Aw man, I'm terrible at replying =/. Congrats on graduating man! A buddy of mine is finishing his education degree and has done a few practicums at his highschool. He's really enjoying teaching :P.

Had some hard times during the end of my highschool time. Everything has been great since I moved from the lower mainland of BC to Vancouver island 4 years ago to study at UVic. Was a good fresh start. I'm finally getting to all my co-op terms right now so it's gonna delay my graduation date by quite a bit haha. But the work experience is much more important than my degree in my field so it's definitely worth it.

Happy 4th of July btw :).

it usually ends up looking like that
the art process is weird to explain, I do speed-paints occasionally though, but I have yet to do one with this coloring style. maybe i should.

yea, Its probably how I love NH but my cousins hate it there cause they've lived there their whole life.

32 in it's from the mid 2000's but i've only ever had a CRTV before this so it's a nice change.
and We were allowed to keep her, but she's my responsibility now and no one else's
which basically means she's my dog now.
it's ruining my sleep a bit

keeping the sketch layer underneath helps keep the original feel if you're working digitally imo

Well, the ocean's stained from pollution, so it's not really blue anymore. And the roads haven't been re-paved since they were built, so they're all cracked and stained with oil, some of them are still bricks.
I guess maybe its cause I've lived in Mass my whole life, but anywhere but here is pretty.

The move's gone pretty well, I have an HDTV now instead of the old dinosaur I used to have.
But I think the landlord might be making us re-home our dog

Haha sorry for the incredibly late reply. Just finishing up the last year of my Comp Sci degree :P. What have you been up to these past few years? (7 years wow).
GummyShoes Apr 26, 2016 11:21 PM
well, tonally, if I'm drawing something with a darker theme i prefer to keep it black and white and stuff a lighter theme I'll color.
Most of my art tends to be character designs though, so they're usually colored,

Ha, Massachusetts is only beautiful in commercials.

No, not sad, but not particularly excited either. I've never really liked this town so moving back to my old town sounds nice.

You are brago... :O
:'D

Yea, there's too many to list, but the most common is Cell shading and soft shading.
I used to cell shade, but I find Soft shading is easier. And the new style I'm practicing, you do the shading before the actual coloring, It's weird, but it works well for me, and it looks nice.
I hear a lot of people say that when they color a drawing, or line a sketch it looks like the drawing's losing the 'spark' it once had.

Ah, I'm still close to the ocean, I'll be even closer once I move again though, Which will be great during storms!

And, Thank you! I hope so too
TheBw Apr 22, 2016 5:01 AM
I guess it does... D:

Do you remember me? :O
TheBw Apr 21, 2016 7:31 PM
IT IS ME, MARIO!
GummyShoes Apr 19, 2016 7:21 PM
No, the shading's fine for me, it's more that it's time consuming and there's so many different ways to color, not to mention the cleanup. but I think I've settled on one that fit's my art style and doesn't take much time to do, I just need to practice it more often. I much prefer drawing in Black and white though.

it's like summer over there, that's crazy, it usually stays around 40's - 50's till about May around here, so it should start getting warm soon.

I move at the end of next week, so I wont have any Internet for a while around then.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
