THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Pani Poni has come BACK! The ultra high speed comedy was so hilarious. And Lots of Fan Services! The references are: Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (Nonaka Ai as Ann-chan!?) Hidamari Sketch Negima!? Nice boat. Touhou Yukkuri Gundam 00 Monster Hunter Gyakuten Saiban Heat Strike Witches (Becky in Pantsless costume was so adorable) Nausica Seto no Hanayome Natsume Yuujinchou Nyanko Sensei JoJo Gurren Lagan Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo Macross Frontier (Watanuki as Sheryl!) Idol Master (Ichijo as Haruka) etc. etc. The animation of the battle PaniPoni X vs Yukkuri was unnecessarily well done. Great DVD-BOX. $220 wasn't expensive at all. |

Awesome return of PPD. I just hope SHAFT won't stop just on it and eventually we'll get another series. |

When they praise Becky, there was a sign with "人魚と書いて任侠と読むき!", but don't know if there was more |

Zetsubousensei blew me away, but now PPD will have to be re-instantiated as my favourite. It just has the best suspense-during-wackyness. |

The freaky Zetsubou drawing makes a comeback. xD When the credits rolled, I thought they would have done something with Cardcaptors... It was a fun episode; makes me miss PPD a lot. |

I liked the drawings that appeared while the aliens were talking. What is it reference to, I wonder? The amount of references kinda annoyed me, though. I think it's just because I haven't been watching PPD for a while. But the episode was as good as the better ones from the series. Ichijou just exploses with randomness. |

Wow. I've forgotten how Pani Poni Dash was like. It's been what? Almost 4 years now? Still, it's nice to hear Orisaka Fumiko and Satsuki Yukino again (with the respective fan service). lol. It's also interesting to hear these secondary roles after most of their seiryu went on after this show to gain fame in their own respective rights come back to voice again. |

They totally overdid the references, though I caught about 75% of them at least, along with some random (More than most of the series) fanservice, a bit higher quality drawing, and some sort of story just for the OVA makes a 9 in my book, maybe even a 10 if I feel like thinking more. Lol Yukkuri. |

This is why I love this show so much. So incredibly silly. If any show deserves a second season, it's this one. |

This show is so random and funny, I love it! I really wish they would make another season. Oh well till they do I'll just have to watch the the current episodes and OVA again! |

LOL Miku![]() By the way has anybody been able to spot the subliminal reference in the OVA. For those who didn't its around the scene where Himeko glomps Yuuma/Yuuna I would tell you head on but wheres the fun in that? It's somewhere in this video around the 2 minute mark |

Now I finally got to see this too. Hilarious, just as the show itself. As the anouncer of Jack Blacks Dream in the Tenacious D film would have said: "I fucking love this show." Give us a second season now. |

Watched this right after PPD itself. If this was a regular episode, it would be the best. Should I rate it 9? Senoj8 said: Great episode. Loved the part where Media and Behoime were setting up their traps. ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us |

God damn it Ichijo!! You crack my shit up!! Ah...that was great. I really wish there was more, but seeing as it is 2014 it probably won't happen, but that was a great end to a great series. |
