Hakuei is kicking more ass. Hakurei is Chuck Norris's disciple *is shot*

Then over half this episode was basically Hakurei's flashback of the previous war.

Hypnos brings Yuzuriha and Shion into the battle.

Hakurei saves Yuzuriha and Shion from one of Hypnos attaks.

Hmm I highly doubt this entire thing will end next episode unless extremely rushed...maybe there will be a third OVA series?

The previous Holy War flashback don't exist in the manga at all. Showing how it happened on the OVA, was the best part of the second season.

But I must say, I laughed hard, because Hades screamed something like "woooooooo" when his soul left the boy's body.

Feeling: Amazed, Funny, Forced

The Hakurei fight was really amazing, it left a long lasting impression on me, definitely... I think now i want to see seint seiya series even more haha!!
First impression when i saw the Hades from previous war was... :O Dokho!! :O And found funny that woooooo scream from Hades, too xD
As for the rest i think the flashback was not exactly a flash, it extended too much...
I felt the meteorite part a little forced... Maybe im not paying much attention or maybe its because this is the first SS saga i watch, but what does that have to do with Hypnos power, which is supposed to be about dreams?... Or are they still in the dream-like state he mentioned when made them fall from the skies... Probably thats it...

Overall: Really good episode, too much flashback for my taste, tho

All the old silver saints must have been extremely powerful to withstand a blast from Hades and not just get one shotted like all the saints in the original series.

And since it doesnt look like gemini will appear I paused the video during the opening to get a better look at him and he looks almost exactly like Saga! Da fuq?? Is it his ancestor? That means he's instantly cool, badass, and powerful. WHERE IS THIS GUY?? Oh I kno. He's probably taking on Radymanthys, Aiacos, and Kageho all at once.

And I wished they would have explained how Hakurei and Sage survived those 200 years.

Well from what I understood he used "Another Field" which makes dreams and fantasies into reality. But the meteorite wasnt even that big it was more like a boulder. And a boulder is nothing to a saint.

Gotta love that Aquarius Saint, everyone is tense because a possible final battle against Hades, while he chills out and reads some nice books (he even brought his glasses). The Scorpio Saint, Kardia, looks like a complete psycho.
It seems they are pairing Aquarius and Scorpio again, like Toei did in it's time.

Those unfortunate footsoldiers got destroyed, I almost pity them. He also has balls of steel, going alone to the HQ of the enemy. And that without talking of the moment when he destroys Hypnos's meteorite. This man is a complete beast.

That monochrome sequence of Hakurei fighting in the past was confusing, but, with all the few I got, he fought against the Specters of Worm and Gryphon. If he did beat a Judge by himself, them I think he is indeed the strongest Silver Saint of Saint Seiya.
I liked how the Hades vessel of the XVI Century had the same red hair Shun had when he was possesed by Hades in the classic manga, it was a nice nod. The scream he made when he was expulsed from the vessel was ridiculous, however xD

Holy Mother God that Athena of the past.

With an Athena like that, no wonder the Saints stayed loyal to her, lol. I find funny this Athena is voiced by Maaya Sakamoto, who voiced Pandora in the original series.

I got a bit disappointed that the Twin Gods got taken down so early (relatively) in the series when they are basically the strongest members of Hades's camp, but seeing how lethal they are int ruth, now it has sense why they had to be defeated before they engaged in battle with the rest of Athena's army. They would had defeated everyone in sight. Good thing Hakurei and Sage were clever enough to predict their movements. Also, if they indeed managed to defeat Athena when she crossed the Path of Gods, they are stronger of what I thought they are.

Still loving Hypnos, for not being as arrogant as his fellow Gods. Once you think about it, being the God who not only personifies sleep, but also the dreams of the mortals (at least in Saint Seiya), you can understand why he admires humans even if he is helping Hades, since he represents the aspirations and dreams of every one of them, hence why he feels admiration for puny beings trying to defeat him. Now I see him in another different light.
