Well that got rough fast...Is it also just me or does Skuld seem kinda lewd this episode?

About time Mika got into the fight. I think this might be a highlight point of the arc on the Vampire's side considering he and the Nobles are directly confronting their enemies.

Oh poor Aiko Aihara D:
I kinda feel bad for her.

Nice to see Chess, Crowley and Horn again~
I think the first part of this ep should've answered the 'nobles being weak' argument. As you can see, Aiko's group lost alot of men.

I fucking hate life. The stream just had to stop when my favourite Guren line was coming up. I'm so fucking pissed off. I just hope they included it.

Ahh, Mika was scary when he appeared. He's so beautiful tho. >.<

Damn, the humans' way of getting out of torture and interrogation was even more brutal than in the manga.

Aiko is killing my heart, man. Dat loyalty, and her death... Le feels. ;__; They even included the last ep's OP to increase it! >.<

The episode was really faithful^

Might change later, but, for the bits I've seen: 5/5
I'm really impressed, WIT. Again, only 2 chapters an ep and look at the marvellous difference! They've probably slowed down due the the amount of chapters. Let's to hoping they keep at this amount of chaps per ep!

>Didn't include the Guren line
>Didn't fucking include the Guren line.

Rite. Someone hand me a table.

0/5 episode.

Next ep: Shinya and Guren'

AHHHH, HYPE. HYPE. HYPE.

Playing with the oni sword. There are few more teams that are safe. Ex-human vampire guy's team came to attack while some teams went to SuzuKen's character's team. They went suicide. That lady met ex-human vampire guy, who asked about Miyu-Miyu's character.

She only told him the truth, while telling others fake information. She asked him to kill her.

That was a pretty cool ep. Aiko was a cool character :'(
The cute blue vampire is still as cute as ever, and she got more screentime :D :D
No fighting in this ep, (not much at least) which was a shame, but future eps seem promising

Am I the only one that thinks its a bit weird that Guren and everyone is going on that suicide mission? I mean apart from plot armour, they have nothing going for them. I get Guren doesn't like loosing comrades and all, but taking along 15 other comrades on a suicide mission doesn't fit right with me.

And next ep title - Shinya and Guren. What does that mean?!

They handled Aiko really well in this episode imo and I felt the same amount of feels as I did when I read it....RIP Aiko-chan :(

The way they played the first OP during her death added so much more to the scene and in some cases I would go far as even saying that the anime>manga with this episode, everything was just beautifully handled

Next week is when shit is going to get REAL and then it's gonna get even more real so I can't wait.....Team Crowley vs Team Guren

I knew Aiko was a goner as soon as she appeared. Such a waste of a beautiful character design. :( Crowley's bimbo's both have such big beautiful tits, but only the blonde one isn't absolutely obnoxious.

Like WTF?!
How they all could just so simply give up
and to take their own lifes?

Aiko Aihara you are so stupid... I can't even... -.-

Good point in this episode was - MIKA! *.*

Shinya mentioned it in episode 5. If they didn't commit suicide, they would've been interrogated and tortured if they don't tell the vamps their comrades' locations.

Aiko Aihara you are so stupid... I can't even... -.-

She did the best thing she could.
Wasn't it clear that she told the vampires the wrong location? She judged Mika from Yu's nickname and she did the right thing. She sacrificed herself, but Mika will now probably get to see Yu again. She even managed to help Guren squad, Shinoa squad and Narumi squad from getting attacked by Mika and the other vampires.

Mikaaaaa! I missed yuu. Such a shitty pun. Shoot me.

All in all, a great episode. Seemingly loyal to the manga, too.

As much as I'm excited for this 'Shinya and Guren' episode, I'm just waiting for Mika and Yuu to meet again.

The whole point of the series seems to be like "lets see the audience to lose their shit while Mika and Yuu will struggle to see each other again." Three years later the situation will remain the same. Though

Aiko's death was done pretty well (not being able to remember much in the manga anyway). Crowley and his subordinates make another appearance and Mika successfully gets info on Yuu. A decent buildup episode.

Yeah... but wasn't it too fast for them to give up?
They are soldiers on war...
and so easily take their lifes, because vampires caughted them.
But... they are supporing characters, if one of them was one main characters,
he allowed himself to be tortured without telling vampires about his comrades.

I don't thought about this...
I thought how simply she ordered her team to commit suicide...

Well... I prefer characters who motivate all to survive no matter what.

This whole suicide scene just... pissed me off...
If author wanted to kill lot of character who could let do this vampires,
than killing them just like that... -.-

Doesn't feel like much really happened, but that swapping of intel between Aiko and Mika was very interesting in the way that was executed and the way they were able to deceive the other two vampires all the way until the end. Saying that, it would have been pretty cool to see more of Crowley than what we did, but I'm sure that's coming anyhow.

It was a suicide mission. It doesn't matter whether or not they die, as long as they complete their mission.

Well, no. That wasn't the author's intention.
The scene should've shown you the loyalty of the soldiers, as well as how willing they are to help their comrades.

Guren can't cry on the battlefield, so Aiko did it for him, and for everyone else to. I feel like Aiko shouldn't have pushed so hard to get Mika to kill her. I know she feels like she has nothing left but I wish she'd taken Guren's words to heart and cherished her life a bit more.

Mika's distrust of humans' runs extremely deep. I can't believe he still thought Aiko was just using Yu. It seems he really will never trust anyone except for Yu. If the next episode ends on a cliffhanger where they just see each other I will not be amused ^^

Hmm Aiko going from begging for mercy to being suicidal in less than a minute. I guess it make sense as she gave her comrades away... becoming completely untrustworthy. A rough episode i must say.

It also seems like Mika is having a fight with himself, trying to find reason in the humans behaviour around his friend. I'll be honest, it's annoying to always her him talk about how we'll save Yu from the humans... but i guess we'll know how that's going to turn out later.

My memory of this part of the manga is a little hazy, but I believe she gave them the wrong information.

This episode seems like it's setting up for the climax, and it was cool to see Mika get some screen time after being absent last episode. His obsession with Yu never fails to crack me up for some reason.

I also liked how they played a different rendition of last season's OP during Aihara's death. I think that fit the mood of that part extremely well.

It was just an expression.

My point is that you shouldn't expect them to want him to look older than he is. I mean, this is anime-manga, but the author might not want that.

that aside this was an other well adapted episode, given the pace i wonder if they'll use the last 3 or 4 episodes for the original ending, that would be interesting, instead of having a rushed original ending over only 1 episode

Meh, I don't feel as if the episode was bad just felt kinda DBZ with the talking, which, I'll admit isn't fair since many animes suck because of lack of dialogue. I mean I get why girl-of-the-week did what she did and for the most part it made some sense. Though it would've be a bit more believable if she had better known Yu, at least from 2 or 3 episodes ago. Trusting a vampire off of knowing a comrades nickname being known by the enemy is a tad "wut?". She was kinda left with no choice but still it was a bit shaky at best. 6/10

Edit: the insert song was more awkward rather than empathetic.

I can understand where you are coming from. Maybe if she had been given more screen time and or backstory it might've had more of an impact.

That's a problem for a lot of characters in this show besides Yu and Guren I feel. A lot of the other cast look important but have no real significance at all. For example, most of the members of Guren's team look important but they could all be gone by the next episode and I'd have known next to nothing about them as characters.

Exactly what I said in previous episodes, I didn't even know the name of the girl (although the scene was really well executed and although the music was again horrible) what's killing this show is the lack of character development and the changes from the manga. For example, this episode didn't explain many other relevant things and most of it was dedicated to a woman who we don't even know her role or name -at least in the anime, the manga could be different-.
"Doubting everything that you take on... That is very important. Open your own eyes, clear out your ears, and look and listen to the world... And think using your own brain. Well, the episode wasn't half bad, either way. I'm starting to dislike Mika, seems like he's just there for us to be showered with angst and fail logic, but eh... I guess he would've let her go if she just kept quiet.
