning. He is an idiot, but I guess he just wanted to stop Jeanne and Azazel to let their hate be so consumed without asking certain questions. But after all the 'hell' that Jeanne and Azazel went through I guess reasoning cannot reach them until the Bahamut shows up on them. But yeah Kaiser was stupid on this one but at least maybe he gave Charioce a chance to kill the Bahamut once and for all possibly. Who knows.

Alessand had it coming, but the whole scenario was kinda strange imo. Kaisars sacrifice felt also kinda random,as if they didn't know what to do with him anymore..this was probably the easiest manner to get him out of the way.

Aside from that I liked the tense atmosphere of the episode and Ritas zombie escalator had me crack up there.

One episode to go,kinda sad,but I hope for an epic final.

Kaisar was an idiot last season, but at least he was funny. Here, he's just an idiot. Full stop.

This series started well, but then they removed all the humour and contagious energy that the first season had, and made this horrible mess.

Alessand died a pathetic death, quite fitting for such a pathetic piece of shit person. In fact, his entire final scene was hilariously pitiful. Lol at his last words, "I don't want to die." Well, don't murder a child or try to kill Dias and you just might survive.

Why did Kaisar sacrifice himself? Did they just not know how to use him at this point so they killed him off? I want to feel sad, but at the same time I feel like his death was too stupid for me to be sad about. If no miracles happen and he really is dead, then what a crappy way to go. Then again, maybe Rita could do what she did in this episode and revive him, and hopefully he would still be sane and not a mindless puppet like the zombies in this episode were.

If they have really killed Kaisar (since there is still the possibility that he might recover magically or that Rita zombifies him without making him a mindless puppet, etc.), then what a lame way to kill him. Even the deaths of Alessand and the Onyx Knight leader were better, but, well, considering Kaisar's role this season and the trainwreck it has became, I won't be surprised.

Maybe you should have left when those nameless knights were sacrificing their lives to buy you some time, just saying...

Virgin Soul continues defying expectations in a negative way. Every week i tell myself this can't possibly get worse, and every week i'm proven wrong.

Alessand's death is just stupid, what even was that supposed to be? If it was repentance for his sins, maybe he shouldn't have stabbed Dias literally seconds before his death.

Nina's fixation on Charioce is really unsettling. Maybe she should fall in love with the random old man that acts as Charioce's voice (did his VA quit or something?) after the king dies. Oh wait, he's not a hot bishounen.

Kaisar's exchange with his former troops (no shit he harbors traitorous intents, he's been imprisoned and plotting against the king since episode 8) and nonsensical sacrifice is ridiculous. Special mention to Favaro's VA who sounded like he couldn't care less even when Kaisar got fatally injured.

Foreshadow Mugaro's resurrection, bring Amira back, just mix everything in. To sum it all up, every single thing in this episode was complete and utter TRASH.

Mappa should play the 1st opening in the final episode. Let it end, let it end, let it end...

Awesome episode, except for the fact that Kaisar could be dead for jumping in front of Charioce. Like what Rita said, what a stupid idiot. That came out of nowhere so I had no emotions when that happened. The action was very good though. Alessand got what came for him. He got killed by a demon kid. It was amusing watching Kaisar surfing on zombies.

Why is everyone trying to save the King? Literally Kaisers death is pointless.

How many others have to die for King Genocide? I also can't help but feel the whole war would have been avoided if Charioce actually spoke to the other races about why he intended to do. I've given up trying to make sense of it.

If you really think mappa is trying to make Azazel and Jeanne look like bad guys then… you’re not getting the story?

We know both characters want vengeance for Mugaro. The rebellion has a good reason but it happened in the wrong time. Like what Favaro said, Charioce didn’t want to start a war with the gods in a time like this, but everything clashed at the same time, the rebellion and Bahamut, that’s why the events are getting messy. No one and everyone is at fault here, morally grey characters remember? you’re supposed to have mixed feelings about them.

Kaisar is a selfless man that doesn’t want bloodshed. I kind of expected he might die this season because of how he wants all three races to live together in peace and it’s always the good guys like Kaisar who end up dying fast.

I am not surprised that Kaisar wanted to protect Charioce he was always loyal to him. No once he hinted or said that he wanted Charioce dead. Sure he was against his ways, but that didn’t mean Charioce should die. He believes that all three races should cooperate and not kill one another.

Kaisar is one of my favorite characters in this show and seeing him die traumatized me. I couldn’t process what happened in this entire episode. His death will make all 3 of them: Charioce, Jeanne, Azazel realize that bloodshed won’t bring any results or achieve whatever they aim for or something like that I still can’t think clearly XD

No one is at fault here since this is a morally grey war.

Alessand's death was pathetic, he should've been killed by Dias but instead he gets killed by a demon child because karma. And I guess this episode answered the question of how much of an idiot Kaisar can be.

Kaisar's death was pretty much pointless because the last thing we needed at this point was a main character getting killed, specially with Bahamut knocking at the door. With the immediacy of having to deal with Bahamut, his death will take a back seat and will only be touched upon after everything is resolved, that is if he stays dead bceause Rita is there. And Nina desperately shouting at Jeanne and Azazel to not kill Charioce was so fucking ridiculous.

I guess at the end Dromos will end up destroying Bahamut, otherwise everyone dies, so that's one doubt cleared. I just hope the writer don't pull some bullshit like Charioce going down in history as the saviour of the world who killed Bahamut, since it were his actions that plunged the world into chaos.

That awkward moment when they spend more time and drama on Alessand's death than on Kaisar's. Like wtf?!?
Maybe Rita will turn him into a zombie lmao

Anyway, Kaisar has really annoyed me this season, so I don't really care if he dies. All he seems to do is try to white knight his way through everything, it's grating. -_-

So long as Azazel and Favaro don't die, we're cool!

I'm kind of worried about MAPPA being able to wrap everything up in just one episode. There are too many loose ends for it not to feel rushed, and a lot of characters to sieve through. I mean, you'd probably need a full episode on all the individual character epilogues...unless they just plan on killing everyone off.

Tbh they just wasted may too much time meandering in the middle of the series, but I'm looking forward to the conclusion nonetheless!

First and foremost, the sniveling, conniving, fucboi Alessand got off easy imo. Too bad that Jean and Azazel didn't have the opportunity to do to him what they accidentally did to Kaisar.

Also, continuing off of what myself and many other people discussed in last weeks episode discussion. I still think it was unwise to antagonize not only the other races, but even humans to the point where any of these groups could cause your top secret plan to go to shit. Groups that could be extremely helpful in this plan, and would probably be more than willing to help you since they would also be effected. What an absolutely awful plan, and what a poor attempt to make "King Uncooperative" seem like a great person.

Favaro, Rita, Bacchus, and maybe Mugaro, are the only people in this entire season that I can respect morality wise.

I'm not attacking the show, but this was an extremely morbid and down right depressing season. Perhaps this is meant to represent the pointlessness and despair of many wars, if so it's done a great job.

I don't feel like I should have to say anything about ANY demon, including Azazel, think back to the last season and the way people act like we should feel sorry for them is crazy, child slaves or not. If demon's had the power, the reverse would be done without a second thought.

The gods have always been pompous and mainly unhelpful.

Kaisar and his two knights, complete morons. One of course betrayed everyone for power and fame, so add treachery and cowardice to the moronic Alessand.

Chris' sadism with the demon torture and gladiator fights seems unnecessary. I mean I get wiping demons out so they aren't in the way or anything, but torture just seems cruel. Worse of all, is his lack of conviction despite going down this path. Fine, do all this sick stuff to defeat Bahamut, but don't waste your Onyx soldiers time making them chase after Nina while you go around dancing with her and could of had her taken care of ten thousand ways, especially since using their powers chasing Nina was hurting them and wasting their life span!

Jeanne d'Arc's child dying is sad, and her long time imprisonment unfortunate. This does not excuse her actions, how many civilians died because of her raid with the angels? Judging by the amount of bodies Rita was able to get, I'd say many. I use to like her a lot, but this coupled with already questionable disloyalty to the human race, puts her in a dark grey area for me because her one track mindset and over looking the bad ways of the angels disturbs me. Plus, judging from last season, if Chris was an angel and had done everything human Chris did, she'd be one of his loyal soldiers, and thus she's fine with killing people who are much like her in all the knights she murdering.

Nina allows her hormones cloud her judgement, she may not turn into a dragon anymore because of it, I get love, but once it gets to the point that you'll betray and undermine anyone and everyone because of it disregarding any sense of justice or loyalty to your team, then you're just a bad person.

Mugaro sympathizes with the demons, but I could excuse this to be out of ignorance and not knowing Azazel's true nature. Azazel only helped out Mugaro because he was a fellow victim of humans, if the demons were on top the demons of did terrible things to a angel human hybrid. Still, him being so chummy with demons makes me meh to him.

My only hope is that Favaro gets Amira back, Rita is able to have Kaisar be himself as a zombie because he never had a brain to begin with, and the angels & demons genocide each other into oblivion.

This show has been a train wreck for quite a while now, but even last week's dumb bottom of the barrel antics have been surpassed by this weeks. What exactly are the writers trying to do? Completely shit on this series so that it never sees the light of day ever again?

Alessand's death, as deserved as it was, did nothing for the story. He died with a knife to the stomach by some minor demon kid, after trying to gut Dias himself. It was a pretty fitting death, to die as a nobody by the hands of a nobody, in some back alley gutter. What pissed me off was how he managed to take the entire Orlean's Knights down along with him. Do these guys have no brain cells at all? Can they not see how pathetically shit his leadership was? Did they not question the orders they were given? And why are they even still defending him when they watch the sorry pussy run away with his tail between his legs? There's so many things wrong with this order when nobody is intelligent enough to do anything other than follow dumb orders, and all that I blame Kaiser for.

Kaiser's death was dumb as fook as well. What the heck was he trying to prove by jumping in between two sides aiming to kill each other? Did he really expect himself to survive after that?

And as for Charioce, I see absolutely no evidence that his side has the power, let alone the ability, to do what they set out to do. The fact that he hasn't fired one single shot at Bahamut and has been struggling to contain the Human-Demon-God rebellion is indicative that his plan, or the plan of the old man behind him, is pretty much a sham. The fact that he unleashed Bahamut onto the world without a proper backup plan.... my god this dude is dumb as fook.

And what's with Jeanne and Azazel even bothering to confront Charioce on the ship deck? They were doing so well with long range attacks, they should've just incinerated the ship deck, along with Charioce's sorry ass. What was the point of playing CQC on the deck with a handful of soldiers before confronting the "Evil King"? The dude was just standing there doing nothing.

As for Nina, well to be honest, I get the feeling of conflict she has between wanting to avenge Mugaro and to "stop" her beloved Charioce without killing him, but girl you seriously need to find your resolve and actually DO something. Anything. Either you stand up against your friends and protect the half bind sonovabitch, or you take him down yourself and stop his plans in its tracks. I don't really care which she chooses at this point, but yelling at Baccus in the carriage when she could have just turned into a dragon and FLEW THERE HERSELF is definitely not what she should've been doing.

This show is a convoluted mess right now, and I don't think the last episode will be able to redeem it.
