| Damn, that concert / insert song sequence was beautiful. Also Yukari was really clever with that bait-and-switch re: Kasuga. Great episode! |
| After some time and watching a bit more of the show... I can say this episode is one of my favs of the whole show, if not all time. That insert sequence was magical. |
| I won't be surprised if Yukari is Madoka's sister, she is a kitsune for baiting Kasuga to a hotel . |
| This was a great episode with an epic twist before the end. Loved the insert song sequence with Kyosuke reminiscing older happier memories. Best one by far. Wish Kyosuke would actually use his brain for a change instead of thinking with his D. He doesn't have confidence in Madoka and is jumps to conclusions too fast. The summer is getting to him. I wonder if Yuusaku is ok with being abused by Hikaru like that? |
| The sudden change in character design was strange and distracting to me. It's like everyone except for Madoka and Hikaru suddenly grew three years. I think the most distracting part is that it wasn't even consistent, some scenes would use the redesigns others would use the old ones, I'm surprised I'm the only person that seems to have noticed this... Strange charecter design choices aside, this episode was pretty frustrating in general to be honest. Why did the woman that ended up being the lead singer lead him on and actively led him to believe that Madoka had found some one else? That seemed pretty cruel. And then the song segment was just an excuse for a lazy clip show segment... and the song wasn't even that good, and I like that sort of music... I don't really understand why everyone is making out like this is such a great episode. Also, one final thought, aren't love hotels just places for people to check in and shack up? I wouldn't think that they would have concert areas with bands... Oh, and I'm tired of these episodes where Kyousuke assumes that Madoka has fallen for any guy that is around her for more than 2 minutes. I really thought the show had moved on from that at this point. |

| Firstly, I agree with Sally, Yuusaku breakdancing was hilarious. That kind of goofy behavior under his supposed "tough guy" exterior amuses me so. Secondly, "Like a Salvia Flower" is awesome! - Mind you, I like all the music in this show, but that "BROKEN HEART TO DREAM" is such a good hook. Granted, I would still probably rank "Jenina" or "Natsu no Mirage" over it. (And the movie song above all of them) I agree with your final point, though, Kristi. |
| It's a perfect episode, the best so far. Kyōsuke mistakenly thought that Madoka and Shū had a one-night stand. And a certain femme fatale named Yukari asked him to hang out with her. When it was shown that was Madoka holding a guitar, I knew that there was a misunderstanding. Meanwhile, Yukari led Kyōsuke to a motel. It seemed like it's gonna be a repeat of the precious episode where a hot woman will ask him to go down on her, but he would refuse. Just as seemingly Yukari was about to kiss him, they crashed on the room where Madoka's band is having a gig. Yukari turns out to be the vocalist, and later we learn that Shū is Madoka's cousin. I was really laughing so hard. |

| This felt like a mishmash of previous episodes — Ayukawa seen with a strange man (how many times has this happened now?), Kyousuke being led on by a new woman (happened the previous episode too). Overall pretty disappointed with the past two episodes. The first tennis episode was great though. |
