| Yeah, I liked the series overall. It's just unfortunate that the series had to be truncated from what it should've been. Now if live-evil can get the Queen Millennia tv series translated fully--we'll be in business then. |

| A totally impressive episode as expected from the last episode of Captain Harlock! Really intense action, character development and ending in general. While I still am not a too huge fan of the many changes brought in this setting, it was still very lovely to experience together with the many additions to character and story development. So all in all a very good ending for an epic series! |

| The Illumidas have been destroyed, and Earth is saved! Tadashi, Revi and the doctor stayed behind to rebuild Earth, while Harlock and Emeraldas continue their never-ending journey through the sea of stars. Overall, this series is on par with the 1978 series, despite the fact that it was supposed to be twice as long, but due to Gundam being more popular than space operas at this point, caused this series to suffer in viewership numbers. It's a shame, but the series is still great, and I'm glad that I've finally seen it. :) |
