| To be fair, at the age she's in, you'd expect her to help out at least a little in the house and understand her brother's finance balancing and whatnot. But it's a sibling comedy, it'd probably not go that far in because the target audience finds her selfishness amusing. |

| If she didn't have her "perfect school idol" side I would like her more. Her jackass chibi side can be extremely funny, and if that was her only "mode" then people would actually treat her based on how she acts. I don't like how she charms people to get away with shitty behavior. An unashamed jackass would be easier to swallow. But then she'd go back to being spoiled again. She's definitely aware of how much she'd be screwed without him, though. They actually have a close relationship, given how much time they spend doing things together(playing video games, going out, etc.), even with Taihei working a full-time job. That's pretty rare for a brother and sister in real life. |

| I don't really hate her but sometimes I doesn't like how she treated her brother. maybe because I'm in the same boat as an elder brother. If I was him I would show some dominance to her, or maybe bringing up some harrasement/rape jokes to her. |

Is it the Watamote effect where you only like the anime because you relate to the main character? At least with Watamote, Tomoko was just an anti social, anxious, NEET. But with Umaru, she is just a bitch. But the worst part is that eveyone loves her in the anime. If her brother tries to disipline her, she would just manipulate the public into thinking he is the awful person.
