New episode also meant a new case which turned into one about kidnapping. I swear, that theme is so common in these type of anime these days.

Setting is also back to the city again although it was nice to see a concert on display. This obviously sets up for the case and arc. Ron and the others had to put their heads together and figure it out again. Case just seems more complicated than it seems.

I guesses the previous case wrong, but it's not gonna stop me from guessing this new case, here's some of my assumptions

First of all, who is the real composer? At the beginning the composer was anonymous and used voice synthesizer and now a girl with good voice and good charisma claim to be the anonymous composer. Could the real composer be her female assistant?

Second, many suspicious events, like that curtain? Why she's so afraid of it? Could she plan to escape the room using that window with some tools hidden in there so she doesn't want the police to inspect that window closely?

And now my conclusion, is the kidnapping "stage"? After all, the victim will get even more famous because they'll be recognized as someone that the snobbery thief hummingbird "value their talent", thus increasing their popularity even more.

PS: I like that angry police boss, I love stupid hot men in high-power position, reminds me of inspector Lestrade of Sherlock Holmes, which to be fair, only defined as stupid when compare to the intelligence of Holmes.

Very good episode.
I don't find Ron(the anime) incredible.
But,it's so pleasant to live that I start to LOVE it.
It's simple but great at the same time.

Kidnapping case lets go! Had a lot of murder stuff but think this is the first of these we’ve had

I still think the police guy is involved in it, he looks a lot like the guy Ron called out at the start of the episode with a mask. But I also feel like the talent(s) themselves might be involved too. Nyoyon was sus to me idk. Looking forward to this playing out.

Watching the episode, there was one thing I found really odd. When she got the letter from Hummingbird, it was hidden in an acoustic guitar. However, she seemed to only keep electric guitars in her recording studio. Why would he have something so out of place to give the note? Either way, it will be interesting to see where this case goes. Especially since this isn’t a murder case (unless it decided to take a bizarre turn.)

Now this right here is an interesting case, I thought it would be another obvious one since we kinda know who Hummingbird is (maybe) with that Yamanashi guy Sannou, but there’s a lot of cards at play here. Some pretty interesting theories in this thread too, I’m starting to wonder if Nyonyon is so innocent like some are saying, I’d like to believe she is because she seems so wholesome but I’m not ruling anything out just yet, it’s also possible that Ron has done something this time with Nyonyon’s disappearance seeing how confident he was at the end, it would be pretty cool if he’s fucking with the Hummingbird himself lol.

Also the concert bit was cool, was kinda hoping it was a piano only show kinda like some songs on Warren Zevon’s “Learning to Flinch” album but the song sounded nice, Nyonyon’s voice is also really nice.

Can't believe they got Kogoro's VA Rikiya Koyama on this show. Glad that Ron riled the guy up. Guess he couldn't hide his pride as the Hummingbird for long.

Considering that supposed fear of heights of hers I'm curious what the trick could be.

Did not expect this to be a phantom thief kind of case.
Sannou is just way too obvious to be Hummingbird, what if he is just a fanatic?
The manager is too pretty she looks like an important character, also kinda sus
Also does climbing the stairs up and down doesn't trigger her fear of heights?

That’s a tall tower to just have one floor in. Probably too simple a theory, but the door is at the bottom, so a hidden door to a room half way up is possible and the open window was a distraction.

Ron and Toto are up against the talent kidnapper Hummingbird who just kidnapped talented people before releasing them after getting them to do what's best of their talents. This time it is a brilliant singer-composer Nyonyon. She was kidnapped right under the police of two jurisdiction - Tokyo Metropolitan PD and Yamanashi Prefecture PD.

The concert scene gave me chills ngl Rikiya’s voice is incredible man loved it even if it was short🔥🔥🔥

But bro you can’t tell me that the dude in the mask at the beginning isn’t the Yamanashi police dude man he even did the same pose with his arms out when talking to Toto and Ron but I wonder how he committed the kidnapping tho? My guess is that Ron got something to did with this idk but he’s got a hand in this😭
