| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Okay...no OP...That's odd. -Zenjirou pulling the "I'm going after the hot girl" and failing at it trope on his sleeve I see. -Okay, so what I got was that the Code Crowns are scattered into various sections of the Digital World and if you get them all you can obtain the power to become the King. And apparently they open up each Zone so that's how they get to Island Zone. I don't know. I need subs. -When all the Digimon went into the Xros Loader, I nearly freaked the hell out at the similarity to Rockman.EXE but then I realized that was just to get through the gate (What are they afraid of crowding? :P) I guess they wanted to use the Digivice iC's function but on a much larger scale -Oh there's the OP! Why is it in the middle? I guess they wanted to ride the exposition from Nene from the last episode. BTW, still no ED? Is "We Are Xros Heart" the ED like they do with Kamen Rider? I mean, I just wanna know. I'm fine just as long as there's Kouji. -I think the big turtle is voiced by the Gendo Ikari! -Oh yes, strategy to take down the oncoming fleet by swimming to one ship was fantastic. Let me just say, I love how since Frontier, the kids are allowed to beat up other Digimon along with the actual Digimon. KUDOU JUDO TOSS! ZENJIROU SLASH (not being useless! He has a role in the story!) Akari...doing nothing but she did shoot a bunch of ships...that's something I guess. -New DigiXros was pretty cool. ShoutmonX2+ChibiKamemon. (sub-species?) Plot convenience, he can bring an airbubble for the humans! Whatever, that's nothing new. I'm still trying to figure out how MarineAngemon pulled Terriermon out of that hole two seasons ago. -Oh.....wow....that preview was dear god yes awesome. All seven have been animated! |

| ChibiKamemon was so cute! xD I'm surprised how everyone from that zone also travels with Taiki in his Xros Loader to the next zone. Finally, arriving at a new fresh area. The obligatory "UMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII" yell was needed. Seems this place is run by the silly Archelomon and Neptunemon is the enemy army general trying to obtain the Crown Code. Overall, I think it was fun episode. There were a lot of fighting scene in the beginning and also second half with Octomon. Akari gets more screen time and prove herself more useful in team, I like. Though in the end the Divermons captured the chief and forced him to say where's the Digi Crown. At this rate, this zone could end next episode or in episode 6 at the latest. I wonder if Dorulumon is going to DigiCross again. I loved Shoutmon X3 from last episode! And I wonder if Cutemon is going to be officially Akari's Digimon - seems like they're just friends now. Only Taiki own the Xros Loader and he can make anyone else who desire it to DigiCross. I fully love the opening song now but I searched and found nothing on release date on the full version release date. )= Here's looking forward to the next ep! garfield15 said: BTW, still no ED? Digimon Xros Wars don't have an ending song I don't think. And I guess they're placing the opening in the middle right before commercial break. Doing it differently is fun every now and then. Reminds me of Savers. |

| I found out that during the actual broadcast, the commercial placement was weird like at the beginning so it's more like they only could have put the OP there because of it. |

| Digimon are able to get into Xros Loader? Whoa, so Xros Loader can work as a Poke Ball too. The episode was better than the previous one, at least we know now that Taiki and the others will be going to various areas getting the Code Crowns. |

| So is anybody else completely turned-off by the pathetic designs of shoutomon X2 & X3? Man, I remember when the digimon used to look cool, instead of looking like retarded and unappealing lego monsters. Shit seriously ruins what little enjoyment is to be found. |

| I had that feeling when I first looked at the Xros Wars promotional posters. It didn't look very much like Digimon (more like YuGiOh or some other monster franchise). Though I'm happy with the anime so far and don't mind the strangeness. I'll never get used to the DigiXrossing but if that's going to be the base of this show, then so be it. |

| Am I the only one who was wondering where those cute Pickmon came from? I remembered the sunglasses ones, but these ones were added just this episode, I swear. Also, why would they bring along Jijimon but not Lilymon? She would be so much more useful. And they could probably DigiXross for flying abilities. |

| DigiXros, while a different concept, is frustratingly repetitive in how it's animated. Does Taiki and the Digimon, themselves, need to say their names every time? It feels like they're trying to combine Tamers' posing with regular evolution, but without an non-instrumental insert song to accompany it it just feels weak and like unnecessary fluff. Like they could cut it all out and it wouldn't make anything less exciting. Easily the weakest evolution segment out of all the seasons. It's nice to see the two human side-kicks actually doing something, but it seems like they won't be on Taiki's level any time soon (if at all...). |
