Is there something I'm not seeing on that screen, or does that mean...he's blind?
Avatar character is Gabriel from Gabriel DropOut.

it was one of those mandatory loss to let her know defeat. but that was kinda cheap though. she basically made her play chicken. a good learning experience though.

i am starting to get annoyed by the animation style though. the faces look so distorted.

Not sure why she is so upset . . . I mean she lost to someone WAYYY more experienced than her, I think it was only natural that she would lose. Although it seems that Yayoi's glance pretty much let her know that what she did to a novice wasn't something she should have done, just walks away without saying a word.

Katase has risen to 12th place, and seems destined to be the best. Yayoi is doubting herself, while Arisa is doing her best to encourage the others. Arisa's not doing very well, but she seems to have discovered what she does well, and that is giving advice. She's showing she's a really good friend. Yayoi was a recipient of that advice, and she ended up doing quite well. However, Machida of the Big Four defeated Katase in the third pass of the lightning joust, while Katase was sure she could win in the second pass. She was doing so well, only to be brought back down to earth (figuratively). Frustration was the title of the episode, and she is frustrated. Also, it looks like Yayoi and Machida have a history, and Machida's win against Katase may have been a violation of the rules. The rules state that you cannot make it look like a collision is going to happen, yet that's exactly what she did. It looks like Yayoi was going to confront her about it.

Wow, this series is getting serious. Though there are lighthearted moments, this episode turned out to be quite serious in the end. It was a good one, that's for sure.
