| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- They do a good job if it's a comedy-only epidsode. Somehow they managed to reorganize the story and avoided the inconsistency which could have happened by skipping one chapter. The next episode looks like an original episode. I think they don't have to insert action scenes. They can make a good episode without such additional scenes. |

| i thought it was ok. I didn't find it that funny but i guess it was still somewhat enjoyable seeing Kasahara try to not reveal to her parents that she is with the task force. |

| I loled a bit when Dojo noticed that kasahara's dad already saw that book. This series is just awesome. I does have some small issues. But its just plain awesomeness. BTW, Dojo is geting just like Sagara. xD |

| Excellent episode on development, and the pace is perfect. It's very apparent that his father has already realised from the start - considering the cliches, his expressions already portray his perceptive character. Pirating_Ninja said: Well, thinking it in an Asian perspective, it just goes to show how precious Kasahara is to her mother. It's her own flesh and blood after all, and the Library War is happening, with live rounds being fired on people. | this episode was dumb. if you lie, you’re going to have to fabricate more lies. i thought the flashbacks to her childhood were cool. it was done in a way to allude the father’s supportive side. i liked the part where she chased down the thief. it shows her tenacity and willingness to commit to the job. not sure what the ending part was about? was it the senpai’s way of laughing at her? edit: pretty sure he was cleaning up the parent’s room. this means they saw what she had done. how did they get their hands on a copy though? the newest issue couldn’t be checked out for two weeks? ah i’ll go with they bought it somewhere or someshit. |

| Kasahara was in quite the lying spree trying to cover up her real occupation to her parents since they seem more conversative and want her to not be involved with violent-related activities, especially her mother. But it was obvious that her father quickly caught wind of that after looking at the article that she was heroicly involved with while hearing about how her instructor Dojo was commending his daughter for the spirit she brings to her job despite still lacking a bit in the qualities still required for real success just yet, and was confirmed to him with her stopping the thief with her athletic and combat abilities. Nice to see him believe in her daughter and even convince his wife to give her a chance, especially since it was her aspiration to be in this field. |
| This is my favorite episode so far. The comedies and the slice-of-life aspects were so good. Ha ha,guess you can't fool your parents :) |

| I felt bad for her parents, they were confused why she was treating them like that. I'm glad it worked out in the end and I liked them. It was funny her mother was actually reading and it's cute she's taller than her dad. I'm liking Kasahara more as the show goes on. She's reckless sure, but she's getting better, has an admirable heart. I liked when she flipped the thief. I also like that she's 22 but doesn't have her shit together yet. Often in anime people who are 22 or much younger act 35 with an established career. She's how I was at 22!! This show's pacing is SO SLOW. I'm having to take it one day at a time because it's too boring to binge. Maybe I'll enjoy the manga more because I can always read fast through boring parts and take my time staring for 4 minutes a page at the good ones lmao. Shibasaki is such a great friend and I admire her foresight. I wish the other characters beyond Kasahara were getting more development. If you're an MBTI nerd, Shibasaki's also a great example of a female ENTP! Not argumentative and domineering like the stereotype, but wicked observant. I also like her friendship with Tezuka and the budding romance with Dojo is turning out cute. He's dreamy! It's developing realistically unlike the cringe romance novels I've attempted to read! Military instructor x student! Love that trope! |
