| I'm quite disappointed that the entire episode was just a touch up of the first half of the first OVA in 16:9 :| Guessing they'll take 2 episodes per OVA so we won't get any new content until episode 5. The opening and ending delivered the kind of fantastic visuals we've come to expect from Kyoani so I'm really looking forward to that point. |

| 2 episodes per OVA, is a safe bet. So with 4-5 episodes dedicated to recapping the OVAs, the question becomes, are we looking at a 12-13 episode cours, or are we going to get the traditional 24 episode Kyotoani treatment? Also, JUST the fact that I get to see Munto in glorious widescreen, makes the recap entirely worth watching. As a side note, Daisuke Ono as Munto was a good choice, at least I think so. And even Wakamoto is aboard? Good God...I have faith in you Kyotoani. |

| As expected of Kyoani, the animation was beautiful. I absolutely love the reflected sky in the wet roadways and how the three girls walk on it. That was stunning. And the ED was especially fantastic. The character designs remind me of old-school anime shows with the simple body figure and solid lines? So far so good ... definitely want more. Edit: I guess I should've read the other thread first, haha. So they used and basically inserted the OVA in this episode. No wonder they OP and ED looked so different to me than the rest. I'll be looking forward to Kyoani's part then but it's kinda disappointing that they did that instead of re-animating it, given that it is a "remake". |

| Good to see the old setup, and those new voices such as Ono and Wakamoto did a good job - to be honest they are better than the original. Kinda disappointment that they just harshly reused the animation with little effect enhancements. Guybrush said: should i watch it even though i haven't watched munto yet? i heard munto is not that good but this one seems to be better, so im a little confused. what do you guys say? Do what you want, I'd watch the TV as Munto isn't so strong series to go through twice - not to mention in such a short period of time. |

| wow i really enjoyed this. i just happened to dl it to see what it was about. the whole beginning with the floor being so reflective like glass gave a very beautiful image. |

| Hm... the animation quality isn't comparable to the last few KyoAni Anime. But it was okay and the story is interesting. OP is average and ED is great. :D |

| The only thing I currently liked where the opening and ending theme, This episode was just the same as the first part of the first ova and I really disliked that one and the animationstyle I wished they remade it fully but as seen they didn't... disappointing in one word, But I see hope for this anime in the opening and ending style just hope that style will be used fast... |

| I wasn't looking forward to it in any way, but I was wrong, it's actually pretty good. The mix of heroic fantasy and school life reminds me of Escaflowne (a lot), and the direction is interesting. A bit hard to catch everything though as the pace is very, very fast, and somewhat confusing. |

| Haven't seen the OVAs, so I'm not all that familiar with this (just learned of this anime a few weeks ago ^^). The story seems interesting, and the visuals are great. I sorta felt that the pacing was mild-slow, but cramming too much stuff, or deleting scenes(especially fo those new to this), is not a good thing either so... meh. Anyway, I'll want to see more of this to give it a rating, but I'm pretty much into these kinds of stuff, and so far it's okay, so I don't think I'll be dissapointed (hopes). No you're wrong, the animation was done in 2003 and recent titles, recently - what a shocker. In other words it isn't comparable coz the animation is older than in recent titles - it has nothing to do with it being original production. |

| This looked really nice, and it looks promising. I really liked beautiful animation, and it was indeed colorful. The story was interesting enough to keep me interested in watching this series. The opening and ending have terrific visuals even I've seen for a while. I will probably watch OVAs someday. |

| Wakamoto Norio! As expected, KyoAni has done a good job again. Not their best, but good still. I like the coloring. I certainly don't like Munto's character design, but his "ore-sama" amuses me. Well, he's the king after all. Kind of slow, but I think I'll manage it. |

Plus if they are using the 2004 OVA animation for the first few episodes I'm also curious how the new episodes will look. Oh and the reflection of the water on the surface and some of the background art really did remind me of Air tv. This show looks like it has some potential. Like Escaflowne? Yes. Escaflowne?No, I'd say this series has got some serious identity issues. It reminds me of of a hybrid of many different genres. Still could be interesting. Guess I will have to keep watching.  |
| Dropped. I pretty much despised everything about this episode. Edit: On second thought I will probably follow a couple more episodes but god this was boring. I'm giving KyoAni the benefit of the doubt so we'll see. |

| Not KyoAni standard as of yet but the animation can only get better (they are reusing old animation at the moment) so I'm going to stick with it until I actually see modern KyoAni. |

| Hopefully the animation gets better within the next few episodes. This episode was pretty fast paced. Its like the tried to clam all the things that this series is going to be about into one episode. I could barely keep up with what was going on. |
| Huh...actually pretty cool. For some reason, watching YouTube AMV's make me want to watch random animes I've never heard of. Which is a pretty good thing. At first looked like the typical school girl rom-com crap, but actually turned out to be something completely different and cool. |

| Dat Kyoto Animation production values~ Decent Op song sof ar imo. I love the theme and style of this OVA so far. I'm curious about this whole topic regarding the Destiny Child... Not bad so far. Both OP/ED songs are quite decent. |
