This was well balanced episode. There was humor and also some pretty cool fighting. It was pretty brutal how Yamucha's leg got broken. I really want to see Goku destroy those fools. |

| Ah well, too bad for Yamcha. He certainly has improved a shitload, at this point I wouldn't be surprised if he was actually stronger than Krillin. Interesting to see that he could do Kamehameha, I don't think Krillin can do that yet. |

I think I've always assumed Yamcha up to now, but I'm not sure. |

| Tien breaking Yamcha's leg was brutal!! I saw Dragon Ball Z first, so it's crazy seeing how cruel Tien is at this point |

| Kamehameha wave!!! Yamcha surely is a shadow of Goku. Even Krillian never did this. But Tien have some special techniques. Poor Tien! He thinks Yamcha was the best he fought. He was lucky that last time Goku was hungry and tired or he wouldn't be here to fight. Goku fought with demons. Shula himself had trouble against Goku. I would like to see Tien's face when he will fight the real deals. It is sure almost that Jackie Chun is going to win. I am thinking about Krillian. I don't think he will win against that cheater Chiaotzou. I wonder which one is the best humor - Bulma beating Ulong or Tien thinking he has beaten the best where Jackie Chun and Goku are still on line, haha!!! |

| What an exciting fight but unfortunate finish, with the unnecessary cheap shot of Tien breaking Yamcha's leg. There was some humor with Master Roshi and the Crane Hermit getting into a spat, but it was instigated by the Crane Hermit talking trash. Regarding the next match, I think I know/remember why Man-Wolf is so upset with Jackie Chan (I won't spoil it here) but we'll see. I expect Jackie Chan to beat Man-Wolf but still looking forward to the match. |

| Yamcha's parallels with a wolf in his fighting style and his Kamehameha were so fucking cool. It's a shame the fight ended the way it did, I didn't think that seeing a broken leg would be as disturbing as it was. The fact that this was only the first battle of the finals has me excited. |
