| I get the feeling that this is gonna be a monster of the week anime as well & I'm not sure how I feel about that. My initial thought was "Aww, that sucks!" but now that I think about it it'd pobably be boring if it wasn't & how else are we gonna see Miyu's character develop so I guess it's a good thing. I thought it was heartbreaking when that little girl (in animal form) was running towards Miyu & she was killed by Reiha! She was innocent & she never had a chance! =( |
| Poor little girl!!! and her mom!!! can believe she committed suicide cuz she was lonely. . . anyway it was a good epi... the shinma was interesting... and the nw battler... Reiha was... selfish... and her doll was annoying =P but it still was a good epi... |

| God Wendee Lee needs to just go away, that voice for Reiha is just terrible, I could do a better child voice. Though why can't Miyu actually save someone for once or is it just dark and gritty, what a load she doesn't even try. Probably the writers want to get across some more preachy bullshit. |

| I just hate monster of the week anime, it's already proving itself to be one of those types... It doesn't seem like it could become something else though, since Miyu is a guardian whose purpose is to slay them after all. The first time I watched this, one of the only things I did remember was the slug washing scene. It was sad when Miyu said that the guy's wife and the shinma looked nothing alike, he was either so far gone without his boo and was mistaken or she pulled some sort of magic on him. |
| I initially thought that this episode was going to show that there were some good Shinma folk, but nope, they just can't be trusted. So this villain turns people into animals. I really do like the disturbing concepts that each episode dishes out. Reiha seems like an interesting character. I wonder if we'll get to see more of her.  |

| I kinda got tricked too and I expected the conflict to be about Reiha trying to kill an innocent Shinma. I guess it's because she is the first "subtle" one, at least compared to the first three. I also wonder whether there will be some episodes where a Shinma curse is reversed. Because so far, most of the ending are quite bad for everyone involved. |

This episode must take place some time in the past given how everyone wore kimonos the entire time and Miyu spoke of the Shinma selling horses in the town. Lava's nowhere to be seen so Miyu must have met him later.
| @Fronzel I thought that also at first but after a rewatch I'm not sure cause the guy at the beginning mentions working a 9 to 5 job. |
