They got the President's brain after a week, isn't that already over the time limit mentioned in the first episode?

Anyway, episode was alright. It was better than the first one.

They said they froze it to preserve it in the episode.

The series is ok, not loving it though.

So far pretty cool. Was expecting them to repeat the sequence as the first episode considering the plot; murder, retrieve brain, struggle with someone intercepting the brain, analyze brain, Aoki finding the case breaker clue and redeeming himself from noobness, but I was wrong. Can't wait for more and I Agree with Faust and Iriya too lol.

Better than the first episode I guess, but I'm still not really impressed with this series.

rofl. Washington, Lincoln, Kennedy, Bush, and uber-president Reed. One of these things is not like the others...

Dunno, they sort of mentioned it in the episode in the classified documents scene, but I really, really doubt that the U.S. government would allow a Japanese agency to analyze the president's brain for something as trivial as finding the murderer.

Also, "After all, the U.S. doesn't have MRI!" XD Taken out of context, that statement is pretty hilarious.

Ah, it's the old Japan's better than USA meme . . . they never get tired of it.
Well, if it was the girl's boyfriend then the question is 'why'? And why the heck would someone have his daughter's boyfriend's photo in a wallet? (Hmmm :3)

and seriously Aoki, with your own sister? Tsk . . .

Interesting story, though a bit farfetched. Like naikou said I can't imagine a country giving their president's brain to another, specially over such a reason.

They don't know yet what was in the photograph, do they? Anyways, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who smelt a sister complex there XD

uuchie> wel, they don't know yet, I'm just having fun guessing it :3

I'm pretty sure about the sister thing . . . wonder how far it goes. The mangaka is known for some pretty bizarre stories.l

It's always interesting to see how anime portrays the U.S. ... well, at least the FBI agents they sent could speak Japanese -- I'd have hated to hear Engrish from them x.x Like others, I find it doubtful that the U.S. would send the president's brain to another country for the investigation. More likely, the U.S. would use the opportunity to get the MRI tech in the U.S., and maybe the Japanese researchers could come there to help 9.9

As for the show itself though, it's nice to see a two-parter episode so quickly. I'm looking forward to learning more about the characters.

This episode didn't seem too bad, I will download the next one right away.

While downloading it I still feel compelled to guess the circumstances of the presidents murder: When the president said to his bodyguard he wants to be alone I had a feeling that he would commit suicide. Being all that perfect must have been too much pressure and all. But when he got stabbed I thought it wasn't suicide until the photo thing came up. I would assume an "indirect suicide", meaning he hired someone to kill him, or even asked a person close to him to do it.
I could be wrong, but I would like to see the faces of the americans learning that their great hero couldn't stand them all anymore.

I cannot get friendly with the soundtrack of this anime though... and I hope the glasses guy will stop soon with all his "is it really ok to look into someones brain??" Quit working there if you think it is! >_>

Nope the current president Is Obamah and is black they could not predict that lol!!

I agree everyone want to know others secret like they don't anything better to do.

Anyway someone stab the president and no one was arrested it was a freaking private party for crying out loud! Instead for looking for the picture he ripped shouldn't they try to find that killer.

It seemed like they obtained his brain way too easily.. but anyway I'm glad they didn't solve this within this episode.

The President is a bit to clean if you ask me.
Wonder who really wanted to see him dead.

I like the concept of images being different as perceived by the viewer. Scary things become scarier, and things they love become more beautiful. That seems like something we'd likely do with our memories, being the imperfect humans we are.

The amount of adoration for the president is laughable. No president is that universally loved. I can't believe there's no controversy regarding politics within the show yet.

Also, there is no way in hell the United States would ship the president's brain to Japan for an investigation. This is utter ridiculousness. Literally no one would agree to this in reality. They'd much more likely buy up the whole MRI operations and equipment and ship them over to the US than allow something this delicate to be passed to the other side of the world. My patience is going to wear thin if stuff like this is going to keep happening.
Even if it DID happen, there's no way our protagonist would be anywhere near it. The FBI would replace all but 3 members of the Japanese staff and have their own people conduct the investigation instead. A new guy who's been on the job for a few days looking into the damn president? As if.

I hope this anime gets better. I had high hopes for it based on the premise.
