| From the moment she started talking to him, I knew he was the Claw. I like that he's not some young bishounen dude, but an old man. Ray is a lot more effective than Van in many ways. He got to where the Claw was while Van is off fighting his old comrade. I like the explanation about the Armour and their function in the past. |

souledge94 said: van needs a new name. Van the douchbag. So, so true. When did a protagonist transform from tolerable to unlikable as fast as Van? What really stood out in this devolution is in the previous episode when he went off on Wendy (Bruh, she's just a little girl!) but this transformation was pretty obvious throughout the entire series. Look, everybody knows he's pissed off over his wife's death but he doesn't have to take that anger out on everyone, literally everyone. What Van needs is not revenge. What Van needs is an anger management session. Btw, Wendy's face when she found out who The Claw was gave me goosebumps.  |

I also guessed it was Claw when he began talking with Wendy. I agree that it is best that he is an older man rather than going the normal route. I did have Vincent Valentine from FFVII in my mind based on the opening silhouette though so I had to give up that envisioning.  I hope they continue to elaborate on the armor backstory as that has added a lot more depth to this story, and can make it more interesting overall. The revenge plot isn't enough to carry the story forward anymore. |
