| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- About time, more alone time between Anna and Natsuki. I feel like that their bond's gotten stronger. Anna is still a bit naive about love though imo, probably because she hasn't experienced it much. Lol Mari misses her friend like usual even though I don't think they've been separated for more than a few hours. The bath scenes were priceless. |

| Nice, quick but nice rescue. Proper OP clip this time with new OP song starting this time, though there are some overuse from previous OP clip. She still doesn't know the meaning of "namba" after meeting one. It's nice they happen to ride heart cart. Nice chat they had, though they are still not a pair. Guys and girls in separate activities including being separate rooms and onsen. Somehow the girl who hates guys are jealous (and sad) seeing how the main girl having fun talking about the love matter. ED: "Catch me if you can!" by SM guy. |

| Such a sweet and fun episode. New OP and ED as well. I liked the old ones more but the new ones were still pretty good. The Natchan and Anna moments were so cute. Based on what Anna says, It seems like she still hasn't developed feelings for Natchan but it's obvious that she does like him. Hope we see some more progression in her feelings and their relationship soon. Mari feeling left out due to conversations about love :3 The boys conversation in the bath was epic,Tsuyoponnu saying upper arms XD |

You can actually say that she hates him in particular because she has seen him flirting with multiple girls while joking around showing interest in her. The anime curbs it very much unlike the manga. No decent girl would date someone like Mattsun just for his looks. As for Natsuki, she doesn't hate him. You are right on that. Hints were already given in an earlier episode (in episode 10 just before they surprised her by celebrating her birthday she tells Mattsun "They lead you on, then betray you. It reminds me way too much of Romeo magically getting over Rosalind at the start of the play because he merely saw Juliet. Personality points he's uncovered seem to be "blushes when speaking about love" and "is oblivious to flirting". But what's her favourite colour, Natsuki? What type of movies does she like? Ohmygoddd if they had adapted the shitty Mattsun in the manga, there would be less Mari haters haha On the first time watching the anime (before I read the manga) I was actually wondering why she hates Mattsun so much. Then I read the manga and Poof! It became koko krunch I finally understood why Mattsun is the scum of the earth lol But I hardcore ship Mari X Mattsun though ahahaha tralalallaa xD |

Also, if they adapted Keiichi's THAT arc, I am not sure he would be this popular to anime-only fans. I really like Nozomi's dedication. But thinking about her being with Keiichi makes my heart bleed a bit (readers will know). My favourite in the anime/manga are still Tsuyoshi and Yukiko (who happen to be the most popular amongst readers in Japan). I think all the Nijiiro Girls are plenty adorable. But as I said before in the other episode discussion thread, Nijiiro Days depicts falling in love when they never see that coming — Natsuki (who always liked expressive and energetic girls) with Anna (not expressive at all and far from energetic), Mattsun (who is a womanizer and with a principle of not having a special one) with Mari (certainly special, in ways more than one), Tsuyoshi (who never intended to get a girlfriend) with Yukiko (a match made in heaven) and Keiichi (who is into whips and older women only) with Nozomi (two years younger and impossible to hurt type). |

I totally agree. I was really horrified that Keiichi is like that. When I started watching it, I was comparing the guys to the characters from Free! (haha) Tsuyopon = Haru, Mattsun = Rin, Nagisa = Natsuki, and Keiichi = Makoto, the kind and gentle Makoto (I'm a stupid fangirl like that). Anyways Keiichi was sort of kind and gentle aside from being an S, but I thought it was just fun for him to whip people, not as a LOL So same as you I don't want Nozomi to end up with him. likkkkeeee xxxxxxx NO. he pisses me off more than Mattsun. But it is inevitable in this manga Well, they are #RelationshipGoals xD wowza Thanks for bringing that up. I didn't think of it that way, except for the Mattsun x Mari route since that kind of trope is pretty common in the shoujo world. |
