This just feels like any other episode except it's the season finale. They decided to give Angelica more highlight than the class rep...

Fan service aside, it felt like they just went with a fun episode than some climatic type of conclusion. Haruka really exmplifies the loner stereotype except this anime is made self aware of it every chance it gets. He even suggests everyone in this show is a loner in some sort of way. Meh, I didn't expect much from this at all but this was even lower than the usual standard.

Angelica being introduced to the Class Rep, and Haruka being interrogated by her surely is yet another one of her constant naggings...

Angelica literally being borrowed for the class's questioning, and since she's a girl, the girls can effectively take care of her, even knowing that she's all skin and no bones. And with Haruka not knowing the blond beauty that lies behind the armour, the Class Rep certainly is jealous of someone her size being by Haruka's side, to the point of romantic love. It's only after the training that he realizes that Angelica is a true human after being the skeleton monster that she is, just without her voice that still needs direction and taking care of.

Even a friendly sparring session has Angelica on edge as Haruka tries to better his skills, and getting her used to human life back again certainly is one, like giving massages as thanks for making meals (though missing vital points at that), and friendly gestures like patting on her head needing a wee bit caution. Of course, the class seeing both Haruka and Angelica glossing over each other, the former's no longer a loner anymore, as Haruka now understands everyone's propositions in one way or another.

At least Haruka still honoured his word by trying to journey alone, but now no longer feeling alone anymore.

It's quite the show...of mixed feelings.

Angelica became the best waifu of this anime and they showed her real form in last episode bruh. I want to see more interaction of her with haruka but alas I don't think S2 will come. It was a pretty mid anime but last episode became my fav because of Angelica lol

An Angelica focused finale and I loved it. She's so cute and adorable. Was amusing watching everyone's reactions. I need more, s2 when.

Pretty fun season, wasn't expecting much but turned out to be fun watch and was sort of a refreshing take on the usual generic tropes. And that's the end of "My loner life in another world." Next time "My married life with a blonde babe in another world."

It was a good anime for what it was dunno why so much hate on it cause I think most people had some loner phase or anxiety phase while in school. I wouldn't mind a second season for it either.

Seems like there's a very important information from this final episode, which is resurrection is possible, though requiring many conditions (and a lot of luck). Too bad I'll have to wait for a while, or even forever, to get to see this information being used in the anime.

For the curious-

Relative to the source material, it looks like the series covered the first 2 volumes of the light novel, or about the first 60 chapters of the manga

Now onto the point of my post:

As an Isekai fan I enjoyed this one because I always enjoy Isekai that are on the lighter side; sure, there was that one classmate that killed the others earlier in the season but that was as bad as it got.

It was cut close, but it was nice to hear Angelica speak a little bit before the show ended, a nice note to end on.

Having read ahead in the manga, can definitely say I hope a season 2 is greenlit, even if the story is not a masterpiece, it is enjoyable and worth continuing, there’s a lot more to see.

The fact that there was no “thanks for watching” at the end gives me hope a season 2 is possible, so fingers crossed.

As a counterpoint to the one who said this episode didn’t feel like a “finale” it’s true, it didn’t feel like “the end” but that’s not a bad thing; the door is open for the next part of the story. At least it didn’t end awkwardly in the middle of something.

Well, that’s the first of my fall 2024 shows wrapped up, onto the next one

After 12 episodes finally the waifu Angelica landed. And finally Haruka won a happy "married" life.

Dk why girls tried to keep it a secret they really think he is degen, where he didn't even show single bit of it. Just wanted to live in peace and now he got it.

There wasn't anything but good wholesome SoL of Haruka and Angelica two loners living happily. Angelica is a really cute and trying to be useful to him. After living in darkness alone for years she finally got someone now.Really wholesome way to end the series.

Overall 6.2/10. It is what I expected from a seasonal isekai. It is not garbage tier formulaic generic shit but still very grounded adds nothing special. And probably will never get a S2 alas. It is made for people who likes the genre people who don't like and care about shouldn't even be here. The plot is simple and relaxing(except that one student) yes it's not loner solo run but that's always gonna happen from the start. Haruka is quite enjoyable lead and I just wished best girl got more time.

Well I’d be lying if I said I’d miss this one. Definitely worst show this season. BUT saving best girl Angelica for the end of the season is criminal lol. I needed a few full eps of her. I think the girls were the best part of the story whether it’s class rep, Haruka’s little gyaru harem or Angelica. And having her voiced by Hayamin just to not use her!!!

angelika reminds me of kei karuizawa from classroom of elite... yeah although the anime is not that great i could seat and finish every episode so it was good enough to be entertaining. sorta so looking forward if a second season is coming lets see what else since 12 episodes felt that it just got started and nothing much happened for 12 episodes.

Well, the anime ended, I honestly expected something more "hardcore" showing the true difficulty of surviving in a world of magic and fantasy completely alone, however I still found it entertaining, the opening and ending are TOP TIER, as for the rest I think it stays up to the standards of a conventional work of its type.

PS: Angelica is the best girl in this anime 🚬

and so, Haruka got a girlfriend —or a wife, depending on who is watching... lmao 🤣🤣🤣

I guess, it's back to reading the manga, which is also a lot of fun to read, but too short per chapter.

I definitely love how they animated Angelica in this series... AND I'M HOPING FOR A SEQUEL, SERIOUSLY!!!

Thank you for a wonderful adaptation. It's not perfect, but it's great. 8-9/10

Nice messages at the end. I won't be posting Angelica's scenes, better watch it yourselves.

and so, Haruka's adventures, To Be Continued. 😭😭😭

P.S. RIP Class REP, gave up on this final episode.... I hope to see her more next season, if we ever have one.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

It's a shame that Angelica didn't show up earlier and restored with her skin as she was a great addition albeit a bit too late. Plus since she can barely speak she can't nag Haruka like the other girls do lol.

Anyway, the show as a whole was a decent watch but nothing really stood out and as others have said this feels incomplete. I would watch a 2nd season if one is ever made, but regardless if that happens I give this season a 6/10.

Highly doubtful; Tanaka is dead according to the show's wiki so he probably won't come back. I'm hoping for a season 2 as well; more than likely they will pick up the story where they left off, with Light Novel Volume 3

Wow, so finally, instead of dragging out the lecture, Class Rep cut short her tirade and took off with Angelica to the bath. That is progress. My only gripe with the show is the constant verbal abuse Haruka has to endure from the girls. Other than that, the show does a decent job at what it aims to do. I enjoyed the show overall. So, seeing some development on that front gives me hope for future progress in the story. If there’s a sequel, I’d love to see one, please!

Angelica is introduced to the class, and her face and body are revealed (in the bath) to both the girls and Haruka. Haruka is shown working hard to improve his skills and become even stronger. Class Rep and the other girls have calmed down and no longer lecture Haruka every time he acts on his own. The ending ties up this season’s storylines while leaving the door open for the future, giving us a hint of where things might go and hope for a second season.

In my opinion, this is a decent ending.

@Alfredo-Sauce "fun" part of all of this: the original novel was more like you hoped it would.
The author toned it down when re adapting it (the manga and the anime both follow the toned down version), because it was forced to be published in the R-18 novel site instead of the all ages one.
Which is a shame because the original was definitely better

In the original novel Haruka discovered Angelica got her body back when they were in the dungeon, and they even

The original novel was way naughtier, including how antagonists and such acted

Perhaps I could have phrased my post better, and for that I do apologize.

I see your point, that the ending was satisfactory in the sense that all of the existing storylines were wrapped up and we weren’t in an awkward spot. When I say it didn’t feel like a “finale” I meant in the sense of a final ending to the series; it felt like there is more story to tell. And I hope there is, the story was enjoyable.

There’s no need to apologize. I was essentially agreeing with your opinion. That’s one limitation of the "textual" method. You’re correct that it’s not a "The End" finale, but more of a "To Be Continued" type of ending.

I would definitely love to see where the story goes in the future. I doubt there will be many more conflicts or challenges for Haruka, as his character feels pretty much fully developed. However, there is a lot of room for growth in other characters, like the Class Rep. They have plenty of potential to mature, and the story could progress with that. (I haven’t read the source material, so I don’t know if this will happen.)

Surprisingly good episode to end a mid series. Only part I didn't like was him asking the class rep for permission like she's his fucking mom. Honestly Angelica best girl love their dynamic and the fact that she kicked Haruka's ass lol. Wife her for sure.

Purple hair from the tent and green hair nudist get honorable mentions.

All things considered, he did a decent amount of lonering in the dungeon so I'm not too upset about the "loner" aspect that's supposed to be the theme despite getting dragged back into the class' problems time and time again. Totally whipped by class rep but they're childhood friends so part of it I get; still super annoying.

6/10 would watch another season if I get to see more kinpatsu kishi.
