| <strong>THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.</strong><br />---------------------------------------- <br /><br />I love this! The style is a bit strange, but i really like it. The comedy is really good. The 2 main characters, Pink Supervisor and Fuura, are awesome and work really well together. My only complaint is the censoring... It's really... weird... Who is that guy anyways? |
| GAH! you beat me by 5 min. Anyways, this was an awesome first episode. I really love the art direction and it is hilarious. All the characters seem fun and the writings on the board was great. "One way of abstinence is to not touch used dating sims" or something like that was just awesome. And i agree with jobocan with the only complaint being the censoring. I am so looking forward to the next episode. |

| the censorship had to be my favorite part, i was laughing so hard. my favorite blackboard quote was "getting a cavity in finland means you're held back a year in school." :D and the art....guh. amazing. cannot wait for more. <3 a.f.k. |
| The opening was good, so that's one good impression. The girl thinking he was trying to "make himself taller" was just funny. Art style is unique, and quite good. Characters seem good, as well as the voice acting. The censoring is stupid... I seen screencaps on RandomC, and I thought wtf... thought the same thing as I was watching it... wonder who that guy is. |

| This anime is simply gold. ^^ This anime has the best play of words/characters I've ever seen in an anime before. :P What I never got though, was that even though she (Fuura) kept saying that she thought that zetsubou sensei was just making himself taller by hanging on a tree, she did immediately screamed that he shouldn't kill himself........ Anyway, I'll be looking forward for more Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. ^^ a.f.k. and SZS ftw! ^^ |
| Really good stuff. The animation style is similar to xxxHOLiC, whcih in great - and in addition, the Pink Supervisor reminds me of Watanuki, but he's emo. ;p Looking forward for more! |

| The art is great and the seiyuu are also great... but I feel like a lot of the jokes went over my head. o.O It's Shaft so I guess I was just expecting something different. I'll stick with it though. |

| Hmm, I don't know. It was weird, that censor face thingie is very annoying, I don't like that at all. The blackboard quotes are funny but I think they're overdoing it. You can't possible get it everything on that board and read the subs without having to pause a few times but since that's probabaly just me I'll just blame that on myself. The art is interesting, reminded me of Samurai Champloo. The characters are the best part so far but I don't see myself falling in love with this. |

| Maybe the censoring guy is the person that created Goodbye Mr Despair [easier to type]. But i did ignore the things on the chalkboard, cause i was missing stuff they said. It was alot of work. Aha~ |

| Yeah, I suppose that's the guy. It's still pretty annoying. You see his face in all variations about as often as you see the characters proper. |

| I absolutely loved this. So different and original. The OP/ED songs are also amazing. Very funny and surprising. Definitely one of the best series as of late. But only 12 episodes? Uguu~! |

| That was pretty entertaining. I won't go as far as calling this awesome just now, but I liked the dark humor tone, and the animation style great. While the quotes on the boards and such were pretty amusing, like cyruz said, I think their overdoing it. I had to pause for every two minutes or less to read every message. Let's see were this goes... |

| I just didn't bother to read the quotes. I did notice the Finland one though. ^_^ I loved the OP and Ed, and the animation is nice. I read about the weird sensoring before watching episode 1. Meh. |

| I loved this. I thought the animation was wonderful and the quotes were really amusing, too. I didn't really mind having to pause to read them although by the end of the episode I guess it was a tad much. The teacher cracks me up. I'll definitely be following this. |

| I adore this show - it's definitely my favorite of the summer season thus far. The art is brilliant, and the style of humour and such reminds me very much of Negima and Pani Poni Dash (which are also by SHAFT, unsurprisingly), only darker. This show is made of god and win. :> |

| I like the background music. It fits in well while not fitting in well, just like Kafuku Fuura is to this series. The animation looks like a hybrid of xxxHOLIC and Gankutsuou. I love the play on names... amusing. Nozomu Itoshiki --> Zetsubou Kafuku Fuura Kitsuchiri --> Kicchiri Otanashi Meru --> silent mail Kagerou Usui --> Kagega Usui This series can cause folks to be a little mentally disturbed, therefore I will continue on. I like it when folks are despairing over things or nothing at all. |

| im so glad i just watched this series. yeah, i guess i AM a little late, but i just wanted to make sure that if it was AS good as i kept hearing that i would be able to watch more than one episode at a time =) defenitely worth waiting to watch them in a clump though like others said, the art is amazing, the music is amazing, and the storyline is hysterical. the censor guy was quite annoying also. |
| Seems okay, the "making yourself taller" made me laugh, I downloaded the series because I couldn't find a site to stream them so I hope it's worth the hard drive space. |

| Just started, and I have to say I've never loved a show this much after the first episode. The comedy, the art style, everything just was perfect to me. I haven't taken to a series from a first episode like this since Samurai Champloo. |

| Nice first episode! It made me laugh quite a few times. Especially when Kafuka was naming everything, and the comments on the blackboard. Also... The censorship was a bit annoying. I had already read about weird censorship, but I wasn't expecting... this. Does that mean that guy's face also appears on the RAW version, or is it a.f.k.'s work? Anyway.. I loved this first episode, hopefully I'll like the rest of the series. The art was nice, and it fits. Even though it looks like xxxHolic (I didn't like it for xxxHolic, since I was used to the art on the Manga). |

| Awesome first episode! Just what I need with xxxHOLiC Kei having ended, though this is obviously less supernatural and more dark! Like the pardy elements too. :D |
