So, the strong-willed Maki has some past traumatic experiences after all which he alone couldn't handle. Very good episode for me.

I really didn't like this episode. They did some weird things in this arc. It all wrapped up pretty quickly, and Maki was just really acting out of character. None of this episode felt right, and, until the last 5-7 minutes, it was quite boring and predictable.

Wow, this episode required way too much suspension of disbelief. Aoki flying a plane?! Yeah, that's believable... At least we got to learn more about Maki in this arc, so it's not a total waste.

I was also disappointed by this episode... As I said in the last episodes topic, I already read this arc in the manga, and there it was much better.
They shouldn't have squeezed it into two episodes. It felt rushed and because the viewer didn't get the time to get what was going on, it the characters seemed out of character.

As a fangirl I was sooo looking forward to angsty Maki, but they really managed to make him only look pathetic. :(
Well if you want to get more out of this arc, read the manga, it's (fan)translated far enough.

When I look at Aoki all I can think is the perfect image of a uke, but Maki makes me think of a little brother that acts though but that you enjoy beating up just for the fun of it.

I saw a lot of mindfuck movies, tv shows, anime read the same kind of manga and book I wonder if I would be able to do section nine work without losing it.

All I can say about that episode is: I wanna learn how to pilot an helicopter ^.^
and that love is such a powerful thing -_-

Oh,, and I think it's just me who thought this ep was a bit out of place.

Aoki was damn scary in this episode, and BTW, how did he manage to look through Suzuki's brain so thoroughly? I mean, Suzuki died long ago, his brain was more than 48( or 72 ? I'm not sure ) hour-old after death for sure.
Even if it can be scanned and such, shouldn't the images be more blurred? Some data and memories must have lost during the gap of time.
But Aoki said he saw it all. Weird, isn't it?

I always love strong-willed Maki, and hate how the story revealed his weak side. Maki was absolutely out of his character, not so impressing for me. Freaking out once in a while is alright, however, in this ep ( and the former one ) he did it once? twice? three times?,, eh ,, I didn't count though. But it was more than enough.

If manga is much better, then I guess I'll go for it.

The arc seemed to end too soon. It was interesting to learn what happened in the past though.

I wouldn't say Maki was acting out of character. He's certainly strong but when his closely guarded weakness is exposed, he crumbles and that's not necessarily a bad thing. It only shows he's human.

I wanted more of this arc, too. I wish they didn't rush it out the way they did. I haven't read the manga but, it definitely seemed that they could've gone much more into detail. What about the relationship between Suzaki and Maki? They could've shown more to illustrate how close they were. Also, they could have shown Aoki's deliberation over Suzaki's brain. It would've helped to understand the descent of the mind...

Interesting seeing the past of Maki, how he felt responsible for the wrong doings of Kainuma.
Wish they went a bit more indept with Suzuki though, we just see him losing his mind over the images he saw.

Cool arc though, maybe it will involve something later on.

Kainuma really was a monster, he even killed people after his death.
Too bad Suzuki had to die because he saw his brain.
Maki was partially responsible for letting Kainuma go, but who would have known that he will turn into a monster.
