| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Interesting episode, we got more focus on Alma's story. Yu and Alma has one of the most complex relationships and their dynamics is so intense. Their friendship really is touching from the start. Plus, that transformation.. Glad to see they try to keep most of the violence while mixing in some comedy. Quite an intense standoff in the present timeline as well.  |

| Great episode. Poor Kanda was forced to kill his friend, but he admited that even when the Second Exorcist program was awful, the humans who performed it still had good intentions. The part when For carries the body of Bak Chang's father and put it along the corpse of his wife was very sad :( Shit got real at the end. We will enter into the climax of the arc soon. |

| Reaching dem seinen levels. Damn that was heart wrenching, esp with the transition to that ED song. So Alma looks kinda like a 4 so I'm assuming he's gonna fight like a level 4 on steroids. |

| Amazing episode. Kanda and Alma's history is quite sad. Don't remember the scientist being like this though but I'm glad they recognized their mistakes and were willing to let Alma kill them all and tell For to not protect them. Alma is awake and all hell is gonna break loose. Been waiting for this since they announced the return of D. Gray-man. This is going to be an epic fight filled with heartbreak. So stoked about next week. Hope they take their time with this because the one thing I do remember is how it ends and how powerful that last scene was. |

| That was as painful as I thought it would be. Those sound effects when Kanda killed Alma over and over again . . . So glad they didn't pull back too much from the violence of this arc. |

| Great episode, They did the flashback quite well. Even adapted the extra chapter focusing on For's thoughts. Poor Alma :( , It's like Kanda says, He did nothing wrong. The Order just went ahead and used them for their own experiments. Why do they do it? To save the world. Using people to save the world, Makes you wonder if that's right or wrong. Kanda carries a really heavy past, Having to kill his friend like that :( I always liked how Alen snapped Kanda out of the flashback thing, Kinda funny xD Kanda and Alma finally come face to face again. Next week is gonna be amazing. |

| hmmm that episode was kind of meh for me, I realise it was needed to tell part of the story but the way they did it felt kind of...I dunno I had times where it was better to look at my phone instead. Next episode looks promising! |

| Really good episode, this adaptation is proving to be quite good after all, albeit a bit rushed. So I guess Kanda will be fighting Alma again next episode, but this time in Akuma form... |

| I read the manga but i'm still surprised at how gruesome this got. Kanda slashing away at Alma in the background was really difficult to listen to as in it actually made me shudder a bit. |
| A bit cool episode! Alma went on rampage and killed every one and young Kanda killed Alma which Allen seen on the memories of Kanda. next ep will be match-up with Kanda & Alma. 4/5. |

| Very good episode, overall start was good or decent, but it's getting better and better. I think this arc is pretty well adapted, at least for now. Next time should be some crazy action if i remember correctly. |

| My heart goes to Kanda (his love for 'her' really moved me...*sniff*)... And Kanda understands... it's true the order will do anything to win but they're just doing what they can to protect everyone... Gut wrenching episode. Tsk3 I really hoped Edgar would have at least made it alive. The ending scene was cool imo. :) |

| This is a pretty good episode. Love the addition scene added, and that ending is pretty hype. Didn't expect a 2 min+ recap though. The series is improving in both animation and pacing. Hope the last half remain animation and pacing remain consistent. |
