| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Anyone watched this? It's a pity that it doesn't get subbed due to the license. I found the ep to be quite boring, actually. Not so many fun moments, it could have been a lot better. The one scene I laughed at, though:  Next ep seems a bit better with Amelia and Naga's reunion. |
| I just want Naga back in her true form with her selfconfidence and sense of absolute superiority instead that weird ghost armour form. As for the subs, someone at 4chan already made translation script for the 1st ep so hopefully eventually someone will make proper subs out of it. |
| FUCK YES!! Subs for EP.2 EDIT: Just saw the episode and was really disappointed. It wasn't as hilarious as I expected it to be, with the exception of the Dragon Slave early in the episode and Zel BAWWWING. xD No glimpse of Zuuma and Ozel whatsoever was a bummer. and the continuous absence of Xellos and Wizer isn't helping. Where the hell are those 2? |

Seriously, blushing Zelgadis shouting "Rezo, you idiot!" ? well, if you consider Evolution-R as Slayers season 4.5, it makes sense that these episodes would be considered "fillers". isn't that the way it has usually been over the past 3 seasons of the franchise? epic episode 13, a couple of transition episodes (mostly for comedic purposes), then back to the meat of the story. IIRC, there wasn't a Trap Gourry in Revolution and that was a staple of the all 3 TV series, the producers have yet to deliver on that end (that is of course, you're into those types of things *whistles*). I have to admit though, the comedy in the transition episode are nowhere near as hilarious when stacked up against the ones in Slayers NEXT. |

I think it wasn't in Revolution because Trap Gourry always appears in 17th episode of a series. So, the 4th episode of Evolution-R *should* be the episode (here's hoping to them at least *doing* that). I, too, found this episode a little boring- I felt they talked too much and that there wasn't enough craziness going on other then a few scenes. I wish the comedic level of Slayers NEXT would come back... |

| Quite a few good parts to this episode, even if it was filler. Gourry flipping out ecstatically when he finally figured something out correctly was great! As for Zel blushing and running off .. no comment. Hans' jar-obsession would have been cooler if he'd been a relative of the captain from Try. |

| The english VA's did a pretty good job with the Dulahan's. They had the funniest moments and lines. Especially lolled at "All the friendly skeletons and zombies to help me search for my head." :D |

| The fighting animation was pretty good imo. Apart from that a pretty pointless episode though. |
