Really nice to see Kagami fired up though. And also a good amount of focus from Kuroko's insight on the field. This match is dragging a bit imo but overall maintains a solid delivery so far. |

| Limit for Kimura-san's character's use of his ability increased? Kuroko tried but doesn't work. The audiences all goes for enemy team and everyone doesn't want to make another mistake, so they are stiff. lol @ "stinky" sentence after red's mistake because he want's to wake them up. Breaking Perfect copy by guessing what he use according to the routine. Fake was surprising, and Kuroko is still looking. I wonder how they will win (because of one of the arcs of 2nd cours). |

| I really didn't like this episode; Kise's everywhere and (still) way too overpowered - the plot's pretty much predictable (you can play as good as you want, but look ... there's Kise to f'ck up your game, coooooool) and I don't really look forward to Saturday-episodes anymore; kind of disappointing imo. |

| It was an ok episode, but I would rather have them end the match in this episode instead of next week. It really felt like they dragged it out. We don't need recaps when you have a suspense building cliffhanger the previous episode. And lmao Kagami's yell was wayyy too long. Looks like we're getting a fifth season, or an OVA or SOMETHING because there is no way in hell you can adapt the last match and the Teiko Arc in 13 episodes... |

| Although I'm on Team Seirin, it's really hard not to cheer for Kaijo when you see how amazing Kise is and be swallowed up by the flow of the game. If anything, the anime adaptation improved the flow of the original Kaijo vs Seirin Semi-Final game. It feels like Kagami is trying to break the fourth wall with his talk about drama, and how Kise is destined to lose just because he is not the main character. |

There is a Teiko arc? Already looking forward to it. Maybe they will explain why Akashi now has a golden eye. Both his eyes were red in the flashbacks. I can't believe we have to wait for a whole week just to see the last 34 seconds of the match. This is dragging a bit too long. And even Kagami knows that they are the main team in the tournament and that they have plot armour. Wonder how they will stop Ryouta though. |

| meh this episode was pretty slow. Was hoping for it to finish this week but I guess next week will do. Kinda takes away the intensity though imo. I guess Kagami isn't going in the Zone this match which I'm happy about. Seems a little too convenient at times (waiting for it in the match with Rakuzan though). lol at Kagami's scream and his corny speech. The entire team just started bashing on him xD |
| People calling the match draggy are forgetting one thing, the season is 26 episodes long no matter how long this match takes. We are 11 episodes into the season and there's ONE last match after this and a much shorter flashback arc*, and no more. Ponder about that. *The flashback arc has around the same number of chapters as the Kaijo match in the manga and several scenes have already been covered in existing OVAs (Kuroko and Aomine, Kise's induction) and episodes (Kuroko and Haizaki). At the end of the series, 275 chapters (minus a couple for the OVAs) would be covered in 76 episodes. That's more than 3.5 chapters per episode, an amazing pacing for a popular adaptation. I think people really don't appreciate how good the pacing is. When's the last time a popular manga was adapted at this pace? The Slam Dunk anime, in contrast, covered less than 200 chapters in 100 episodes, not even 2 chapters per episode. The last competitive match in the anime was a whopping 18 episodes long. They will have to rush the last match a little, but it's definitely possible. The last match has plenty of chapters with a lot of exposition and only 1 or 2 plays. If they remove a lot of the exposition, flashbacks and lengthy explanations like they already did for the Touou and Yosen matches (the reason why they managed to cover 5 chapters per episode during those matches), the content they would need to cover can be considerably shortened. And as I said above, the flashback arc is already shortened in a sense because existing OVAs had already covered significant content from the arc. |

| Now that I've actually watched the episode, what the hell are you guys on about? The episode is the best episode of the match imo. The basketball bits were intense from start to finish. The in between bits about sports psychology (nice that Riko narrated it instead of 'the narrator'), tactics (Kuroko's observation and Akashi's explanation) and humor (Kagami being corny) were all incredibly spot on. They even added stuff that weren't in the manga (one man alley oop, the Midorima fake). The animation reminded me of the first Seirin vs Kaijo match in season 1; not perfect, but still very smooth and fast.. This is what a well animated (apart from a couple of awkward scenes if you want to nitpick) and well balanced episode looks like, as opposed to 90% of the episode's budget going into a single brilliantly animated scene. I also love how Kagami was portrayed this episode. Usually when one player is dominating, the other player being dominated would be made to look utterly useless. But here, they manage to make Kagami look like the elite player he is even though PC Kise is much better. Lol, the animators are making fun of the fact that Murasakibara's VA wasn't available for the last 3 episodes by making him eat his chips all episode long, while poor Himuro continued to talk to himself. At least he's doing something (another thing I liked about this episode) other than staring into space. |

| I know this is an anime but how they've made it so Kise can copy everything exactly is actually so dumb and totally unrealistic. It's kinda cool that he can copy things but, being able to copy things that the others from the generation of miracles can do because of their physique just doesn't work (he should only be able to copy technique). He has neither Murasakibara's arm length/ height nor Aomine's natural agility. His body isn't built exactly the same way and it's more like he's just randomly gaining and losing height and muscle throughout the match. It's actually so stupid. Okay, rant over. |

An entire quarter can be skipped if it is not deemed important, while a 4 min segment in the match can be stretched to 2 episodes if that segment is deemed crucial narratively speaking. The ending minutes are always crucial in KnB. People should stop acting surprised that the ending minutes took more episode time than the middle minutes. Besides, have you discounted the time taken up by the multiple timeouts, free throws and when the ball went out of bounds? |

Akashi's Emperor Eye and almost everything about Kuroko. Almost everything these three do is impossible. I stopped using logic in anime a long time ago. But if you do want to read a basketball manga with realistic plays, read Slam Dunk. |
